Niamh's case against Jake.

Today I'm going to lay out my case before you and I will prove beyond reasonable doubt that the Killer is in fact Jake aka SnowJakes which interestingly enough is an anagram of "Sawn As Joke" I will put before this court a long list of quotes from Jake, all of which can be found in the prison logs : http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236947

Exhibit A : The arrogance of a Killer.

Itching to tell Drew he won't be the one dying.........

Hi I'm Shaun and I value my health and hunger over a forum game

you should be bloody happy you get to enjoy 20 minutes more of being in the game

And why exactly would it be me that is going to die Drew... Mmmm :suspect:

Exhibit B : When facing Isolation he pretends to be nervous but slips up with his sinister "lol" at the end

Thanks everybody  nervous now lol

Exhibit C : The anger of a killer, note how he says Marc is "stupid" a funny choice of words, why is Marc stupid? cos he's angered a killer and is now sure to have sealed is fate? :idc:

No, you picked me you stupid, horrid bastard

Exhibit D : "Anyway" hhhmmm what does this mean? sounds blassé like "it's pretty pointless me saying good luck to you as I'm the killer because you're going to die anyway"? :

Good luck anyway Lucas

Exhibit E : I distinctly remember Jake telling me a story about how his bed had loads of room for storage under it a few months ago when we were discussing the benefits of space saving and storage in bedrooms but now he's saying he has no under bed storage, you have to ask yourself why is that? Is it because he has a pile up of dead bodies under there???

There is a very small gap between my floor and the bottom of the bed though, not enough for a mouse to crawl under

Exhibit F : A Threat?? and a day later Lucas is dead

I'd cry in general

(I'm watching you Lucas you bastard)

Exhibit G : The immunity "doesn't matter" of course not, you'll be safe either way, eh? eh?

I don't want to take the immunity just because I'm going to bed soon, the immunity doesn't matter but I would prefer to have mine done before I go :)

Exhibit H : A moment of genuine feeling from Jake here, he wanted to let Ammi know that her dying wasn't for nothing, she'd saved him and his cover was protected

Ammi :( you didn't die in vein

Exhibit I : Now he's just being sloppy

I want a death

Exhibit J : Funny how it was Jake who got this one, I think it was a subtle trap planted by Shaun to tell us all who the Killer is

The Killers, Oasis, The Libertines, The Vaccines....

And Exhibit K : Finally a confession :

What ya gonna do if we don't? Kill us? :idc:

Send in something crap and I might have to!

^^

Besides all these telling quotes and lets be honest, virtual admissions of his guilt, I took a step further and employed a specialist code breaker to take a look through Jake's posts and tell me what he thought. The results were quite frankly shocking. There was indeed a hidden message locked inside Jake's posts, as you can see my code breaker has marked this code in red for you.

So, I leave this decision in the hands of this jury and hope that you can see how Jake has guilt written all over him. Stop for a second and look at his sig if you're having any doubts, a scene from the film The Shining, is that not the signature of a killer? His hero a crazed psycho killer let loose in a hotel, is it not too dissimilar from a crazed psycho let loose in this prison? Jake is indeed a violent and heartless murderer but I'm afraid he's a sloppy criminal and he's just left too many clues and had too many slip ups for him to be found anything other than GUILTY

Everyone did great on this task

Niamh.
12-12-2013, 04:24 PM
Jake :laugh2: I love yours

Shaun
12-12-2013, 04:25 PM
Indeed you all did  now Matt, Ben, Claudia, LJ and I have the difficult task of ranking these cases.

Could you four please PM me your votes, in the following format:

1st: [the entry you believe to be the best]
2nd:
3rd:
4th:
5th:
6th:
7th:
8th: [the entry you believe to be the poorest]

I'll then take these rankings and convert them into points. Each 1st placing is worth 8 points, 2nd is worth 7, 3rd worth 6 and so on... with last place earning you just the 1 point. I'll then add all of the judges together to give you a total score out of the maximum 40.

The player with the most points will first be revealed, and be given immunity!

But then I'll reveal the PAIRS' scores, with the lowest-combined pair facing Isolation... I think that's all explained now  Hopefully I can get the results soon. :) Good luck...

Marc
12-12-2013, 04:31 PM

Shaun
12-12-2013, 04:41 PM
I've just realised it's feasibly possible that the player with immunity could still be in the losing pair (although this is incredibly unlikely...)

In that case the next-lowest scoring player will replace them :spin2:

The continuation of the ICB killings even after Ken's assumed admission of guilt was discovered when the group of 8 inmates gathered again for lunch on Thursday. They noticed the absence of Arnaud and made the assumption that he'd killed himself over being unable to woo Luiz or something - they were pretty heartless bitches like that. As Julianne made hasty adjustments to her overalls - she had a hefty camel toe on the go - she ventured that they should go and look for him.

