Not sure what his partner was thinking of with that routine in a waltz. Aston did his best with what he was given, no serious mistakes.
If he gets to the dance offs how do you judge a bad routine done well (him) against a good routine done badly...his likely contender.

Every week except for Chizzy, the dancer with the lowest scores have been eliminated. This makes me speculate that Ruth would be eliminated had she not jumped on top of Anton at the end (I now take back my previous comment about Ruth not having much enthusiasm)
After Ruth, it’s Aston. However, I think the public will be horrified and shocked, so they will be like “Oh my bollocks, we must save him! Oh dear Christ in a Costcutter! I’m ringing up at least 20 times!” (Not an insult aimed at Aston stans, but come on, this is probably pretty accurate, and people will react like this whether they are diehard Aston stans or not) So he’s probably safe.
After Aston, it’s Gemma. I can’t think of anything significant about Gemma’s dance, as good as it was, which makes me think that Gemma’s time is up.
Sorry Gemma stans.

All I care about it watching the individual dance routines, so I just watch YouTube for that .

If either drops into the bottom two they are probably gone. This week might be the exception.....Janette has stitched up Aston with a comic wig and a few dodgy moves. Either it is sabotage who she forgot it was the Vienese Waltz.

Aston Alexandra and Debbie are all great dancers but have a massive advantage with their past experience in the 'business'. All three of them KNOW they are good but Alexandra pisses me off the most because she's always got that pathetic 'shocked' expression every week when she gets high scores...:fist:

tension between Mollie and Alexandra, no way it's Gemma and Alexandra you are talking about ;)
Mollie gets along with everyone else of the celebs and pro dancers, she rehearses for 12 hours every day, and for what to get undermarked

I don't think he was particularly disliked. If he goes a lot of unfortunate circumstances have collided. A strong dance off contender, inept choreography, not really on people's voting radar ( assumed to be safe).
Alexandra has definitely not endeared herself...histrionic reaction to her 39 score, alleged feud, looks glum quite a bit etc.

We'll never know if Colin Jackson would of won thanks to that crazy birch and her mad spanner in the works. Darren Gough would probably still win as he even beat Zoe Ball but who knows :nono: .
Jeanette should be ashamed of herself , from what I saw of Aston's previous dances things were going great and were so amazing. Yes it's great how people find the results funny until their favourites get kicked out then they're blubbering like cry babies  :idc: .
Mollie won't win , Ruth & Susan are getting to Blackpool but they won't win .
Continue to support the corrupt rigged show , every year good dancers get kicked out and the judges contribute to it to save their favourites  . It's never been a fair competition , the producers are all in on the fix as well .
Aston was a threat so they got rid of him I hope they're pleased with themselves I find the whole thing pathetic and I laugh at them :laugh2: .

Mollie and A J performed perfectly on the dance off.
Aston did much the same as the first time they danced it.
I still say neither Mollie or Aston should have been in the last 2 this week.

The bottom 2 on the leaderboard were Ruth and Anton, Aston and Janette so they should have been there and they were.

tension between Mollie and Alexandra, no way it's Gemma and Alexandra you are talking about ;)
Mollie gets along with everyone else of the celebs and pro dancers, she rehearses for 12 hours every day, and for what to get undermarked
strictly is a entertainment show now for me, me not gonna worry, stress, cry anymore now, producers and judges decide who wins and the winner of strictly come dancing 2017 is............ Debbie & Giovanni mark my words, it's their fave who wins

I'm over it , I just think back to other deja vu horrible moments like even years ago when Gabby Logan got kicked out  and she was one of the best dancers, Anita Rani got deliberately kicked out by the judges who could of saved her but they instead put useless smug Anton & clumsy Katie Derum in the final ! Anton lied his way through and kissed the judges arses :bored:.
So this isn't new , every year there's some injustice and there always a WTF moment ! . The judges have their favourites all the time.
Aston was underscored AF !!! , people didn't bother voting that's the harsh truth . Aston needed a miracle to stay in the competition , while being so bottom of leader board . I bet even if each fan voted 1,000 times each it still would be touch and go as he can't compete with Ruth & Anton's endless support. .
I'm gutted I didn't vote for Aston but now thinking it through I doubt I would of made a difference  .
I still can't get believe that Aston has been eliminated, he was top 3 all along and they should never have let him go. That Shirley dame who made the final decision is corrupt...and why the public haven't got rid of the dreadful dancer who is Ruth yet is beyond me. Ruth still there and Aston gone - wth?

