It's sad how dead this thread & BBUS forum has gotten. I haven't even been reading updates for weeks now either so I get the impression that the live feeds are absolutely dead like this thread. :joker:

I want Nicole to use the veto (won't happen) :(

I only would be okay with 3 people winning and that's Paul.Victor and Nicole

I don't like Nicole this season but I respect her as a player and I'm shocked at how well she has done. Getting called out so many times and still manages to not be put up for eviction.

I like James but he hasn't done much and Corey well

From most to least deserving of winning in terms of gameplay:

1. Nicole
2. James

4. Victor
5. Corey

^ Paulie's jury management was piss poor though and that's an essential part of the game. That's why I think if Nicole makes it to the final two she might not win. Although I still think she can beat pretty much anyone but James, and maybe Paul based on this jury.

Mokka
12-09-2016, 06:18 AM
That's one of the things Derrick did excellently... every one who left had no idea he was behind their demise until they hit jury... and then they talked...realized his game play... and he was the hands down winner no matter who he was sitting beside...because his game play and relationship building skills were flawless

True Nicole as a person is a mess but as a player she's played the best game this season and deserves to win

Who I want to win though, in order:

Macie Lightfoot

and Paulie played the same game Frank tried to play early on after seeing it blow up for him. IDK how that makes him a good player, as soon as people compared notes and caught on he just cried and tried to use the sympathy card.

Here for Nikki's 5th time appearing on Big Brother :clap1:

They could just save on her fee and cut and paste any of the four or five things she does or says repeatedly from any of her Seasons and i doubt anyone would notice (or care).
I wonder if it was purely coincidental that the BB Canada Season she was on was the worst one ? (I don't wonder at all actually and was just being facetious.)

More happened in 4 than 3, the feeds were way better (and they had Nikki ****ing Grahame), the cast was far better (everyone delivered and played a part whether you liked them or not), the power shifted more and there were few unanimous votes, the endgame was one of the best for a while despite the way it ended, there was less of an overload of twists, the list goes on :clap1:

I still feel the whole series would have felt less incomplete if Tim hadn't thrown Final 3

she doesn't even need to draft up blueprints, Derrick did all the work for her pre-show. BBTooms confirmed it over the megaphone and James has proved again and again he's too spineless to go against his pre-game stuff with Nicole.

Meanwhile, James is trying to tell Nicorey to pick which one is going home and Nicole's DEVASTATED because that's just not right and this is like the Hunger Games and deciding who eats the berries. I don't **** with Hunger Games but of course Nicole thinks she and Corey are the BB version of Katniss and Peeta. She's so ****ing basic.

Oh I wouldn't totally put it past James to bank on losing to Nicole and getting a cut of the money for sure rather than risk going to the end with Corey and not knowing how it's gonna end. He's entirely money-oriented and with Nicole he has some guaranteed in his mind. It's in Paul's best interests to get rid of Corey because Corey is the middle ground. Nicole or James win next HOH and they would 100% take Corey with them so Paul's done in that scenario. This way he stands much more of a chance.

Raph
14-09-2016, 09:49 AM
I'd actually be very happy with a Paul, Nicole and James final 3. A Nicole v Paul final 2 would be very interesting to watch actually. Corey is typical recruit fodder, he was never going to win anyways

And Corey has not pissed any of the jurors off well except Victor so why would anyone want to take him to the final 3 who is most likely going to win the final hoh or as you said get taken by James?

Exactly, plus Victor is going to vote for Paul no matter what anyway.

I think the fact that nobody is 100% sure who would win in any of these possible f2 scenarios is really interesting and will make for good viewing. I genuinely think any of them could take it depending on who makes it, probably most likely either Nicole/Paul though which I'll be happy with.

Corey would take James too so it's par for the course really, the only thing that matters here is who Paul could realistically beat and Nicole is by far the riskiest opponent, she has at least four votes on lock, to only need one more is way too dangerous.

