That was a very average episode. Two in a row for me after a strong start. (satisfying results-wise though with Joe finding an idol & a whatever Ali boot)

2 idols on the play with Mike and Joe each having one.

5 original healers (Joe, Mike, Jessica, Cole and Desi), 4 original heroes (Ashley, Ben, Chrissy and JP) and 3 original hustlers (Ryan, Lauren and Devon) left in the game.

If the sides are Heroes vs Healers, it makes sense that both sides are going to try to recruit the remaining Hustlers, since they are the obvious swing votes in this case.

I´d guess Healers are gonna stick together and Heroes could get Devon and possibly Ryan with Ashley having a good relationship with Devon and Chrissy having a good relationship with Ryan and the earlier bonds with Ashley & JP and Chrissy & Ben. And Lauren could go with the heroes too since Ryan and Devon would maybe do so. So it´s potentially a 7 to 5 split for heroes.

But both original healers have the immunity idols so that could change things if both of them use it.

Cole´s a target according to preview and the girl target i guess is either Jessica or Chrissy. Maybe Ashley because of her bond with JP, but i don´t know.

It´ll probably go into a completely different route though. Ryan wants JP gone bad, so he could flip it somehow. And he might get jealous of Ben´s relationship with Chrissy.

Oh yeah I didn't really think about that. So it might be 5 healers vs. everyone else since basically all those others have actually kinda bonded well. (Ashley & Devon, Ben & Lauren, Chrissy & Ryan, and obviously the bonds for the original tribes)

oh I don't disagree that our challenges have been trite as **** for the past ~5 years or so, but A) so was this one, and B) they haven't even had that much time or opportunity to import other challenges from Ausvivor since the show is still in its infancy stage.

Mike still has an idol. If they get another (They most likely won´t though), they can protect two of their four. If they get Lauren, it´s 6 vs 5 instead of 7 vs 4. But i don´t think Lauren is going to do that since she thinks she is with Ben right now.

Also I don't think Mike cares that much about the healers especially now that Jessica is gone. Mike will probably survive the healers massacre whether he uses his idol or not but I'd say definitely at least 2 of the 4 healers will be going before any new group changes. :( And they'd have to get a very lucky idol play for this to not happen at the next two tribal councils.

Yeah, considering the finest display of Chrissy's excellent social game this episode was her deciding immediately upon meeting Joe that she hated everything about him, it might be best for her to leave that one off her resume™ (along with Ryan leaving off the fact that Desi and Ashley lasted 1100x longer than him in the challenge oops)

That merge episode was very entertaining which was especially refreshing coming after a few episodes that were more on the boring side. The end result taints it though and doesn't give me too much hope for the rest of the season but eh we'll see. At least if Joe didn't waste his idol it'd be a little more interesting but as it stands it's going to have a predictable finish with the wrong side prevailing.

I watched all the episodes the past couple days. Are people not enjoying it? Because I think the cast has been great. Very strong male cast for once.
That being said, the boot order hasn't been that great. Patrick and Alan both brought entertainment, Simone seems like she could have been really funny, Ali was pretty rootable, and gonna miss Jessica the 30-year old virgin who KISSED A MAN's CHEEK ON NATIONAL TV

Ben is awful, which is a good thing because I've had no strong opinions on anyone this season so it's about time I had someone to even root against. Joe is literally the only remotely interesting player, this season is so average it hurts

I agree almost entirely with that. Although I've enjoyed a decent amount of the episodes but in very average fashion (like average-good episodes, can't complain too much but can't get excited over it).. "average" is just exactly the way to describe this season. I don't have too much hope for the end game either so idk.

The last two episodes have actually been solid to me but with disappointing results (saving grace of the result last night was Joe getting to stay especially since I thought he was a goner for sure once the votes split)

Joe is a top notch caliber character for me though. :joker: A long run from him somehow could keep my interest as he's the main one keeping my interest in the season now.

I think this season is definitely better than 30, 31, and 33, and I'd say 34 too. The boot order hasn't been ideal, but the only truly devastating boots to me have been Alan, Cole, and Jessica. Let's not try to kid ourselves and pretend that this post-merge is lacking like... more Roark or more Ali or something like that.

I don't think Pagongings are automatically bad, and I don't think this one as awful because we're still getting interesting content within the episodes, the boots haven't been edited very predictably, and the edit is not perfect but pretty balanced. And while I don't particularly like the Round Table, I think the dynamics between the seven of them are developing in an interesting way.

It was very clear that Cole would go as soon as he didn´t win an immunity and now he´s gone. Mike wasted an idol so he´s in a bad spot. Thankfully for him, Joe´s more hated and a strategic/immunity finding threat, but if Joe wins an immunity, he´s obviously gone.

i honestly like 33 31 32 and the order can easily change also 35 is an okay season but we were robbed of Ali and Jessica </3 34 is mid-bottom tier season and i would like to forget 30 exists.

Overall since season 25 i have enjoyed at least somewhat every season except 30

This season really isn't that bad (it's not that GOOD either but it's not that bad). I enjoy the episodes probably like half the time despite some of the boots and the predictability of the season. However, I'm expecting a grim finish so I still don't have high hopes for the season as a whole. Mainly Joe keeps this season afloat. :clap1: Next week could easily be his demise tho :worry:

Will be interesting to see, if the 4 we saw in the preview revolt against Ben tonight. Only way i can see it, if there is another immunity idol to be found, Joe gets it and Mike wins an immunity, so they are both safe.

Don´t think it´ll happen though as Lauren and Ben are buddy-buddy and he still has a good relationship with Chrissy.

It could also be that since Ryan has been dishonest to both Ben and Devon about the immunity idol that they could try and get him out?
