I've got my suspicions on who killed Lucy.. I'm going with
Jane!
On BBBOTS John Partridge said "if I tell you, I'll get killed" or something along those lines.. Why would he know who did it? That leads me to thinking it's his sister Jane. I recon she confesses it to Christian on her wedding day, that same day other characters work out it's her too! The last thing Lucy heard was a music box, the same music box that featured over Christmas..? Dunno what that means but my guts saying Jane now..

what if Lee raped Lucy at one point?
I know it seemed like Lucy wanted to be with Lee, but the phrases 'stop it' and 'Lee' were on the crossword?
It could also explain why Lee is being so weird around his mum when she hasn't done anything wrong?

There's something significance about the roof of the house
Someone on DS has found that the music clue played at the NTA's was playing outside the Beale's house in the episode after she died. :suspect:
This is all getting very strange.
Emma looked upwards at the window/roof too.
Braden
28-01-2015, 06:11 PM
I've loved reading some of the theories on DS...although I do like my own on my Lee. :hehe:
Apparently in past episodes there was emphasis on the gate, which could mean that Lucy was killed at the Beale's house.
Ian also collapsed outside the house before he told Denise/Jane that Lucy was dead. Maybe Ian couldn't gather himself because he killed her on the doorstep?

I'm starting to get behind the idea that a Beale killed Lucy, but I hope it isn't Cindy. I'd be underwhelmed of it turned out to be her because I don't really care for character much and it would quite typical.

She's in the hour-long episode on the 19th as well as the flashback (her final appearance). I have a feeling she'll discover who killed Lucy, possibly before anyone else does and feels she can't be around the Square any more leaving without Peter and will return with a baby in 6 months to a year's time. I imagine the flashback stuff surrounding Lauren would've been filmed well before the actual episode was filmed in January.

I entered the competition and said Ian, but I don't think it's him. My thinking was that I was expecting a shock as it's the 30th Anniversary. My second guess is Jane but I hope it's not her, otherwise I'll be annoyed as I should have chosen her. My third guess is Denise and then Abi.

Oh I know. I just meant her being so eager to step forward and stop Lauren going to the police to say she was near the house makes me think she was inside the house cleaning up or something.
Some of the photos from the flashback episode also seem to indicate she was killed at home. That would be a turn up for the books.

Oh! Jane says she was at Masood's but I don't think she was. I think we're going to get another twist. If Jane isn't the killer, I think there will be another twist as to where she was the night Lucy was killed.
I noticed that, too. Lucy is mugged on Turpin Road near the Chippy (from the pictures it looks like this location) so I'm not sure why she made her way to the Common as I swear it's in the opposite direction (beyond the car lot).

EastEnders: Live scenes will be 'clearly marked', says BBC
The BBC has said that EastEnders' Live Week's scenes will be clearly highlighted for viewers.
The soap will celebrate its 30th anniversary next week, with episodes on Tuesday (February 17), Wednesday (February 18) and Thursday (February 19) including live inserts, ahead of an entire live episode on Friday (February 20).
Responding to fans on the show's official Facebook page, it was confirmed that the scenes would be "clearly marked" with the official hashtag '#EELive', enabling viewers to know exactly when the cast are broadcasting live from the Elstree set.
Live Week will see the 'Who Killed Lucy Beale?' storyline come to a head, with the killer being revealed in Thursday's hour-long edition. It will be followed by a special 30-minute flashback episode that will take viewers back to Good Friday 2014, revealing the true sequence of events that led to Lucy's (Hetti Bywater) murder.
Barbara Windsor (Peggy Mitchell), Jo Joyner (Tanya Branning) and John Partridge (Christian Clarke) will all make on-screen comebacks across the week.

