Ok I'm actually gonna start this already.

CBB16 Launch

I'm actually liking the UK vs. US theme... excited for this already. :clap1:

I think sometimes I just write about each houseguest even if it's just "they're ok" or whatever but this time I'm just gonna comment on who stands out and catches my attention (good or bad).

Diners :clap1: (are diners really not a thing in the UK? :suspect:)

Fat Man Scoop... :skull: Idk he could go either way for me (he's maybe even my cup of tea on paper) but he's actually coming across a bit annoying on first impressions. :think:

So on second first-impressions of Austin I gotta say I'm still not liking him but it was a kinda funny antagonist entrance / interview. :joker:

Sherrie telling Austin he deserved to get booed for saying UK customer service sucks in his VT lol.

Gotta say out of the first 6 that have entered, I'm not particularly loving any of them. Sherrie might be my fav right now and I didn't bother commenting on her VT/entrance heh.

MESSSSSS @ the reigning CBB champion Katie Price spoiler. :joker: :fist:

Make that the first 7 I'm not particularly a fan of. :think: Jenna was ANNOYING in that VT. (and interview)

I'm liking Stevi & Chloe though. Look like a nice fun couple. :clap1:

Farrah is pretty and possibly/probably likable but not seeing much personality at all atm.

Ahaaaaaaa Tila Tequila :love: Is it bad she's the one celebrity I know? ..... she used to eat cockroaches as a child? :skull: :yuk:

Natasha: Farrah's not coming because she was a sore loser.

Episode 2 Day 1

Lmao I'm loving these 3 in the tower (Farrah, Scoop & Daniel). :love:

Austin just acts too... idk I guess "whiny" for me. I'm already not getting the sense that this will change. Like in this DR about Farrah... however part of that DR was honestly pretty funny so I'm feeling like his only chance to redeem himself for me is to be charismatic enough which I've seen he can be. :think:

Farrah vs. Natasha ... decent little first semi-blowup :love: Farrah really just keeps getting targeted and/or looked down on for no reason.. I don't think she deserves it.

Also ok I think I might stan Scoop after all. :joker: Again, loving this trio in the tower.

I was 50/50 on James' VT (somewhat funny but somewhat douchey) but I'm liking him a lot very quickly in the house within 2-3 scenes. :clap1:

I don't want to speak too soon on short first impressions BUT I can't stand Jenna already. She just seems like a total bitch... and a very boring & overly serious one at that.

This James/Tila brother/sister convo. :love: Make that another scene James has been great in. Definitely one of my faves if not maybe #1. :clap1: (Tila is adorable too, loving her attitude)

Btw since it keeps coming up.. does anyone know: How bad was Farrah on the teen moms show? :joker:

Natasha: "She's just not even given me a chance" @ Farrah ... I mean tbf this could just be on the editing team BUT Natasha and Austin seemed to have just judged her and not given her a chance from the start?

Bobby seems great! Very goofy funny VT :joker: The Rocky intro music is perfect :clap2:

Janice is... ok; possibly "blegh". I'm a bit bothered that she tried to make joke after joke in her VT and contrarily to Bobby, none of it was funny. She seems fine though in this competition / in the backyard at the end of this episode.

Good start to the season. :clap1: I feel like this might end up being a polarizing cast as I'm already starting out with pretty strong opinions on quite a bit of people right away. I'm not positive about that statement (or even positive on these early opinions) but that would actually be a great thing if true because I want to have characters to actively root for AND against.

Natasha was so insincere. She claimed that Americans are false and two-faced, yet she was the one who bitched about them constantly and only confronted them when they confronted her. It's pretty contradictory, not to mention that the most brutally honest housemates this series were American, such as Farrah, Jenna, and Austin. But not Janice :love:

Episode 4 Day 3

Daniel predicts Day 8 comes the eruption. I'll keep my eye out for that episode to see if he was right. :joker:

Omggg Janice is such a child about Jenna's fridge. :skull: Lmfao @ Jenna saying that it's her own food because she only eats kosher so they set it aside for her and Janice says "ok" *takes a bite of the celery she took from Jenna's fridge while maintaining eye contact with Jenna*

Lol @ Stevi & Chloe-Jasmine basically being attached together and it pissing off Farrah & Jenna. I did notice Chloe's even sitting on Stevi's lap during every task. :joker:

Episode 5 Day 4

Austin > Janice in this argument over him being provocative :joker: but meh @ this in general, not caring for this argument from either side.

Farrah is starting to get kinda annoying. :worry: She's gotten a bad attitude lately for little to no reason and also a weird random beef with James who doesn't do/say anything bad to her. :joker: I mean I don't dislike her but she's not as great as I was originally thinking. </3

"You're not the queen of reality... I AM! :oh:" :joker: Now that was Janice being funny. :joker:

I was with Austin again in this big living room blowup BUT he went too far on Farrah tbh with the fake tits & ass comment.