Plus Corey isn't gonna win part 1 whereas Nicole (and James) stand a very good chance of doing so, better to only need to beat one than two people. And I'd say part 2 and 3 go to Paul if he's up against Corey, Nicole's much better at memory comps

DouglasS
14-09-2016, 02:24 PM
Yeah, Nicole is going to have Paulie/Corey/James on lock if Paul takes her, I think it's a really bad move.

I mean the only ones who probably would vote for Paul definitely is Victor and Michelle

I still believe Bridgette/Da'Vonne/Zakiyah/Natalie[who wants to vote a girl/may re-evaluate/talk to James] are on the fence with either one

Whereas if it was Corey v Paul

Corey would probably only get Nicole and Paulies votes

As both Corey/Nicole are going to 100 percent take James anyway, so why not get rid of someone who has a good chance of winning against you.

caprimint
14-09-2016, 02:33 PM
I hope all the girls see Nicole saying stuff like she wants to be the last girl cus then all the girls in jury will be pissed and vote Paul out of pettiness. :flutter:

Macie Lightfoot
14-09-2016, 02:33 PM
Part of me wonders if Paul burned all his chances by calling Michelle a **** (I know the c-word is kinda thrown around a lot elsewhere but in the US this is A Big Deal), but then again we live in a world where the show feels the need to have some facilitate a staged round table and berate them for thinking emotionally and not strategic.

caprimint
14-09-2016, 02:35 PM
Nicole evicted Michelle which is probably a bigger deal to her. Plus they seemed to personally dislike each other. Michelle is more of an emotional than strategic player so her vote will go to Paul.

Macie Lightfoot
14-09-2016, 02:38 PM
she's an emotional player so she's gonna vote to reward someone who called her a **** with $500,000?

Well she'll have to choose one of them if it comes down to that. I think she'll feel more bitter towards Nicole for ruining her own chance of winning the money and game (being a superfan as well) than Paul for calling her a name.

LukeB

Yeah Michelle isn't going to vote for Nicole ever lmao. It's like Maddy voting Kelsey to win on BBCAN4 it wasn't going to happen.

tbf I have no idea who will vote for who at this stage, it could go anywhere and the speeches/questions might change peoples minds. But all I know Michelle won't ever vote Nicole and Corey will vote Nicole and maybe Paulie will too.

caprimint
14-09-2016, 02:46 PM
Paul is gonna slay the speeches over any of Nicole/Corey/James so I hope it does mostly come down to that tbf :flutter:

Jack_
14-09-2016, 03:12 PM
I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that Michelle votes for Nicole, she's close to Nat who wants a girl to win and I too wouldn't be surprised if the '****' incident was a sticking point

The point is though that Nicole has at least four votes on lock (Corey, Paulie, Zakiyah, Day), factor in Natalie who wants a woman to win and thus Meech too and James who will vote with her, and there's a chance Paul only gets Victor's vote. And that's without even considering the hand of Grodner who could pull some Jessie/Jordan **** to ensure she wins!

It's far too risky to be gambling on a spread of votes like that. It's in all of their best interests to evict Nicole, not only based on the jury but comps too

caprimint
14-09-2016, 03:31 PM
Are Zakiyah and Da'Vonne really lock votes for Nicole over Paul or even James in Da'Vonne's case?

Jack_
14-09-2016, 03:37 PM
Day's said that Nicole's playing the best, and Zakiyah will just do whatever she and/or Paulie does let's be honest

I do think there's a chance Day would vote for James if he's in the F2 but still, the person with the most votes at their disposal is Nicole. It makes no sense for Paul and James to keep her over Corey, especially when you factor in the three parts of the final HoH

I joked a couple of weeks ago about imagining if Nicole went on a comp run towards the end and that actually seems to be happening :omgno:

LukeB
14-09-2016, 03:45 PM
It makes no sense to keep Corey either I mean I wouldn't take him because he's not in anyones bad books, no one is angry/pissed with him and he's only betrayed Victor who is going to vote Paul no matter what.

