You don't have to buy Photoshop, there are free trials and stuff on the net for you to try it out. And I'd say to start with Paint Shop Pro or something, its an easier version of PS. Has the same functions and everything.

Paint.NET is free and it's kind of like PS but just really......crappy I guess! LOL. Thanks for the advise, I'm downloading the free trial of PSP now. :spin2:

lol, its kinda the same, its just positioned a lot different to PSP. It has the same stuff and more, like selective colouring which is great for graphics.

Theres this effect on my photoshop that puts a glow around stuff, then to make it bolder I multiply the layer, then it gets stronger and stronger :) x

I think it's good obviously, but it looks.. blurry? and I think it's a pixelated layer? It kinda looks like a CCTV camera.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's amazing, I'm just not a fan of the effect on the banner<33

Yeah, I tend to find the banners I need to change I forget to save a PSD to :\ but most of the time I do.

I made this just, I know its nothing special but its my first selection using the pen tool, I used to just use the eraser of mahic wand to get rid of the background lol;
