:flutter: I agree with this. especially compared to the current state of BBUk and the BBUS version(which i do like) BBcan actually feels like a big brother with live feeds and stuff. BBUK now is a mess, so much information from the outside world,hardly no live feeds and it feels like another version of The Only Way is Essex/Geordie Shore/Ex on the beach that type of stuff.

Last year was definitely a big improvement on season 3, however the UK season last year was the best season of all 3. Hopefully this season will be good, something similar to season 2

okay, episode 1 initial thoughts:

- What was up with Neda hugging the vets then assuming it's an international season instead of introducing herself to the newbies? I feel like she's gonna have the biggest fall from grace this season. I mean during my rewatch of BB2 I realised she was the weak link of the Jon/Heather/Neda/Adel group cos she's essentially just a strategy bot but in female form. She totally believes her own hype and it's not cute.
- Karen is absolute GOLD already and I hope she lasts. Literally every time she's on screen she's a hoot. Like a modern day Lori Olsen. I have high hopes for her.
- I kinda really like Emily already. I think she's a lot of fun and y'all have been sleeping on her since pre-game.
- Whatever the Sindy/Ika beef is I wanna see it and I pray it brings a hitch in the inevitable Vet alliance.
- I'm not giving up on Mark as a character. His VT seemed horrifically painted into things the producers obviously wanted him to say so I'm giving him a chance beyond the jock/showmance based VT.
- I'm more excited to see Dallas return more than anyone else. Shoot me.
- The twist of someone automatically reaching jury is clearly just the beginning of the inevitable rigging that BBCan will bring for the vets. I mean I loved it for the Fembots in BBCan3 so I'd be hypocrite if I was against it but just... the rigging in BB13US made the season a bit exhausting to me and I wouldn't be surprised if this season had the same effect.

I'm not really sure if I liked the premiere or not. It felt quite lackluster in comparison to the others I've watched, like, even BBUS did the returnee thing better than BBCan in terms of making the concept appear exciting.

It definitely has potential though, and I'm quite excited to see what the feeds are like. I'm already living for Karen, and I'm so glad Sindy is safe with an S.

Loved the launch, ugh a spaceship theme :worship: The cast are great although Mark "I'm definitely open to a showmance" can leave, and I don't really get why Dallas is back (I don't mind him I just didn't think he was that good/memorable/likeable to be a returnee).

Neda seems really interesting and I loved that pretty much the first thing she did was assess the situation and the competition "are you internationals? Are you new? Ok got it!"

- What was up with Neda hugging the vets then assuming it's an international season instead of introducing herself to the newbies? I feel like she's gonna have the biggest fall from grace this season. I mean during my rewatch of BB2 I realised she was the weak link of the Jon/Heather/Neda/Adel group cos she's essentially just a strategy bot but in female form. She totally believes her own hype and it's not cute.

Neda really isn't that special lol. I mean I liked her in BBCan2, but what is there to say about her other than She Played A Very Good Game?

I thought the launch was kinda boring lol. The move-in took WAY too long and once again I agree with LemonJam about my skepticism regarding the ~Time Warp~ bc it's just way too tacky and Grodner. I'm such a hypocrite when it comes to rigging because I was HERE for the Chevrolet Power Shift of 2013 but part of that came from the fact that the show was actually doing the unthinkable and rigging for Suzette. Wake me up if this show ever hits its stride and comes even close to the greatness that was BB1 or BB2!