Day said Nicole is playing the best game but that doesn't mean her vote is 100% because sometimes it's all about relationships and Nicole has pretty much angered most of them with her betrayal.

If Nicole won the final HOH I don't think it's certain she's going to take James, she flipped her entire stay and she didn't want to put Paul up last week but Corey still did. Corey won't take Paul. Paul has a chance with Nicole.

Corey,James and Paul have a better social game than Nicole

yeah I'm reading updates from last night and it sounds like Paul wants to take Nicole to the F2 which wtf? He's been warned by like four different people that she's a snake, someone literally screamed into the house that she has a pre-game alliance with James, and yet he wants to bring her to the end where the jury is pretty feminist by BBUS standards (a low bar, but still.)

Jack_
15-09-2016, 01:48 AM
I'm just praying he's playing them both against each other so that they'll both take him to the final two. That tweet makes sense if he plans to cut Nicole if he wins part three but I still don't think throwing comps (especially to her) at this stage is a good idea at all

Surely he cannot be so idiotic as to evict James over her? It'd be up there with the Cody move :umm2:

Macie Lightfoot
15-09-2016, 01:53 AM
eh, I wouldn't put it past him. This entire endgame has just been people making bad moves over and over again so the winner is just gonna be the person who did it the least worst.

JerseyWins
15-09-2016, 01:58 AM
Pretty sure it's gonna go: Nicole/James win final HOH, takes the other one, & Nicole wins like 6-3ish which I'd be very happy with despite wanting Paul to win it much more.

It'll be a disaster if James wins against either one of them though (but I feel like he won't win).

Even if it's Paul's demise, I'd looove to see a Paul/Nicole F2 because 1) I literally have no clue who would win so it'd be suspenseful down to the last second and 2) then I'd feel good about the winner no matter what.

But I think he'd take James... that's definitely an easier win for him. Don't know if he realizes it though.

DouglasS
15-09-2016, 02:47 AM

Victor is definitelly gunna win AFP and Da'Vonne is confirmed a spot in the top 3 - it's between them two on twitter votes alone. The third person will likely be whoever is evicted next, as Natalie has lost quite a lot of her support, but of those in the jury Natalie/Michelle seem to be getting a fair amount of votes on twitter/facebook to maybe get 3rd/4th [Depending if people only vote for the jurors and ignore James/Paul/Nicole, not sure if that'll happen though]

I wonder if James/Nicole might lose some votes (if they come 3rd and become eligible) because they essentially might not be in the running for it and people will just vote for somebody else? I've given all my votes to Paul anyway just in case he doesn't make f2.

I would be satisfied with a Victor win, pretty much anyone but James/Da'Vonne of who is likely (especially after her recent jury episode with Paulie).

I think the votes will probably go

1. Victor
2. Da'Vonne
3. James/Paul/Nicole [Whoever comes 3rd place]
----------------
4. Natalie

I think James/Paul/Nicole would probably come second [and Paul/James possibly win] had they came out 4th, because as you said many people won't vote for them because they've made the F3 and would likely be a wasted vote as they have a good shot of being in the F2/ might not know they're eligable. They'd all definitely beat Da'Vonne otherwise.

I think the episode gone just got her a lot of exposure, and I think that will cemet her in the top 3, otherwise I agree that she wouldn't have been in the top 3 if this jury segment didn't happen and Natalie would have.

No one expected Jason to make the top 3 in AFP last year after not even making the jury, Da'Vonne definitely had a bigger presence than him in the show and had a fanbase and just had a massive argument with the most hated contestant this series, so I'm expecting her to be in the final 3.

James would probably easily win/be a contender for Victor had he been voted out, a lot of people don't vote for the F3, I'm not sure if third place has ever won since they started having the F3 make the finale night

That footage may have ruined her chances but I don't think she had a chance anyway, She's only popular by live feeders and twitter. John was favourite last year on twitter but James won.

I really want James to come 3rd, I like him but he does not deserve to win because he hasn't done anything at all.

