im beginning to think hes a cult leader of hari Krishnan proportions?
even if he isn't even a human being....a battery operated paper mache model stapled together by satan himself ........hes still been the most entertaining interesting HM

Aaron played a game and deserved to win. GAME PLAYERS ARE THE BEST.

Dexter has played Secrets & Lies well so, for BB14, the answer is yes he is a very much a worthy winner.
As would Gina be, although she has become a Hazel-obsessed idiot within the past few days.
Can we all call him Derek please.

He's a con man desperate to win the money, his desperation was palpable when he thought that Hazel had taken what is rightfully his money!

BB is also a conman this year, so Dexter is a perfectly suited to being winner.
I have to admit though that Gina is way ahead of him so far as conning the public is concerned. The difference is, all the housemates know that most of what Dexter says about his working life is crap. NOBODY in there ever calls Gina out on her background.
To that extent, Gina is the better Secrets & Lies competitor.

What is a "gameplayer" ?
- Forming alliances to put yourself in with the best chance.
- Playing up to the camera.
- Pretending to be something or someone you're really not.
- Putting your own needs before others.
All may be acceptable or not.
YOU decide !

Exactly !
We know he's a rascal within the house (and that's fine by me) and I really don't mind any exaggerations of his outside life either.
But if his "good guy" character going on this "journey" (which may still be true) comes across too fake or insincere then perhaps he's failed on both fronts. :(
He's still a man of mystery to some extent.
But when Charlie told him there was nothing sexual he lost his cool and came across as a bit of selfish, showing up his gameplan in the process.
What I will say is he's the ONE candidate with the best chance of appearing semi-genuine AND entertaining.
But if I'm not convinced his heart is in the right place (and he's walking a tightrope right now) then it's "best gameplayer" and "entertainer" i.e. Gina all the way for me.

if he was playing the game all this time then he deserves to win as thats some serious acting makes de nero look like a two bit extra lol
if he isn't then he is genuine and misunderstood hence his reactions to being saved and for that reason deserves to win
or forget both just basing on entertaining wise he deserves to win.

I guess it all comes down to what kind of person you feel should win. A conman that has made tv moments or a nice guy that has been funny sometimes but avoided conflict the rest of the time. Personally I wouldn't give a conman a penny for anything regardless of how funny or entertaining he has been, but that's just me.

He's not a con man. He's a PR guy.
PR my arse. He opened a company called white horse or something, with a £1 stake 3 weeks before he came in the house. It has not traded and he has never operated as a PR operative EVER. He is a bad paparazzi and the only other link to business he has is his father (who wants nothing to do with him) owned some clubs in the past that Dexter was never involved in, and that's it. Also he has never owned a roller, in fact he isn't even registered as a car owner at the moment that we know of.
He is potless living in a flat in Greater Manchester and dreams of making it big off the back of BB and people like you are being sucked in hook line and sinker and I for one think it is sooooo funny because everyone knows whats coming. When he gets out the Dexter fan base will all be left with egg on their faces WHEN THE TRUTH COMES OUT and they will all sing the same song, its called ''WELL HE WAS ENTERTAINING ANYWAY'' People tend to make excuses for bad judgement and its going to be so good to hear.

People are saying that Dexter is the biggest gameplayer in the house and i have to agree with them, after all its a game show and everyone in there has a game plan, even if its simply to be themselves
The problem is Dexter's not the best gameplayer in there. If he were he would be top of the leader board, not up for eviction every week, and not have such a big "hate" following...
First impressions stick with me and he came into the house as a smarmy, egotistical wannabe and im afraid that is how i still see him. Regardless of his change of tactics i just cannot warm to the guy. Once a liar always a liar and hes been caught out several times elaborating the truth.
As an ideal HM i guess he fits the bill, because it gives everyone something to talk about, but to win, i hope not......

The definition of con man is confidence trixster. A man that pretends to be something he is not for either financial or ethical gain. Dexter is playing like a con man but in essence he is a bad one. He has been up for eviction every week which means his fellow HM,s have rumbled him. The public know his game and he changes his mind more often that I change my underpants. The only people that refute these claims are some of his own supporters. When the little weasel comes out and gets challenged he will simply say I was playing a game and laugh. no big deal eh, it is after all a game.

there all types of conmen/women.
sophie who 100% has a plan lays back sticks int he odd knife where needed and retreats. thats a con she hasn't been herself
sam who knows he will win cause of his disability and sleeps all day avoiding noms etc to win.learns a joke book as a way of winning over the public very sneaky con trick that. he isnt that nice its a established trick
gina and her acting up for the cams another trick/con
the twins with their pre worked out routines they thought they'd sail through and win. biggest tricks and cons of them all though obvious.
dexter might be the only one who actually did throw his plan out the window like he said he did and what you see lately is him.

