I think Bronte held them together really. I know it didn't really hurt Paul by not voting Victor out, but I don't think Natalie would want to be the only person to keep Bridgette if it came down to that because then she'd be for sure targeted next. Depends what the plan is decided as over the next few days.

I don't disagree, but I think the general thought process behind it is making the others think that they will be willing to align with them and do what they say. Allies have already formed, so technically the same people will be targeted despite how they vote most likely - but I suppose they think that is what gives them the best chance of being 'accepted' in their group.

Like okay I get why they'd not want the newbies to emulate the actions of 15's HGs but fgs at least it was a season with some semblance of strategy and drama as opposed to 16 which literally just encourages people to form a mass alliance and never deviate from it, vote with the house and shut down any drama which may rock the boat

16's successful because there were so many ~WACKY~ and marketable characters that went far, apparently we're supposed to care deeply about Frankie and Donny and Zach and Caleb and Devin (?!?!?!?! the fact that he was approached for TAR is astounding) and somehow we're supposed to idolize the Hitmen as some revolutionary alliance that did the unthinkable when the Brigade and the Renegades and Chilltown already exist????? whereas BB17 had Da'Vonne (who really wasn't that special and the show still thrived plenty without her), Audrey, and Jason (who... smoked a pack a day and made fun of the twins being fat??? the myth about Jason being robbed with untapped potential and one of the best prejurors ever literally makes no sense in any sort of way) all went prejury so production panicked and Moonves declared the season as a failure O_O

BB16 had like... four or five people who were good in the context of that abysmal season but that's it. BB17 had possibly the most star-studded female cast of all time with a pretty solid supporting male cast too? idk, it's BBUS, we know this show makes no sense.

Although I'm guessing maybe the BB16 feeds were like BB18 and that's why people hate it. They did a decent job with the show edits if that's the case.

yeah, like everyone tries to discredit Derrick's win by saying that the cast was dumb and nobody was playing the game and it was the easiest house ever (and like, yeah the BB16 house was exceptionally dumb at the time but a typical BBUS house these days has half of the cast fully inept at least) but this is absolutely true with Paulie. He's openly cocky to an absurd level. He has too much pride to be beat so he either wins Comps or drones on about how he threw it. He parades his preferred boot list to everyone. He gives critical pieces of information to people he doesn't even have discernible relationships with (which you would think even a dumb house would at least consider using this information against him). He's ****ing with Zakiyah's emotions just for fun and literally ****ed her in front of others as some sort of ownership. He volunteered to be nominated as a pawn for absolutely no reason. He's had the worst case HOHitis for six weeks straight now and is retroactively taking credit for Jozea's boot.

I don't know, like sure he "deserves" his win in the sense that he's the only person actually playing a game, but his game really is wastefully excessive and he's made a lot of mistakes that nobody decided to capitalize on, because this is a house where nominees don't campaign to save themselves and people don't fully consult with one another before voting and people don't even try to make deals with HOHs. Like, Bridgette literally thanked Frank for nominating her and pulled him closer. It's a creepy metaphor for how this entire season has been going.

Praying the veto is the morphed face one because Michelle will know it. I hated her a couple of weeks ago but now that we're left with this dire bunch, she's one of a few that I can root for.
