As you all know, the aim of this task was to PM me the longest word in the quickest possible time. What's the price for failing to do this? Well...

The two people who did this incorrectly and/or in the slowest time will become the first nominees of the season...

Breaking down these results therefore, we find that:

Jersey, Luke, Daniel and Lucas all got the correct word the quickest and are safe. Calderyon failed to get the correct word but his answer was quicker than the other nine players, so thus he is also safe. Lostie was the slowest to answer but as he was correct, he is also safe. Germyle, Jay and Liam were all slower than Tom but all got the correct word too, and as a result, they too are safe for the time being. Josiah too failed to get the correct word, but as his word appeared in the word search, he is the final player that is safe.

As Tom and Nick both submitted an incorrect word, they are the first nominees.

But don't worry, all could still change after the first Power of Veto competition is played...

Power of Veto

It's time for the first Veto comp of the season, and this one is called Stick or Switch.

You're about to be divided into two teams of four, which will be chosen by the two nominees in a school-style pick. Once the two teams are confirmed, two players from opposing teams will face-off against each other for a quick-fire question. The player who answers correctly first will score a point, and the loser will be eliminated. The losing player will nominate a player from their team to take their place, while the winning player will have the option to Stick and continue against another player, or Switch and nominate another member of their team to take their place.

Once one team is eliminated, the player in the winning team with the most points will win the Power of Veto. In the event of a tie, the tied players on the winning team will compete in a further quick-fire round until there is a winner.

The aim of this game is to accumulate as many points as you can, but not to risk staying on too far that you end up being eliminated. Switch for another player on your team in an attempt to eliminate them, but risk them scoring more points. It's all about knowledge, skill and timing.

That's another element to this, you want people on your team who are going to ensure your team doesn't get eliminated first, but you don't want people who are going to accumulate more points than you

The aim of the game is to get as many points as you can, but how far do you risk staying on when you could potentially be eliminated. Switch for someone else in the hope they'll be eliminated (to the detriment of your team winning the game), but they could accumulate more points than you
