Denise being all bitter about Jane and Ian doesn't make any sense.
She didn't love Ian and wanted to leave him for a long time so doesn't have any heartbreak over not being with him herself and didn't have any pity for Jane after she slept with him behind her back.

I'm almost certain now after this week that it is Cindy who killed Lucy. All the clues are pointing in her direction but without it being obvious it's her if you get what I mean... Lauren doesn't want to be with Peter because she knows one of the Beale's killed Lucy I think we've seen her interaction with Jane and Ian be a bit odd but not with Cindy which makes me think that the producers and not making her interact with Cindy so it doesn't seem blatantly obvious that it's her. It's pretty much certain that a Beale killed Lucy anyway as Lauren wrote a wedding card saying she knows what happened to Lucy. I don't think the producers would dare make the killer Ian as it would ruin not only his character but the whole show.
Marsh.
15-02-2015, 01:23 PM
I kind of got the impression from Lauren writing that card that she's actually writing a confession.
DTC did say the killer wouldn't necessarily know that they are the cause of her death so maybe Emma's notes somehow made it all click for her.

She didn't love Ian and wanted to leave him for a long time so doesn't have any heartbreak over not being with him herself and didn't have any pity for Jane after she slept with him behind her back.
I think her frustration was Ian and Jane's initial relationship, how they were together for a while prior to him and Denise and were so quick to get back together (and get married) after Denise left him. Not to mention that they live across the road from her and she probably sees them every day, along with all her personal troubles she has going on with her job, alcohol, Patrick. It's a lot to handle, and I swear I will be so angry if they make Denise the killer

Approx. 10 million for Thurs, 9m on Friday.
Hopefully a lot more but it's currently hovering around the 7 million bracket at the minute and I don't see it increasing to 50% more than it usually gets (unlike the live) so I reckon they'd be lucky to just about break into double digits. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

I don't think they'll reach the 16/17 million they got in 2010 but it should get a lot. The live episodes always attract people who never normally watch.

so it sounds like we won't hear the line 'i killed lucy'?
Treadwell-Collins also revealed that Lucy Beale's killer will confess to the crime in a different way to how Stacey Branning confessed to murdering Archie Mitchell in 2010's live episode.
Viewers will instead see a "few conversations" take place during the episode, as the 10-month murder mystery finally unravels.
He said: "It does make it more difficult. With Archie, it was a one-line reveal, but with this one it's more complicated. There are a few conversations."
Digital Spy (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a629122/eastenders-boss-on-anniversary-fans-want-to-see-live-episode-mistakes.html#~p4w1FpKS3Dxn7j)
Marsh.
17-02-2015, 02:33 AM
Probably will hear those. But it won't be as simple as one person stating "I killed Lucy" and then end of episode like last time.
It will probably be a full confession about what happened.
I have a feeling it will play out like Lauren telling Peter she knows what happened, whilst Jane confesses to Ian that she helped cover things up, whilst Cindy confesses she killed her to someone like Denise.
That way we have three conversations that provide information then see how it all happened in the flashbacks?

I'm sure I read a few weeks ago that Dean had signed another contract to stay in the show for 12 more months.
I think he needs to stick around at least a little bit longer for the Shabnam story.

There are live inserts like the rest of the episodes.
