View Full Version : Jay Jay's mum: he's real, a plumber and working class

How horrid was Jay's mum when she played the working class card to elicit votes against posh Harry and middle class Aaron: "Jays real, he's really real, he's been a plumber since he was 15." What's that got to do with anything, and why does being a plumber make you somehow more real. Harry is nicer than Anton, Jay and Aden who are all working class.

On the premise that Jay is working class: I have now realigned my social status. I am now part of the Aristocracy.
:D
PS. I was doing secretarial work and selling my home made products when I was 15. Does that make me very special too. :)

Same reason as they made Aaron out to be some vicious sod...... BB lie.

working class isn't really about money: Sir Alan Sugar, David Beckham and Mike Ashley (Newcastle FC owner) are all worth at least £100m but are all working class. Duchess Sarah Ferguson is posh but £20m in debt.
Back to Jay, why do working class people bang on about being from a humble background as if it's a virtue and mark of character?

People who have to brag about what they have - either don't have it, or are very insecure.

Shes just a horrid mother.
What makes you say that? She's blind to her son's failings, that's for sure.
The only thing I find 'horrid' about her is the fact that she thinks her son's behaviour with Louise, his behaviour in general and his filthy mouth, habits etc appear to make her son better than Aaron.

I grew up on a council estate and still prefer Aaron, Harry and Mark to Jay and Alex

She can say what she likes, he's not as good a plumber as Darren from South Shields:nono::spin:
Yes just a normal young lad..****s in her freezer, wipes his arse on her pillows and p*sses on the floor...just a normal day for a mum...

Hardly a normal plumber from where Im stood........Signed by KP show, Geordie shores (or whatever)....plus whatever else celebrity status chasing stuff hes been in.....
Maybe the "he's just a hardworking plumber" was in some way giving us an excuse to why he finds it quite impossible to use a toilet :D

I can't buy the whole "working class lad" thing either. Not when someone is so hungry for fame. He's clearly picked up connections somewhere along the line.

David Beckham yes but I don't see how Alan Sugar and Mike Ashley are when they're the heads of huge businesses
And as for Jay I think there is some amount of respect often given for those who do work hard for a living off their own bat, and it's also something that a lot of people can relate to I guess

Sir Alan Sugar/ Lord Sugar grew up in a tiny 1 bedroom flat in Hackney, very very poor. A lottery winner from a rough council estate in Manchester can win £100m - they're still working class.

How does being a plumber make you anymore real than anyone else, there are some very dodgy ones on Rogue Traders..

If he was so good a plumber, he's not need to be whoring himself all over reality tv to try to make a living. ;)

Depends how you define it, whether by occupation or by upbringing then I suppose

Perhaps he IS a plumber - since he is spectacularly good at plumbing the depths of the BB lavatory (as we have all seen) and the lowest possible personal habits - he's plumb stupid if he thinks he can be admired for his gross flatulence and behaviour - it's particularly vile imo.