I agree in part but you are not boxing fair when you intermingle con man with game player. the others are liars and game players but dexter is the only out and out conman. You say he ditched his act some time ago. Well he must be slipping because he mentioned this week that he regrets spending 120k on a bottle of bubbly. Please get your story straight and we can debate further.
The words you are struggling to say are.....ok we accept he is a conman but he entertains us then it comes down to whether you are the type of person that supports a conmans efforts to win the show with lies and fake emotions. I would applaud that and give you Kudos.
Untill then, lets agree that he is a little **** and doesent deserve to win using tactics that go way beyond game playing. Aaron was a nice guy with a great gameplan and he cant be lumped into the same bag as Dexter, they are worlds apart.

Anyone who has consistently lied and misrepresented people deliberately to set them up for eviction does not deserve to win n it cannot be believed that he is suddenly a nice person. Some found him entertaining, that means he and Gina were used for entertainment which kind of is ironic and serves them right when they lie about and use everyone else them selves, it doesn't mean they should be rewarded with the prize for their disgusting behaviour
Also Gina broke the rules in 3 different ways A) Continuing to write after nominations had started B) Telling Charlie to vote for her and C) She discussed who had voted for who earlier at the table.
Together with the public wanting her up if they don't declare her vote void it is a disgrace she must be put up

Con men are prone to concentrate on those who have believed their spiel, it is part of their stock-in-trade. Haters, ie those who didn't fall for their lies are simply ignored as they seek out more gullible converts.

In truth I'd be happy with Gina, Dexter or Sam as winners.
They are the three I have warmed to most or found most entertaining, each for different reasons.
I wouldn't be unhappy with the twins, though they wouldn't be my choice for winner. I'd be unhappy with Sophie or Charlie: Sophie because the more I see of her the less I like her, and Charlie because her emotional journey/car crash has dominated the house at times and wasn't interesting enough to warrant the level of attention it got.
I have come full circle with Charlie. I started out thinking she was just a flake, then thought she was a master games player and now I'm back to thinking she's a flake. Either way she is only ever interesting/entertaining, as a foil for others. I feel sorry for her at times, and I'm sure she's a nice enough lass, but it's like there's a vacant space where her brain should be.
Also: am tired of hearing about how she's a 'deep thinker'. She isn't a deep thinker, she's just completely self-absorbed.
Mind you that's been said of and by a number of housemates this year. Generally it seems to be a code for thinking a lot about one's own emotions and thought processes.
I've liked Dex from the start (whilst also simultaneously disliking him at times lol). Same with Gina. He's absolutely fascinating to watch. He has screen presence. Gina also is magnetic. As with Dexter, there have been times Gina's frustrated me and times she's impressed me, and as with Dex, I flip flop between thinking she is acting a character and thinking she is at least partially genuine.
Never found either of them boring. Neither have either of them hit the lows of some other housemates in terms of nastiness (imo).
Sam, meanwhile, has a quiet strength that I like. When he is given air time he is quite charismatic, and given he is one of the younger housemates this year he's impressed me with the solidity of his views on people. He hasn't had anywherenear the same airtime as some others, and though I think his inactivity has been exaggerated, he hasn't been as active a housemate as others have been. That said, most of what has been shown of him I have found to be entertaining, interesting and engaging.
So.....tl;dr: yes, Dex would be a worthy winner.

Dexter is a conman and Gina is a conwoman ONLY, so far as I am aware, in terms of BB Secrets & Lies.
I have seen no evidence that they conned people as part of their normal everyday lives prior to entering the house.
So far as I am concerned they are therefore perfectly suitable as winners of this year's series. They have played BB at their own game! :)

Amazing how many people can be so easily taken in. Even those who do not believe the stories seem to thinking rewarding such lies is a good thing.
It is a bit like a burglar winning a burgulary competition.
Let the £100K be a lie and watch Dexter and Gina scream now that would be entertainment.

Such a song and dance! Lol! :D
Several housemates have lied to get on BB, e.g. Callum. Others have grossly exaggerated.
There are always a few on every series of BB.
So let's not pretend Dexter and Gina have done anything particularly unusual. They have just been a bit more organised, that's all.

Dexter's face was a picture of Misery last night when he thought Hazel had waltzed off with HIS money!! It needed all BBs powers of persuasion to convince him that the money was still up for grabs. They even resorted to reminding him how they had not lied about Daley being removed!

Dexter's friend said he had a three part plan. We are now seeing the final part, the weepy gets lots of sympathy part. If Charlie wont play the role he has mapped for her he is unhappy. How can he expect her loyalty after he chose Sophie to have the pass. He said he knew everyone would give the pass to Sophie. Really? Where has he been for the last nine weeks? He knew perfectly well that Sam would never vote for Sophie to have a free pass. No wonder Charlie was upset.
A liar should not be rewarded because you can win a game without being a cheat and dropping your supposed friends in.
