When asked on OKTV she said 'It's being sorted'. :D
Which doesn't necessarily equate to "Yes, I am sharing".
Absolute proof of her saying "yes, I am sharing as we agreed" please, or it didn't happen.

Since none of them have received a single penny yet, isn't it premature to be speculating about who has or has not shared yet? Intentions are not deeds. Let's wait and see who does what, not that I'm particularly a*sed - it's their money, not mine so what business is it of anyone's:idc:

I have an account on Twitter now but simply cannot be bothered with it, limited characters in a message and a ridiculous accumulation of tweets from those you choose to follow.
You are wise to stay off it, it's a waste of time and energy in my opinion.
Alex could have said very clearly ofcourse I am and it will be done soon, ''it's getting sorted'' seems rather vague.I do think she will though.
As for Aaron sharing with Jay, then I don't see why he should share hi 50k and I think he was foolish to even go along with it in jest or being serious.
I'd like to know when someone though is going to ask Jay and if Jay is in fact handing over his extra 5k also to the fund for the other finalists, his Mother says he only has the 15k he won from BB so far, well he shouldn't have 15k,he should only have 10k like Alex,Tom, Louise and himself.
Possibly another 2.5k max. if Aaron decided not to take his part of that agreement.

Well if I am wrong in that assumption then I of course retract it, I haven't read her articles or much of what she says,I have really no interset in what she may have said or not said particularly. Someone on here who started a thread said Jays Mother had said that Aaron had gone back on his word as to sharing the 50k,adding that Jay only had the 15k from the split.
I took that as right so I accept I could be wrong,so now withdarw that part of my post above, someone said it,so they must too be wrong.
In any event, my point as to has he handed over the extra 15k still stands though and it seems no one is questioning that or him as to that too.

Copies of their bank statements, signed as being true copies of the original documentation, signed by owner of said statments, and embossed with a Notary's seal. That should about be enough proof for me.

nah..it's cool but the apology is accepted (though honestly, wasn't needed). I did think Aaron was a bit out of order when the letterbomb thing took place, as well as a few other bits n bobs along the way.
I actually stuck up for Jay about using a different razor to shave his arse with , and then Aaron's hair with.... I was sure (and still am) that they were different ones.

Aaron was so desparate for money that when he heard the boos he thought he had lost and made an agreement to share. That is because he knew that Jay would share if he won. He also said to Gabby Logan that Jay was a decent person but he was not his type of person.
Dressed in a cardigan and acting like Hugh Grant I would say he got that right.

Didn't Jay agree to split with the remaining 4 and not just Louise? So he's part of the sham.
TBH - I think it was really shabby of BB - and I still am of the opinion that the votes were showing for weeks that Aaron was going to be the runaway winner and they simply didn't want him getting the full £100k.

They said they would split the money so everyone would get 10K. Common sense would suggest they would do it the easiest way possible. Which they probably discussed but wasn't shown on the HL's. Which is also why no one is questioning if Tom gave everyone 2 out of his 10 or Aaron 198 out of his 990.

That's correct, they said they would all split the money so everyone would get 10k.
Jay can't critisise others when he's not done 'his bit' of the agreement either. (not that I blame him tbf) but he's in the same boat really.
It was a very bad move on BB's part from the start and was bound to end up like this.

I must have missed the bit where all 5 housemates sat in the lounge area, hands out in front of them, each swearing on their mother's lives that they would share equally - because according to you, that didn't happen - Jay only said he'd give part of his to Louise? Or have I misinterpreted what you said above.
That said, I still think BB caused this - the money should have gone to the winner and we wouldn't have all this kerfuffle.

But they were meant to end up with 10k each (9500 lou/jay) after the split
Its much simpler for Jay to give Lou 5k(leaving himself with 10k/9500). Alex give her the other 1k.

Never said it didn't happen. I just tend to listen to all the conversation and not stop at what I want to hear. Aaron said they would work it out so everyone gets 10K each. They did not show them working it out in the HL shows. But after they drew the names from the hat Tom made the statement "alex is the only that has to split, really." Since Jay said he did his part by splitting with Lou and no other HM is disputing this. It is safe to say the split would be Alex giving Aaron 9010, tom 9990 and Lou 1k. Jay would give Lou 5k.
Of course BB caused this. It is exactly what they wanted.

No the agreement was that they would pool all the monies together and then split it so all would get £10k each.
They have no right to criticise - how much did Jay and Louise pool together with the other housemates - you know, to Aaron and Tom for example? If they didn't - well, they are as bad as the people they are slagging off.
I'm not particularly bothered if anyone on this forum agrees with me or not, it's hardly going to affect my own view on it.

