Dont seem to be a thread for either show.

Casualty is really going downhill at the moment, they need to axe Jacob, Robyn and Alecia and build some characters up like Elle and David a bit more as they have potential.

Seriously Dylan and Lily are the only 2 making me still watch and Dylan is criminally under used

I really like Alecia and I am glad to see Duffy back with Charlie, I don't think it's going down hill at all and actually I expected to struggle after losing two of my favourite characters back to back (Zoe and Rita) but I think the series is strong right now.

I do agree about Robyn needing the boot though, the receptionist Noel needs to go too.

Holby City bosses are bringing back the popular character of Frieda Petrenko, Digital Spy can exclusively reveal.

Olga Fedori has signed up to reprise her role as Frieda for a six-month stint and will be back on our screens at the end of the year.

Viewers can look forward to seeing Frieda's comeback scenes in December, when she returns to work with Jac Naylor at the request of Elliot Hope.

Little more is known about what to expect at this stage, but there are bound to be fireworks on Darwin with straight-talking Frieda back on the scene.

What ever the case I am loving Holby at the moment, Casualty is still hit and miss with me, Dylan is the only character keeping me watching it, and they kinda ruined him with this smuggling the kid into the country storyline. Reruns on Drama in the morning are so much better, never seen the nick jordan years so loving them

Zoe and Lily definitely need to return. I hated Rita so she can stay out.

Yeah Connies turned into a nasty cow, she used to be funny with it. They have RUINED Ethan's character totally. I'm interested to see why Sam is back as a paramedic as it just seemed like it was another way to get Lily out. Jacob is terrible idg why he is there. Robyn is criminally underused and needs more. Alicia has potential but they're making her a bore. The new guy is funny and good comic relief for the absense sense of Lofty. Max isn't even really in it any more. Charlie is getting really boring and needs something else, don't see Duffy much either. Dylan was ruined with the Sanosi storyline. David is **** and needs to go.

I'm a few weeks behind (3 I think) because I just lose interest. I stopped watching right after the helicopter crash because it just got samey and then when I heard the stabbing storyline I thought I'd watch again to see what happened. Was gutted Cal died but decided to carry on watching. Enjoyed for a bit, but now finding it a chore again. Bit bad enough to stop watching, but bad enough that give it another 6 months and if it really isn't exciting then I'll stop again.

Agreed, been terrible lately. Dylan is the only character keeping my interest. I am still pissed that Ethan is still working, let alone potential clinic lead, he let someone die, granted it was his brothers killer, but he lives by a code, he should be dismissed and arrested straight away, and Connie helping him is ruining the character.

Rita was AWFUL , we all ready have Robyn, why ruin it even more with Rita, the actress was terrible, a dead cadaver had more acting skills, and the character was annoying.

Sam's return could've shaken up the show a bit, and I appreciate that Charlotte Salt's been limited in how often she could record due to her baby, but she's barely interacted with anyone... least of all Dylan :idc: Which is stupid, considering he's in such a bad state right now, Sam could play a part in his storyline

My reasons for the death being Sam are.. sorta a stretch lol. Like, her death is gonna affect Jacob, Blake, Ian and even Ruby (since Sam became softer towards Ruby and more of her friend.) You COULD argue that Dylan's gonna be affected (maybe that's why they haven't bothered with more Dylan and Sam scenes? Because they want Dylan to feel sadness/regret over not talking things out more? idk like with the focus on his face in front of the explosion I can't help but think it'll be Sam. Obviously his reaction is jsut shock because there was an explosion right in front of him but I doubt they'd have
that scene included if say, Ruby died because Ruby and Dylan have spoken like, once. idk how to put my thoughts into words but basically, I doubt they'd show us Dylan's reaction to the explosion in particular if it wasn't someone he was close to dying

also there seems to be a heavy emphasis on Sam breaking the rules, doing as she wishes, and her pride (In a recent ep she looked at her medal? She certainly has more of a focus on her army work and bravery than Ian does). Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I worry this means she's gonna be reckless and go ahead with a really life-threatening decision and die :worry:

she's nailed this storyline. She was superb in every scene she had. From the little moments we see of her deeply affected by what happened to her to her superb acting last night :flutter: The confrontation between Alicia and Eddie felt so great, even if the way it concluded was AWFUL (poor Alicia :bawling: but Eddie getting sent down for what he did to Alicia that night was probably the only way he'd get his comeuppance (he deserves worse but still) since I highly doubt he would've been convicted of rape :worry: :bawling:). Alicia's panic and distress and crying all felt so real :love: Alicia's solidifed herself as one of my favourites

No it seems from the trailer that Ian wasn't paying attention to the road and drove into something. I think he shouted 'no' because he saw the impending crash and didn't want Ruby (or Alicia) to be any more hurt by being stood and reaching into the cupboards above Alicia.

At around 0:23 we see Ian with a covered body (alicia? :fc:) and a blonde paramedic (I'm leaning towards Sam, but WHERE'S RUBY?!?!?!) running away from what seems to be the start of the explosion (I'm certain there's only one since the explosion seems to come from the truck which is by the fuel tanker and we see an explosion behind the fuel tanker milliseconds before the massive explosion)

The actress, best known to soap fans for playing Claudette Thomas, has joined the Casualty cast in a semi-regular role.
