It is all kicking off in France tonight

At least 18 people have been killed in several shootings in the French capital, Paris, as well as explosions at the Stade de France.
At least one man opened fire with an automatic gun at the Petit Cambodge restaurant in the 11th district.
Liberation newspaper reports four deaths. It also reports shootings near the Bataclan arts centre.
Three explosions are also reported outside a bar near the Stade de France, where France were hosting Germany.
Reports say French President Francois Hollande was watching the match and has been moved to safety.

At least 26 people have been killed and several others wounded after a shooting and several explosions in Paris on Friday night.

Police have also confirmed an ongoing hostage situation at a rock concert at the Bataclan theatre in the 11th arrondissement

Local media said the shooting happened outside a restaurant in the 10th arrondissement, not far from the offices on magazine publisher Charlie Hebdo.

Witnesses have described seeing bodies lying in the street.

According to those same reports, the gunmen have not been caught.

Elsewhere in the capital, several explosions took place near the Stade de France, where the national football team was playing Germany.

President Francois Hollande was inside the stadium at the time, but has since been taken to the Interior Ministry to deal with the unfolding situation.

A police official confirmed there had been at least one blast in a bar, but it was unclear if there were any casualties.

An Associated Press reporter who was at the stadium has reported hearing two explosions that were loud enough to penetrate the sound of cheering fans.

It was not immediately clear if the attacks were connected.

A lot of Fifth Columnist Jihadists are already long ensconced in all the Western countries Pete. I just hope that all the relevant Intelligence Services are on to these bastards ready to stop them in their tracks.

It does not take many armed murderers to capture and subdue larger numbers of unarmed ordinary people - especially when it's done by surprise - so we must not read too much into this as horrific as it is.

I hope that ALL the hostages survive.

No - It is eventually inevitable as you say. I think the fact that we have not yet suffered one is mainly down to the superiority of our Intelligence Services over the French equivalent. But they ARE here and waiting to strike, as I have been trying to say on here for a long time.

There's something very off about this attack, I've never heard of Isis taking hostages before in an attack unless it's on their soil. I'm no expert but from what i know they usually go in and brutally execute everyone they can.

The grenades are a strange one too, don't they usually use homemade stuff?

It's probably Isis but I've got the weirdest feeling that this may be something else.

IDK, these attacks seem to have been planned for weeks/months and news about Jihadi John dying only came out today :worry:

Completely irrelevant though.

Imagine just a handful of covert Islamic Jihadists residing in Newham and Tower Hamlets say. They were born here or have immigrated here years ago. They have weapons including firerarms, grenades and bombs, and they are waiting for the word to act.

How long do you think it takes for news that Jihadi John has been killed to reach ISIS heads? Certainly these bastards will know within minutes - far more quickly than we will learn of it that's for sure. Then how long do you think that it will take the heads of ISIS to organise a revenge strike or series of strikes? Within hours.

Even a handful of heavily armed insane murderers are all that's needed to subdue and take hostage large amounts of unarmed ordinary people - especially when such action is by surprise.

Perhaps ISIS were already planning to hit France on Friday the 13th before Jihadi John was killed. Who knows, but the point is, it does not take major organising or months of planning to execute these types of cowardly surprise attacks on unnarmed, unsuspecting civilians.

I think you could be right, the strikes may see well planned, but to me they seem like a series of small events that could have been set for any time, they just needed an hour or two to mobilize their forces so to speak.

Oh it exists Hayden - just not in these evil subhumans.

Travel through America's Deep South, witness the teeming masses of ordinary decent, black Americans spilling out of a thousand churches. Watch the moral indignation of decent black men and women in the audience of Jeremy Kyle USA or Maury Povitch at the degenerate 'guests' - then think of the black bestial Serial Killers like Jake Bird who killed 44, or Lorenzo Gilyard who killed at least 13.

Think of Peter Sutcliffe, Fred and Rose West, Harold Shipman, Thompson and Venables and Hyndley and Brady, then look at the millions of ordinary decent people in the UK who donate millions to charities, who rush weeping to kneel and pray in synagogues, churches and Mosques (yes Mosques) as atrocities like this one unfold.

Think of evil eyed bastards like Jihadi John, then think of the peace-loving Muhammud Ali, and the beautiful moderate 'Proud To Be A British Muslim' Nadiya Hussain.

These ISIS terrorists are not typical humans, they are subhuman, non human evil abberations.

Which is just why - despite the horror and the casualities - it is so important not to glorify these cowards by presenting it all as 'well organised', 'sophisticated' etc etc as some of the inept 'experts' are doing right now in 'knee-jerk reactions. These are COWARDLY attacks by a few well armed mad bastards on unarmed, unprepared CIVILIANS. Those terrorists in the theater could reload 10 times if they had wanted to because their well chosen 'enemy' were ordinary terrified unarmed civilians.

These bastards did not walk into Military Bases where heavily armed soldiers would have reacted within minutes or any such similar establishments.

Give me the same weaponry, the same willingness to die for their twisted cause (which IS their biggest weapon) and I could kill half the audience at most venues single-handedly.

They are COWARDS - organised cowards certainly, but cowards nonetheless.