Now Janice says Farrah was being provocative lol. Provocative = the word of the episode?

Hmmm idk... in a way Farrah is hilarious to me though. But now it's sort of in an ironic sense.

There's actually SO much of the cast that I have mixed feelings towards now that I think about it / after watching this latest episode. So another cast update is appropriate:

Christopher Biggins was seen as a UK national treasure and easily one of the most famous names entering CBB18 and they still removed him within the first week for his horrible discriminatory language. No matter how big a name you are, if an action is as severe as spitting on someone, then you'll of course be removed. I get the thing of 'oh they change the rules any time they want' but I don't think they'd be inconsiderate enough to keep someone in who SPAT on someone. They have the footage and they'd get nothing out of lying about it. Spitting is spitting. Doing a motion that looks like spitting isn't worth a removal.

I usually don't like Jersey's opinions but Farrah was a central character of her series like her or not so she's obviously going to get written about. Natasha was a background character for a large portion of her series like her or not so therefore it's harder to be writing updates about her

-I like Natasha because she brought that nasty Farrah down a peg a lot! (Even though James argued with her way more and was way more argumentative with her than Natasha ever was)
-I like Natasha because of how she took on the nasty Jarrah duo! But she was still quite mature with them (Even though James was much more notorious at having a love/hate relationship with them)
-I like Natasha because she's honest, down-to-earth and the STAR of her series! (Even though James is the one who openly accepted turning on Austin and nominating him, had and was constantly trying to improve more defensive and vulnerable housemates such as Stevi and Farrah)
-Natasha is putting all the Americans in their place! (Even though James is the one who was much more common at arguing with American housemates)

Basically everything that Natasha gets praised for i'd argue is something James did much more commonly and much more fluently than her moody arse ever did.

Bear,Perez and Hopkins did the most on their series but the ones with the less screen time were still better housemates and Farrah is just as overbearing and one dimensional as them and also disgusting.

I'm not gonna argue the 'boring vs vile' case. Can definitely understand either side and even as someone who was intrigued by Farrah, I can completely understand why you hate her and hold her on the same pedestal as those horrible people you listed before her. BUT I think objectively speaking, Farrah isn't necessarily one-dimensional if you actually think about her. She's always cautious and always fragile about everything, takes everything to heart, and if you look closer she never directly starts an argument and only involves in one if she thinks someone is arguing with her. Obviously can see why someone of her demeanor isn't for everyone's liking but she's far from a one-dimensional housemate and was pretty all over the place in how she reacted to everything in the way of someone completely unique from everyone else.

Gail reminds me a bit of CBB18 Katie except Gail is nicer, probably more fragile (which not automatically a good or bad thing but it's so sweet with her), and just overall better. I liked Katie too though, hence seeing some similarities.

I didn't watch much of CBB18 because of Bear but Katie crying over Amy Winehouse :love:

I'm surprised it took them 6 years to get her on the show because of how hated and controversial she was on X Factor (she didn't even do anything wrong lmao)

Episode 9 Day 8 Live Eviction

Despite being pretty nasty a lot of the time I can't help but find Farrah amusing... however her attitude is particularly ****ty AND offensive this whole episode so far especially this entire segment at the dinner party. :skull: It was a task but that was way too far regardless if it was even fully acting.

This cast is not very good IMO? As in, I have some problems with most of them.... but it does work. They're making things interesting. Atm this season is #4 for me though behind CBB19-17.

Cast-wise it kinda reminds me of CBB18 when I'm doing my rankings. A few I strongly like and most people that are just kinda whatever (or hit & miss). But I'll take Bear, Heavy & Marnie over James, Scoop & Chloe aaaaaaaany day :hehe: (not that they're comparable, just happen to be my top 3 of each)

I feel like now I keep saying this but the cast just really isn't captivating enough for me to get me hooked. Chris is the only UK one that truly sucks IMO. Jenna is far from an angel but he just got way too nasty about her over this. His attitude as a whole is not only bland but it just kinda consistently sucks.

Episode 17 Day 16

Can't believe I'm only half way through. :skull: I kinda like this season, it's for sure way better than 20-21 but almost definitely worse than 17 & the others I've seen. However, it feels like it's taking forever to get through it :joker: The thing is the drama really isn't as fun as it's been in CBB17-19 for me.

The pre-eviction stuff... especially between Austin & Jenna :joker:

They look like one big happy family after Farrah & Jenna have gone. :joker: Hopefully it gets really good when they enter back in the house lol. :fc:

Episode 20 Day 19

I might've missed why this came up earlier in the episode but lol @ things kicking off between Austin / Chloe / Bobby over Chloe staying in bed during the toast for Austin's brother. I don't really blame anyone in this argument. Don't blame Chloe if she has an alcohol problem and wasn't feeling well about it that day although she should've made an effort to be there for his dead brother. Don't blame Austin for getting really upset about it since it's something very personal to him and is obviously tough. Bobby eh maybe he should've stayed out of it but he was fine too. This felt so sudden though since this original moment was from at least a few episodes ago. :joker:

Those noms were ****ing TRAGIC and it would've been way better if Farrah and Jenna's noms were official ones, meaning a Sherrie and Bobby double. Or at the very least I wish they nominated Janice like they originally planned so she would be immune and then Sherrie would be up. I didn't want any of those noms to go but I would've been more accepting of it if only one of Scoop/Gail went alongside boring non-existent housemate Sherrie.