There was never an agreement to pool the money together. Your Lord even said it before they found out how the split was going to happen. He said they would not let us split it because we could just go 11k, 9k, 11k, 9k, 10. and those that have 11k would give 1k to those that have 9k. You think the HM's were going to show up at a location with the money and divide it evenly? Sure Tom was going to show up with his 10, Aaron with his 990. They agreed each person would get 10K. No pooling money. Why do you dismiss the fact Tom said Alex is the only one that would have to split?

I disagree. If an agreement was made that everyone would get 10K - then to ensure a fair split - monies would have to be pooled together then split 5 ways.
I cannot recall EVER the housemates saying or agreeing ; "right, Jay, you give Louise x amount, Alex, you give Tom, Louise, and Aaron x amount". If you heard that, and can show me the clip I'll be the first one to offer you a very sincere apology.

See my previous post : here for ease of reference.

Common sense tells you monies don't have to be pooled in order to be split equally and seeing that Jay and Louise are a couple and are kind of 'sorted' with what they were allocated, it leaves Alex, and only Alex, left to hand over the dosh:dance:
I hope Tom has split his £10 5 ways

Why do you keep dismissing the fact Tom said "It's only Alex thats really got to split." Everyone else says "Yeah" then Tom states again "She's the only one thats got to split any money" While this was said Lou and Jay were loved up against each other on the couch. Common sense would say Tom made this comment because they saw Jay and Lou as 1. They had 19K. So Alex would just need to give them 1K. Then Alex gives Tom 9990 and Aaron 9010.

I could go through the whole gambit of who said what, when, where, at what time: but it's ALL pointless seeing as they didn't all keep to their word or keep to their agreement with each other.
I'm certainly not going to agree with you simply because you want to force me into it - especially when I don't agree.
Who is to say that further discussions didn't take place off camera (as you have almost alluded to yourself) - thus invalidating the original agreement as shown on the HLs show? We don't know - neither of us - so we're debating over ifs, buts, maybes on that matter.

Who is it exactly that's making a deal out of it all anyway - out of the 5 housemates?
I doubt it would be Aaron, coz he's won far more anyway due to him winning the £50k.
Tom - bless him with his tenner.
That just leaves Jay and Louise - who between them, pulled in £14,500, and £3500 after the £500 gifts they bought were taken off.
so who's the housemate that's bitching about Alex then? Jay/Louise?

First of all. Let's stick to what you like to discuss....Facts. I didn't say that Jay or Louise did not have a right to give an answer to a question they were asked. Neither did I say they were not entitled to their own opinion.
Given that you highlighed Jay/Louise from my last post ...... it's as equally a poor show that they are bitching (for that is what they are doing imo), when they actually got £19k between them. They are in effect - mouthing off about £1k. They should be thankful for what they got to be honest!
Guess they thought spending a grand of that on pressies would 'buy them' Alex's loyalty. The pair of them have a lot to learn. Some people cannot be bought. Good on Alex. ;)

Can you clarify, very clearly for me please. I am correct in stating that the only ones that are making any issue out of Alex not sharing are Jay/Louise - who literally are only short of £1k between them - despite them having received £19k (less their own choice of spending £1k on gifts on Alex and Tom).
They are posting negative comments over £1k when they in fact were allocated £19k between them, less what they chose to spend on birthday gifts? I have got this correct...yes.

Glad we got that cleared up: that the only ones making any issue out of it, enough to be tweeting about it all....is.....oh, now let me think here...that'll be Jay/Louise eh! All because they were 'done out of' a grand, having pocketed 18 times that amount after birthday gift costs were deducted.
How petty!

I don't believe I inferred otherwise. My point is that the two who appear to not be happy about being done out of a measely £1k (in comparison to what they received, £18k together) are ....Jay and Louise.
Still petty, that's my opinion and I'm perfectly entitled to give my opinion. :)

And what gives you that impression? Stating a fact that the money hasn't been split hardly translates to them being the only two who are getting worked up about it, they don't really seem that bothered
Answer this, why does Jay telling someone on Twitter that it hasn't been shared mean that he must be more bothered by it than Aaron, who said it live on national television?

I have not seen Lou comment about it yet. I follow Jay on twitter and see people ask him daily about Alex splitting the money. Just by looking at the replies to his tweets I bet he gets asked over 100 times a day. He has replied to a few of them.