Paul and Nicole would be my ideal top 2 and probs be my favourite winner since Rachel Reilly. But I'm glad no one as awful as Evil Dick is going to win.

Yeah I kind of agree that Da'Vonne could be in the top 3 after this recent jury segment, she'll probs get a lot of anti-Paulie votes too.

Natalie lost a lot of support after her bitch edit in favour of James so she could narrowly miss out on top 3, whereas I thought she would have been a lock at one time.

Victor will definitely win AFP, I'm sure of it at this point. If James doesn't make the F2 expect him to come second, and I'd say Natalie will round out the top three with Day bumped up if necessary

Are the winner / runner-up eligible to win this? I can never remember this stuff but I'm pretty sure someone in the final 2 has never even been one of the three in the running for AFP?

I'm not sure if this is because they don't get as many votes being in a position to win money already or if their votes become null when they reach the final 2?

The final two aren't eligible to win, the 3rd placer is though I think. Weirdly, these three could've potentially been the actual top 3 but obviously now only one at most will make it.

If deserving has anything to do with the AFP winner then i don't think anyone deserves it more than Victor. He's worked his ass off this Season!
I don't suppose that does have anything to do with it though. It's all about Favourites i guess.
If the way 'America' voted for the houseguests who they thought deserved the care packages the most has any bearing on it then it could go anywhere!
I do think that the way viewers felt about most of the houseguests back at the beginning of the Season has changed considerably at this stage of the game.

I really hope James or Da'Vonne don't get it.

I do feel Nicole might take Paul because she is a flipper. But I think Paul is doomed either way depending on how the jury feels. I think James has the votes to win.

because I honestly feel - Michelle(won't vote Paul for calling her a ****), Davonne (same season) Nicole (they had some gift deal) Natalie(obvious reasons) Paulie might vote James because he did applaud his social game. So that's possibly 5. :worry:

What did you think of Nicole's gameplay? It's the reverse Rachel Reilly effect. In season 12, Rachel was hated by America, but turned it around and everyone loved and rooted for her to win her second time around. For Nicole in season 16, she was a fan favorite, but this time, although she still has some fans, most super fans and alumni are extremely critical of her game.

Allison Grodner: She didn't get nominated the entire time until just this past week. She came to play. To go an entire season as a veteran where the spotlight and target are already on you and to make it to the end like this is pretty amazing. Instead of attaching herself to the girls, she attached herself to the guys and played with them and was an equal partner in the alliances. And I think they would say the same. And she won when she needed to win. She played a pretty strong game. It's hard to fault her.

Why do you think people do fault her though?

Grodner: I'm actually not sure. Rich, do you have an opinion on that? And maybe you know Brian. I've seen it. I've certainly seen the negativity about her online and I'm not sure why. It's hard to say. I'm not saying this is the case, but sometimes I look at how men and women are treated differently. There's a double standard in terms of them being an aggressive game player if you're a man and being applauded for it. And being a sneaky, 'backstabby' game player as a woman and suddenly maybe you're a bitch. (Laughs.)

Grodner trying to turn Nicole into some feminist icon the show desperately needs has to be one of the most hilariously delusional and infuriating things she's ever done. I'm not surprised at all but I'm still speechless nonetheless?

I think my favorite part is "Instead of attaching herself to the girls, she attached herself to the guys and played with them and was an equal partner in the alliances. And I think they would say the same." Of course that's why you like her Allison, no need to continue.

Anyway, I'm soooooooooooo ****ing happy this ****show is coming to an end tomorrow. I still don't think it's the absolute worst season, but it's surely one of the worst AND one of the least fun? The only positive I can take away from this season is the few days were Paulie unexpectedly got his comeuppance, but of course the show mangled together a sympathy edit for him anyway so.

Partly because of Murphy's Law and partly because I think this is suuuuper likely, my official prediction is Paul wins the final HOH and evicts James, Nicole wins by a vote of 6-3 or 7-2, and James wins AFP. I know I've said over and over again that I hate this final three and any scenario would be a bad one, but I think this might be the worst case scenario.
