Even though we have definitive proof that Britney Spears is lip-syncing during her residency performances in Las Vegas, front-of-house sound engingeer Robert "Cubby" Colby pinky promises that she is singing live.

Cubby swore:

Britney sings every song live, but there are additional tracks when they're doing the heavy dance numbers. Snapshots give Marc the security of knowing that these levels that they work on so hard translate to the live environment.
It's just plain silly to fib when you then go on to confirm there might be some lip-syncing.

We're not saying we mind that she's too busy shaking it to sing, but we don't appreciate his attempt to fool us.

The Twitter account, @Brooklyn_Night is a very reliable Gaga insider account. They have gotten lots of information on Gaga projects in the last few months.

In December, they tweeted lyrics to her song 'Brooklyn Nights' which didn't leak until March. They also confirmed months ago that there was a song called 'Sire' that Gaga wrote for ARTPOP, and then last week Gaga sang the song acapella for a bunch of fans backstage at her show.

They also have been hinting that something is coming on June 6th in a series of tweets that have now been deleted.

Gaga has almost the entire of June off from her tour, which could be leaving space for a video shoot with Britney. And Jordan is counting down to something, and he also was the first one to spill the title 'Freak Like Me' months ago.

Could it even be possible that the 'surprise iTunes release' that Billboard confirmed for June could be Gaga X Britney? They said it was from a 'dance music legend'.

There’s a rumor floating around saying Britney will release an EP. It is says:
Word on the street is that Britney has recorded a couple new songs‚along with previously recorded tracks‚ that will be released in EP form.
There are two collaborations on the EP as well. The EP is likely to have a few of Britney Jean and Femme Fatale club-bangers along with two newly recorded songs.
