They won´t do mainly because of the audience who just want to see American´s on TV. I think one of the requirements on the application is that you have to be an U.S Citizen to qualify.

They would be also annoyed by the different slangs and dialects people speak and would not understand what they say. Among other things. People would switch off and they would lose viewers.

It would be just too much of a risk to them.

The budget must have taken a cut this year because the comps this season have been really bad and hardly very elaborate at all. When you think back to BBCan3's epic final HoH comp with the rocks/sand stuff and then look at BB17's part 1 it's like :umm2:

Do they only recruit Americans? now that i think about it, i don't remember ever seeing a non-american player before.

I think you just have to be resident in the US to apply, which if true in theory means Brits or other nationalities could become houseguests.

If that is the case and I ever end up living in America I'll definitely be applying :laugh: I do wish the UK would trial the US format tho

I stand corrected. Still, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that a Brit could have acquired US citizenship and make it onto the show

Vanessa would be one of the greatest winners, not only is she a good gameplayer but she is also very entertaining. She's better to me than someone like Derrick who played an amazing game but is as boring as watching paint dry.

Will and Dan coast a lot on reputation tbh. At least we got to see Dan's game completely unravel in BB14 and have him lose in a humiliating fashion <3

but yeah, as predictable as a Vanessa win would be, I hope that it would stand as a message to future players that you can play a strategically dominant game without being a complete bore or fun suck like Derrick (and I'll go ahead and add Dan there too!)

What ever happens on finale night its going to be entertaining. Vanessa either wins it all and will be considered one of the best winners of all time or her final 3 eviction will go down in history as one of the best BB moments of all time. Either way she is an All Star.