Well stop taking it literally, you can see his tweets are littered with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, common sense tells us it is far more logical he meant "shame" considering the context it was said in

I will take what I read, in whichever manner I wish to MTVN, without being told by you, how I should and should not read something that is not actually written....literally or otherwise.
The fact of the matter is: Jay used the word sham. Not shame.
Just because it doesn't fit in with how you wish to construe his tweet, does not mean that I have to accept that he made an error. I don't believe he did. I believe that he did in fact mean 'Sham really'.... meaning that the whole idea of them all (Alex if you prefer) sharing the money has turned into a sham really.
That fits quite perfectly also, dependant on viewpoint.
That's very much my take on it - and I am perfectly entitled to put that over without being told that I should not have my own opinon, and being told to 'Well, stop taking it literally'.
I shall take it, as I find it. The man said SHAM. That is indeed factual, it's there for all to read.

I think that, in my mind, to hold a dogmatic adherence to "the facts" would be a bit foolish in this instance considering that, what I consider to be logic and common sense would lead most to believe it much more likely that it was a simple misspelling, as is a frequent occurrence in Jay's tweets

I didn't ask what you considered in your mind.

Look, as far as I can see the only reason to think that he meant "sham" was that there is no "e" on the end of the way he spelt it, whereas there are plenty of reasons to think that he did indeed mean "shame", so the latter is a more logical conclusion to reach

Absolutely, why would it not be alright with me Niamh? That's what makes the forum exist. Just comes across very much that anyone who doesn't happen to agree with both of your own opinions - that those opposing ones are incorrect and to be disregarded.
Perhaps you could explain why my own view, ie: that Jay meant to use the word 'sham' - cannot be equally regarded as plausible, as it's clear both you and MTVN feel that's simply not an option to be accepted (regardless of whether you are not in agreement).

Because his comment was less to do with people staying in touch (ie due to frienship)... I feel it was more to do with staying in touch - to share the winnings.... hence why he said SHAM.

Even if he did mean 'sham', I would completely understand why he'd say that. Afterall, Alex said on national telly that she'd split the £30k and she didn't. Bit of a sham that isn't it?! :)

Yes I did but I realise that a lot of diciphering is required when reading Jays tweets and 'shame' is the word that makes the most sense. But the whole Alex not spitting the cash is a sham!!!!

Oh I agree 100%, it's a sham alright
Yes you did, and made no mention of the 'shame' making more sense in that particular post....that post of yours was specific to the possibility that Jay did mean to type SHAM.
You will find that I also agree with the latter part, as stated in my post above.

Do you think they make notes for this sort of thing?
I think not ;)

Did you see the state of the 'accommodation' this year, kitchen area?
That was far more disgusting and more of a 'healthy and safety' concern than a used razor blade being used to trim hair....!

Oh I think you are far from a prude - if you shaved your arse with a razor - would your partner be happy running it under the tap then using it on his face for example?
It's called basic hygiene, but then, we all learned that Jay showed little regard to such things.

I'm sure that what men is shaved off their face is known as facial hair. In fact I'd go as far as saying I'm 100% sure of that.
Hair is hair - and it's attached to skin.

Aaron doesn't have a skin head, therefore one can easily deduce that the razor wasn't used close to the skin.

Aaron did watch Jay shaving his arse with it though, maybe he should have made sure it was a different blade? Although, I don't think Jay should have been allowed to use the razor they use for their heads on his arsehole either, just like he shouldn't use the freezer as a toilet :idc:
Well ass razer or not, he gave Aaron a better haircut than "celebrity hairdresser" Lee Stafford did :idc:

I can't believe you just typed that! :joker: Because it wasn't a skinhead, it didn't go near his skin! Now that's funny.
Niahm - to be perfectly honest - I genuinely believed that Jay would not have used the same razor - I actually stuck up for Jay at the time as I truly didn't think he'd be so utterly filthy & so disgusting to do that. Seems my momentary lapse in giving Jay some slack was ill judged - and that my original opinion of him all along, was spot on after all. Horrible man.

Hi folks, Pyramid I love your cat. I cant find the post which I want to reply to but it refers to the money. Having read the pieces from the twits and putting it into context, I would say that Jay meant shame tbh. Shame is a gentler word than sham and this is how I read it. He was totally out of order re the razor but there again that is the type of bloke he is.
Imo he would be upset about Alex not sharing the money because if Alex doesnt keep her side of the bargain then imo Aaron shouldnt neither. Aaron should have the greater amount as he won . In theory Jay would have done better to offer Aaron the 5, thus leaving Aaron's balance to be claimed from Alex. Louise should then have claimed her balance from Alex. It all rests on Alex if Jay has already shared with Louise. The first part needed to be taken up before the second part was undertaken, thus Jay has now lost out and this is possibly why he would be upset at Alex not sharing. It is said in the magazines that Louise and Jay are upset?

I disagree, he'd be gambling with Louise's money because there'd be no guarantee that Alex would split still. So he's right to split his with Louise who is his girlfriend. Aaron wouldn't have split the winnings with Jay regardless!!
