Did you expect Hughie to be such a firecracker when the show started?

I'll be honest here in stating that when I heard wind about The Others, Hughie was pretty much at the very back of the line for me. Natalie, Ryan and perhaps even Andrew just completely overshadowed him at the beginning, and I thought there wasn't a chance in hell he'd get to shine.

By the time we got to Day 4, and Hughie's perhaps already the most notorious of the Other housemates, if not also the main housemates.

So did you expect Hughie to be such a big character, especially so early on, or did you think he'd fade into the background like I initially did?

All of the others have exceeded my expectations. I love them!

I expected him to be a bitchy character but I didn't think he'd really make much of a mark. He's been such a pleasant surprise, a lot more likeable than I expected him to be and a lot more hilariously fiery too. :laugh:

Hughie has been the first Housemate of this series to get my attention in a good way with his "shut up! Just shut up!" Thing to Natalie as it reminded me of Linkin Park's One Step Closer song, especially the way he screamed it at Natalie.:joker:

And the Diary Room rant about her made me laugh too, first she was 50 then 45.:joker:

He is completely deranged. I had a headache from his tantrum tonight and Natalie is a bitch also. If I am honest I am well sick of 'the others' house now. Give Alex and Jackson back to the main house and throw the rest of them out the ****ing door

My initial impressions were:

Looks a bit thick
Will probably be dull
Is very orange

He also looked as if he'd be a bit volatile, but maybe that's hindsight!
