Interesting the Armenian/Azerbaijani televote had Austria 2nd and 3rd yet the judges all had them in the 20's.

The judging panels fair my arse.

Benjamin

Surely the judging panel should judge on the actual finale night? I don;t get why they don't. Or just do away with the **** jury panels since they seem more intent on the voting their neighbors than the actual public do.

LMAO every single Armenian juror put Azerbaijan 25th:
http://www.eurovision.tv/page/results?event=1893&voter=AM

And vice versa for Azerbaijan jury:
http://www.eurovision.tv/page/results?event=1893&voter=AZ

Remember when some Azerbaijans voted for Armenia and they were interrogated by the police? I'm guessing they're still at war then?

Wtf

I honestly think we should scale Europe back to geographical Europe... no Israel, no Georgia, no Azerbaijan, no Armenia. Turkey and Russia are just about scraping into Europe. See if we can cut back on all of these stupid little non-countries and their crappy infighting (even if one of them gave us three points).

then just reunite Yugoslavia again and let Russia absorb Belarus :ninja2:

I would love to have believed but it was a bad song with laughable lyrics. It got 40 points only and that is what is deserved. She put a good effort in last night, cant fault her there but it was never, ever a contender.

I loved that song.
It is a bit sad that but for the attention to Austria and Conchita as to being a 'bearded lady' that Netherlands would have likely taken this.

That is Eurovision I guess but I think Netherlands did great and deservedly so.

Yeah, we did have a real reason to be optimistic when you took everything into consideration. I was gutted for Molly.

Hope they stick with Guy though and this format, something will stick.

Or just send Hurts or Florence, that will do me.

Molly was a member of the British dance music project Stunt, who achieved chart success in 2008 with their collaboration mashup track "Raindrops (Encore une fois)" with Sash!, combining songs "Raindrops" (2006) and "Encore une fois" (1997). In 2009, Smitten-Downes teamed with Swedish producer and singer/songwriter Basshunter, for the collaboration "I Will Learn To Love Again", which is featured on his second UK album Bass Generation.

So she written a #1 Hit song and you say say she can't write think again

With no offence to Molly, the BBC always choose either standard singers, oldies, or in Molly's case, a pretty boring, plain person.

Even though most of Eurovision is based on politics, we always enter crap acts. Molly's song I though was quite catchy, but she's just a plain looking woman with not a lot of personality.

The BBC don't seem to care about us in Eurovision. We may as well drop out in future unless the BBC are serious about it, and if they are they need to enter someone very unique, special, outgoing, full of personality - we need someone that you look at and think 'only in Europe'.
