loved the episode glad they went all dark again. Really feels like its gonna be a good season one that i will want to re watch once its all finished.

The suspense at the beginning was insane, loved it all.

There settling the viewers in nicely, the characters are great.

It feels like Murder House mixed with Asylum.

Looks like it's finally gone back to how it was in MH/Asylum.

Hotel was by far the best opener, so tense and atmospheric. The foursome and all the drugs taking being shown quite graphically is a sign there making this season a darker one I hope

I really thought I wouldn't have enjoyed this episode when it began. I found the opening scene laughable, and this is coming from someone who is scared quite easily. However, it did get better as it went a long. I particularly enjoyed Wes Bentley & Chloe Sevigny, their sub-plot(?) is something I'm intrigued by.

Gaga was okay, I wasn't amazed by her. The whole vampire thing isn't something that interests me, but there's definitely potential with her character.

I love Kathy's character and Denis character, Denis looks like he will be brilliant in the series - I've never been keen on him.

Sarah as a villain is great, she suits and acts the part very well.

GaGa is also brilliant.

I find the whole mysterious guy who killing people and calling the detective really interesting.

Gaga's surprised me so far, she hasn't been given a lot to do but I think she's left a good impression on me so far. She's quite convincing in the role. I don't see much potential for Donovan's character though and I'm not keen on Iris' character, their storyline is a bit boring to me at the moment. I think it's just gonna be somewhat similar to the story of Constance and Tate in Season 1. I hope Evan and Finn's characters brings out something interesting in them.

I really don't think she's just a ghost and I think she has more to do with that demon then just being the 'Yin to his Yang'. I'm guessing that she is the demon. Sally is the benevolent side and the demon is the embodiment of her malevolence, anger and resentment. I could see it potentially being like a 'Grudge' style thing in that she died violently so she and the demon has became some sort of curse on the place.

I don't think Iris or Liz are ghosts either, they wouldn't be worried about losing their jobs (they wouldn't be able to leave any way) and I don't think Iris would be scared of the Countess if she was a ghost, what could she really do to her?

I do think Constance will appear and potentially be killed off so that the Countess can get her hands on the Antichrist. They said that the links between seasons would be stronger this time around so I definitely could see the kid playing a big role in the story in the later half of the season.

Wednesday’s “Hotel” launch drew a 2.99 adults 18-49 rating with 5.807 million viewers. Both numbers narrowly trail those of the “Freak Show” premiere, which drew a 3.11 adults 18-49 rating with 6.127 million viewers.

The “AHS: Hotel” premiere did, however, markedly outperform the “AHS: Freak Show” finale. That episode drew a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating with 3.27 million viewers on January 21, 2015.

Really good numbers considering how bad freak show was :clap1: plus with all streaming mediums now, it wouldn't surprise me if the premiere broke all other AHS records

The rest of the episode slayed me Gaga improved tenfold (even though I still don't like her accent) Mr Marchs backstory was amazing and I thought it was pretty obvious The Countess was his wife idk why people are acting like they've worked it who the killer is by putting those two obvious pieces of information together? plus Naomi was nowhere near as bad as I thought she was gonna be

The only negative was Holden cause the kid can't really act, but I guess I expected as much

I think the Countess will realise that she can't really control Tristan and she'll reunite with Donovan who, in turn, will betray Ramona. I'm guessing that Tristan and the Countess are gonna clash over Will but Tristan will manage to get some sort of leverage so that she just can't kill him off.

I definitely think they are setting gaga up as the bad guy though. After last nights episode i'm totally rooting for angela basset and the crazy mama's boy she just dumped. And the new model boy dandy is really annoying.

I'm getting a bit sick of all the characters and story strands being so isolated. The Hotel's so empty and the only person roaming about is the person who's turn it is in the story is a little annoying.

Another good ep, I found the Devil's Night segment perhaps a bit too much (I guess that comes from being all too familiar with the John/Jeffery cases) but I'm glad that the show is back to the point of making me feel a bit uncomfortable & tense rather than me feeling nothing towards it whatsoever. I think it's probably too obvious for him to be the 10ck but I think he'll become a killer by the end. They were talking about his 'potential' at the party so I think what's going to happen is that he'll get involved with the vampire story due to a mix of Holden, Chloe and one of the vamps being the 10ck and he'll end up killing a few of them and he'll go down for their 'murdesr' and possibly end up framed for the 10ck killings in the process.

Yeah, I think I'm just sick of the snail's pace of everything and stuff being left to the side (Iris and her son last week, Sally this week) whilst they introduce random characters of the week.

I think that's the best part of it being an ensemble, the first 3 eps introduced the characters and it was pretty even screen time, now it seems each ep is focusing more on specific characters/back stories, next weeks looks like we'll get the countess' backstory and more of Jons breakdown (convinced he's the killer now btw)

Michael Goi (he directed last nights ep) said we see a lot more of Evan and Sarah in coming eps too

I liked the last episode, it was definitely Gags best acting performance so far and I find Alex's lack of regard for her daughter kinda hilarious :joker: She needs to stay as an unsympathetic sociopath.

The only critiques I have are that the Liz/Tristan stuff came out of nowhere (they could have at least given some indication) and too many unnecessary sex scenes (and no Sally but I guess she wasn't needed)