Less than 20 minutes later, the discovery of his body in the ruined dining hall at the very tail-end of the complex left them all aghast. They'd tried so many times to pin the blame on someone and it'd only resulted in more bodies piling up.

"Seriously, why are they doing this?" Stefanie flung out her arm and hobbled about angrily (she had burns remember? OK) "What do they want from us?" She looked around accusingly.
"This is disgusting," Mariya's face screwed up, and she started crying into Richard's shoulder. He put his arm around her - not out of a particular affection, but just because she was quite heavy. He needed to work out, he thought.
An argument broke out between Stefanie, Julianne and Chenzira as they tried to pin each other's whereabouts the night before. They realised that drifting off alone kept making them vulnerable, and for that Arnaud had paid the highest price. It was his idea, after all.
"Perhaps we should stick together," Julianne ventured.
"And stay within touching distance of a murderer? No thanks. I'd rather hole up in my own space where I can't be touched," ranted Hugh.
"...or where you can't be tracked," chimed in Stefanie spitefully.
"Oh because you haven't been off on your own the past 3 days? How are the burns, Stef? Still putting it on?" He shoved her, and Demetri lunged at him.
"You do not touch this woman, she is sick," he stood inbetween.

The argument went on late into the evening, but eventually subsided as they settled down to dinner. Julianne's idea of sticking together - no matter how suspicious and violent their conversation was - seemed to have fallen into place naturally. Mariya was still docile, and had struck a rapport with Demetri as the token oldies of the group.

The next day passed without much incident: they'd used the fire extinguisher Luiz found to bash down the control room door but found that the computers were all password-protected, and there wasn't actually a phone in sight. Figuring she may have had a mobile, they sent Luiz to investigate her corpse one last time but he found nothing other than onsetting rigor mortis. They resigned themselves to the fact that they were totally cut off from the world and traded all sorts of conspiracy theories about this being the product of a right-wing government trying to bring back capital punishment.

Early on Saturday morning, one of the inmates woke a long time before anyone else.

In his sleep, Richard dreamt of his three children. He was the prison's only male inmate of non-violent origins and really wasn't cut out for survival here, and as he awoke with a feeling that he couldn't breathe, and realised he could see only the black of a pillow pressed firmly against his face, his last thoughts were of his daughter's face playing on the beach. He didn't even put up a fight.

As you should all be aware :p (he did reveal his identity in the TicTacTot game) that means Donovan, your time in ICB has come to an end :( Thanks very much for playing.

That leaves 7 of you now - and six of you need to pay attention to this final twist in the tale.

Drew.
13-12-2013, 08:21 PM

Shaun
13-12-2013, 08:23 PM
Before the task is posted tomorrow, I will post a challenge to become team leader. In a twist named Safe House, the team leader will automatically become immune regardless of the task's outcome, so it should take some weight off the leader's shoulders.

With Jake already immune he's exempt from taking the challenge, so that means 1 of you has a chance of automatic safety, and 2 out of the remaining 5 players will be sent to Isolation... those aren't good odds, so you'll want to fight for that leadership opportunity.

In addition to this, the seventh task will offer a reward to any of the 7 players - this isn't in the form of immunity, or a pass to the final, but rather a reward that will help you narrow down your suspects.

The task will hopefully be posted tomorrow evening; I'm out all day christmas shopping, and I'll try to get it up ( ) before Most Loved and the X Factor final.

Niamh.
13-12-2013, 08:23 PM
oh yeah Congrats Josy also

Drew.
13-12-2013, 08:23 PM

I want you to PM me the answer to this mathematical puzzle.

[SQUARE ROOT OF [Total number in seconds of studio version of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?", as according to the song's Wikipedia page + the number of top ten singles from Olly Murs (solo)]] MULTIPLIED BY [(The number of times Marc has played In Cold Blood) + (The street number Bianca lives in on Albert Square)]

Shaun
13-12-2013, 08:42 PM
easy answer to that is to look at the OPs to all of the main ICB threads in the ICB subforum in chat and games :pipe:

Benjamin
13-12-2013, 08:44 PM
Shaun you included Camel Toe in the last story.

You're kidding.....I thought it wasn't time based...I've done it now too waaaaa:sad:

Shaun
13-12-2013, 08:53 PM
[SQUARE ROOT OF [Total number in seconds of studio version of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?", as according to the song's Wikipedia page + the number of top ten singles from Olly Murs (solo)]] MULTIPLIED BY [(The number of times Marc has played In Cold Blood) + (The street number Bianca lives in on Albert Square)]

The wiki page for that song lists the song as having a 7:15 tracklength. That means there is a total of 435 seconds.

Olly Murs has had 6 top-ten singles in the UK (Please Don't Let Me Go, Thinking of You, Heart Skips a Beat, Dance With Me Tonight, Troublemaker and Dear Darlin).

Marc has played in THREE editions of ICB including this one.