As much as I like Mollie, Aston was by far the better dancer throughout the whole series so far and shouldn't have been let go because of one weaker performance. I hope she isn't back next season.

well you are as good as your most recent performance, and this was Aston's weakest dance, wrong choices with the choreography, hairdresser, dentist dream sequence of Janette's kiss hand
Mollie had a more technically difficult but more beautifully gracefully danced foxtrot, also everything suited the theme, 1940's the outfits, music and style of the dance
thanks for liking Mollie, and she needs more votes from now on, just do not rely on others for voting for her, and i actually am grateful for Craig and Shirley making the right decision even though they would've known about the negative impact
so just don't blame Mollie and let's give her a break from this awful dance off for 1 week okay
A dance off is a stupid idea in the first place. It means someone who has been consistently terrific for weeks versus someone who is less talented can get voted off due to a small mistake or having one off - night. Madness.
The person with the lowest votes should go, no matter who it is, then people would vote more for their favourite, as they know they can't rely on the judges to save someone who has been brilliant throughout. It's a fairer way to do it.

I think it was the worst thing to have a dance off , it's inconsistent and redundant as the judges don't always save the better dancer :bored: .
The judges have too much power and seem to get a high from having someone's fate in their hands :notimpressed: .
I honestly think the dance off and judges final decision has lost its original path , Len supported this new format because DJ spoony got kicked out years ago purely on the public vote and he had potential.
But I think Len himself was too sure of himself that this new system would work , that is until Gabby & Penny found themselves in the dance off and they were 2 good dancers .
So I think it's pointless as most the time a good dancer or 2 good dancers will always find themselves in the B2 and it's not a nice thing to choose from.
And it's frustrating and annoying making the celebrities dance again to prove themselves .
So I think they should bring back the public vote as the decider , and I know atleast 2 other forum members on here feel the same way.
Maybe it will encourage more voting and give people a wake up call who knows :idc:  , and it's straight to the point no messing about.
I also miss the time limit we use to have to vote which use to be alot longer than flipping half an hour  , just think the difference if people had more time to vote.

But clearly Ruth is the worst dancer , this happens every year when bad comedy dancers get saved . Last year Ed balls lasted a while as well
 .

Tbh Gemma is very mediocre and her Saturday performance was disappointing and lacked technique and the lifts were clumsy  .

Ruth and Susan are clearly topping the votes and won't leave any time soon. So all the good dancers will go.

Im not like some childish people who gloat and laugh at others expense :nono: .
When Mollie goes then she goes I'm not going to make fun of that  .
She doesn't seem to be getting as much support as I thought she would though.
Mollie has a decent fanbase but most of them aren't voting though
it's also nice of Mollie and AJ keeping a low profile on social media this week, just avoiding the whole Aston shocker chaos, and it is chaos with mollie getting the blame by some bitter people :(
so hope they are just laying the focus on the paso technique, and hopefully she'll do better this week, or better she has in fact done really well with the dancing, her cha cha wasn't a dance disaster which was also good
only her week 1 jive which i didn't like

Brace yourselves. All the good dancers will go one by one. Ruth and Susan won't go. And neither Alexandra and Debbie. So do your maths.

oh well, producers will be disabling the voting lines on purpose to get rid of the ones who they want to get rid of this year
cause last year Ore won, and he was a public fave, and the year before Jay won another public fave
so this year is the year of the producers fave :fan:
poor Mollie, she's also a victim of the producers :(

another week for us, i feel positive, i want to keep having positive thoughts for my faves Mollie & AJ, Joe & Katya
based on training footage, Ruth should go out i think, pedestrian walks at least Susan has staccato tango content, and Ruth also having least amount of training hours cause of her family and loose women
still cannot believe Ruth had more votes than Aston, but usually after a shock exit one of the weaker dancers does leave, so i'm praying ruth will finally go home

Ruth should go, if she is in the bottom two.
Nicky91

susan will open the show with her tango, okay no gimmick and a slight chance she'll be forgotten by the end of all performances then
but ruth should go, her pedestrian walk is back, i saw on ITT rehearsal clip, that pedestrian walk was from the first weeks

I am still gutted that Aston was eliminated last week and annoyed we didn't get to see his Samba this week and Jive in Blackpool which would have both been amazing I hope they do what they say and record them anyway. I watched the show since the beginning but Aston being eliminated was the worst. But since Aston being eliminated he is now opening his own dance studio in January with his girlfriend and close friend in London for children.
Even though it will be hard watching the show without Aston I will be rooting for Debbie & Giovanni loving their partnership and also rooting for Davood & Nadiya, Alex & Gorka, Joe & Katya and Gemma & Aljaz and really hope that isn't one of these five eliminated tonight

I see Brendan has waded into the debate about the trained dancers needing a handicapp. Referred to Debbie, also probably means Alexandra. The gap this year has just been massive...Barcelona vs My Granny's 11 if it was football. Guess he has got a point...trained ballet dancer vs Rev Cole etc.