It’s been ten months, TEN MONTHS, since little Lucy Beale’s body was found on Walford common. In that time there has been four births, three marriages and two more deaths on the Square – and now we’re only a week away from finding out who dunnit.
And I’m telling you it’s Jane.
Kind of. Don’t forget this is EastEnders we’re talking about and nothing is ever straightforward, so this is what I think happened…
Following the discovery that Lucy kept a stash of cocaine in her jewellery box, Jane flipped out.
She flipped out even more when, later that night, she discovered that little Bobby had got his hands on Lucy’s drugs. After catching Lucy having sex with Lee earlier that day, Jane sent Lucy a text saying she needed to talk to her. Jane thought Lucy was going off the rails and her intention was to talk some sense into her.
Instead, Lucy wound Jane up by laughing at her and saying that Bobby wasn’t even her real son and she was just a barren old woman – or something else lovely along those lines.
Jane lost her temper and flung the jewellery box at Lucy, causing her to fall down and knock her head. (Remember one of the clues was the music box being the last thing Lucy heard?)
And also remember that Lucy had already had a bump to the head a few days before?
Well, the second knock to the head caused her to have an aneurism (yep, like what Pauline had ‘n all) and she died. The open music box on the floor was the last thing she heard as she died. Jane panicked because a) she hadn’t meant to kill Lucy, she just lost her temper and b) she couldn’t be a mum to Bobby if she was locked up.
So she took Lucy’s body to Walford Common and dumped it there to make it look like a mugging.
That’s when her behaviour started to become very suspicious.
After having sex with Ian (GUILT!) she rushed back to Birmingham with Bobby (TO HAVE HER CAR CLEANED OUT SO NONE OF LUCY’S DNA WAS IN IT.) Then there was that whole drama about her not going to the funeral (GUILT!) She turned up in the end but still managed to avoid it when she comforted Ian who had just found out that Lucy had been sleeping with Max.
Are you all still with me?
Further incriminating evidence for Jane is her being the first one to look at Lucy’s phone after Ian had charged it up. This gave her the chance to delete the message she sent Lucy on the night she was killed. And remember how she took on Phil Mitchell to keep the phone and purse? Who takes on Phil Mitchell?
Maybe someone whose fingerprints and DNA are all over the stuff from when she took it off Lucy and dumped it, making it look like she was mugged. And then she hid them under the floorboard in the Beale house, rather than giving them to the police.
Bit suspicious, no?
Small but crucial, Emma knew the killer drinks tea – we know this because she bought one for the killer when they met at the park. How many cups of tea had she shared with Jane while working as the family liaison officer and comforting the family?
And then there is the small matter of Lauren discovering Emma’s file and recognising the number written down. The landline number of her best friend and childhood sweetheart would be a number she’d know by sight, after all. And she’s acting all weird about going to the Beale house at the moment, but doesn’t actually seem a bit scared by Peter.
Which suggests that it’s someone ELSE in the house.
Finally, there’s that weird alibi she provided for Lauren when Emma was given the footage from Fatboy’s phone. Was she providing an alibi for Lauren? Or for herself? Or was she telling the truth, but lying about where she was? If she were inside the Masood’s as she claims, she wouldn’t have been able to see if Lauren had gone into the Beale house or not. (Look at a map of the Square if you need convincing).
So there you have it…that’s what happened to Lucy Beale. I’m off to sign up to Walford CID.
I just read this and tbh it's a pretty solid theory imo

Glad that they finished off Nick properly.. Having him go the way I thought he did during Thursday's ep would have been poor

Glad to see the back of Nick. However, like Katie's death in Emmerdale it somehow felt anti-climatic. I think it's Cindy most definitely after tonight she's the only Beale Lauren didn't interact with and it's practically confirmed it's a Beale.

Pam and Les aren't in the cast list for the flashback episode so they can be ruled out.

Pam and Les killing Lucy will be a let down

It was either Max/Abi or Jane/Cindy in my own opinion.
Either Max killed Lucy and Abi helped him move the body, in the video he was seen taking out the trash, or Abi killed Lucy and Max helped her move the body. Remember, she was cleaning out the car lot with bleach to make sure there was no blood there. She probably did this to the house, too.
Or Jane killed Lucy and Cindy helped her (or vice versa) and they moved her body via Jane's car... (Maybe Cindy wasn't involved).
I can't come up with any explanation for anyone else to have done it.

The 30th anniversary episode starts with the exact same way as the very first episode, three characters busting the door down. They'll also use the line "Stinks in here."

That's what I think, but apparently she has no scenes with Phil because she says it was sad that for her last appearance she would have liked Peggy and Phil to share a scene.