Bianca lives at 31 Albert Square.

Therefore we can now simply the problem to:

I want you to PM me the answer to this mathematical puzzle.

[SQUARE ROOT OF [435 + 6]] MULTIPLIED BY [3 + 31]

and again...

[SQUARE ROOT OF [441]] MULTIPLIED BY [34]

and again...

21 MULTIPLIED BY 34

giving us an answer of... 714.

Drew.

Donovan.
13-12-2013, 09:28 PM
Thanks for letting me take part Shaun. Was fun while it lasted:)Glad I went out to Josy though, would have felt pretty guilty having put her in the bottom 2... unless she's the killer, then I'm p'd off. Oh and well done DTM!

Jake.
14-12-2013, 09:17 AM
Donovan :( well done on surviving Josy, and well done winning the task Jon

Shaun
14-12-2013, 05:02 PM
Yeah I probably will come to think of it  just got in from 6 hours of shopping, haven't had dinner yet and just want to curl in a ball and tell people to go away

Marc

Shaun
15-12-2013, 03:46 PM
I'll try and get the task done for tonight.

Jake.
15-12-2013, 04:11 PM
So do I take part in this?

DrunkerThanMoses
15-12-2013, 04:16 PM
The person who does best wins information on who the killer is so if your the killer you might want to win to make sure no one else does.. not accusing you or anything.

Jake.
15-12-2013, 04:17 PM
Of course you aren't Jon...

Shaun
15-12-2013, 04:17 PM
Yeah that ^

also it's a bit-by-bit task that'll require 3 or so posters at a time

Marc
15-12-2013, 04:41 PM
Can you reveal more without spoiling it? We could possibly work out a system

Shaun
15-12-2013, 05:42 PM

Task 7: Lockdown

Inmates, only seven of you remain and the prison is now in lockdown. What better way to celebrate that than with a task that requires you to unlock everything?

Over the course of the next 24 hours, 15 padlocks will be posted. They each have different unlock-codes and will be accompanied with a mathematical problem that requires solving, much like the one you took part in to become team leader.

Now, whilst Jon is automatically immune from this task, so there's no real need to pass it, he may decide to make his Isolation decision based on who contributes the most to it. And, as an extra incentive, the 3 members who help with the first lock will receive a lovely reward...

http://imageshack.us/a/img35/9486/pnul.jpg

That may all sound simple, but there's a requirement of you solving the puzzles. You can't just rely on the laurels of one member: each lock is split into 3 letters: A, B and C. You must decide between you which three members post a number. FOR EXAMPLE:

If the answer is '369', the number A would be 3, B would be 6 and C would be 9. It doesn't matter which member posts which number, but I do need 3 separate members.

You have an hour to complete each padlock from when it's posted, and to pass the task you must solve 12 out of 15 of them. Good luck! I'll post the first one when the X Factor final's done. Prepare until then ;)

Drew.
15-12-2013, 07:04 PM
might take me a while to understand this

Jake.
15-12-2013, 07:06 PM

Drew.

C

DrunkerThanMoses
15-12-2013, 07:08 PM
I think I understand it. Can we maybe do a practice one to fully understand what we have to do?

Jake.
15-12-2013, 07:08 PM
So confused

Marc
15-12-2013, 07:09 PM
I'll be a letter

Shaun
15-12-2013, 07:09 PM
Basically - you know what you all did to become team leader before this was posted? The maths equation with the Bianca address and the Marc number and the song-length of a rolling stones song... I'm going to give you 15 more of those. And you'll have an hour to work it out and get three of you to post separate parts of the answer: digit A, digit B and digit C

DrunkerThanMoses
15-12-2013, 07:10 PM
I think Shaun will post a mathematics problem for us to solve

e.g. number of players left in cold blood times 100 which the answer would be 700

then 3 members have to post one number

so Jake would post 7, drew would post 0 and annie will post 0

I think thats what the task is anyway

Jake.
15-12-2013, 07:13 PM

The Olympiad number

.

Jake.
15-12-2013, 08:16 PM
Yup

Niamh.
15-12-2013, 08:18 PM
why has Shaun quoted that question again hang on a sec Jon

Jake.
15-12-2013, 08:18 PM
What's an olympiad

DrunkerThanMoses
15-12-2013, 08:18 PM
whats the Olympiad number?

Niamh.
15-12-2013, 08:18 PM
xxix

Shaun
15-12-2013, 08:18 PM
the olympics were indeed held in 2008, but it wasn't the 2008th olympics :p

DrunkerThanMoses
15-12-2013, 08:18 PM
so 29?

DrunkerThanMoses
15-12-2013, 08:19 PM
2000 + 840 = 2840
29 - 25 = 4

= 710

Jake.
15-12-2013, 08:19 PM
29?

Niamh.
15-12-2013, 08:20 PM
right, who's doing the first set Jon?