And i completely sided with Chloe-Jasmine in the Austin argument. There's being upset about someone not attending a toast, but there was absolutely no need for him to spew personal vitriol at her, like replying to her desperate pleas of forgiveness by calling alcohol a disease with 'It's NOT a DISEASE :rolleyes: '. And I guess in the definitive sense it isn't but it still looked high and mighty to decide to still judge someone for their alcoholism and not just excusing them for it like he should've. James, Bobby and Janice all tried to calm it down but he was still relentless against her, even after she was regretful about it. He has every right to be upset but he crossed the line with someone as vulnerable as her.
Eh I don't think Austin came across perfectly but I think it was understandable. I side with Chloe in that moment as well, however originally she really should've thought about the situation and went out to toast for his brother regardless if she was feeling poorly or off that day. Still, she felt bad and apologized so that's all she can really do. I totally understand Austin getting really upset about the situation though so I can't blame him either even if he was possibly downplaying Chloe's alcoholism problem.

I don't think Chloe really owed Austin anything? It would've been nice but she doesn't know Austin's brother and Austin really never made it much of a secret that he didn't like Chloe so she's not a stakeholder at all, and SHOCKINGLY Austin really just made it all about himself so.

I mean they're in a house together and it's not as though Chloe and Austin don't get on or anything... So I don't think it's wrong at all for Austin to be annoyed/upset that she didn't show respect. If she had an issue with the alcohol she should've explained it but instead she just didn't bother or make any effort at all.
This... it didn't take much effort for her to either get out of bed for a few minutes for a toast or explain this to Austin at the time. She doesn't know Austin that much or his brother at all but still it's common courtesy especially when the whole house is doing it.

Personally I wouldn't take it the way Austin did but I don't blame someone for that or reacting the way he did when Chloe was a bit selfish and uncaring (although I think unintentionally tbh).

For some reason I like the Austin/Janice relationship of constantly being at each others' throats, bantering with each other etc. and then apologizing/forgiving each other afterwards and rinse and repeat :joker:

Well I literally typed that before watching this Austin apology to Chloe and now Janice is being odd during this :skull: But lol it basically turned into another one of those Austin/Janice moments :joker:

Janice isn't anywhere near as bad as I was originally thinking. She can actually be funny at times but still sometimes she's EXTRA in a cringey or annoying way, which isn't so bad though. Overall I'd say I kinda like her at this point. :clap1:

Oh I didn't know this was the twist for this eviction. 4 will be saved and the rest battle it out :worry:

I agree with the people in the bedroom thinking Janice is the only one sustaining playing a character tbh. Surely she is? :joker: It's just strange and hardly believable at times in a bit of an off-putting way which is what I was referring to in a recent post where I said she can be "extra" sometimes... if this constantly sporadic behavior is genuinely her that's pretty funny though lol.

More Stevi/Chloe issues :laugh: They might be the highlight of the season for me :skull:

Sherrie's birthday = her big break?

Farrah did bring some entertainment to the season even if it wasn't always fun to watch or appealing. She was particularly entertaining around the very beginning, I actually thought I was going to like her a lot at first. She's kind of a dip**** even in this interview though. :joker:

Lmaoooo @ Janice sabotaging the US team and pissing her whole team off in this task :laugh2:

The US team clapping together in the direction of Janice when the UK got a question right because of Janice yelling the answer out :joker:

Jenna mad about James picking Janice instead of her :facepalm: Although it's understandable that she's mad about the whole situation with her best friend in the house going but it's almost like just another instance of her needing to hate on somebody.

A continuous arguing/beef between James & Jenna (w/ Austin) this episode turning into them two talking about James never dating an American girl :joker: & then a triple spooning session between the 3 :skull:

I think Jenna & Austin are off with their theories of why James kept Janice. If anything I'd think he did it to strategically make sure Farrah goes BUT I don't doubt that he's genuine about the reasoning he gave them.

It would've been funny if James picked Jenna and Chlevi picked Janice though. I wonder who Austin picks to save then between Bobby & Farrah? :joker: I'm GUESSING Farrah because he was starting to get along with her plus team USA but idk he did have his issues with Farrah as well. :laugh:

I also did like Austin's DR rant about Janice being the big manipulator of the house (among many other things / explicits) :laugh: A few choice of words were too far but a funny little heated rant there that I was expecting to come after he seemed like he was boiling in that moment Janice took the letter from him lol. Austin's anger varies a lot for me between being annoying or funny to watch.

Big James/Austin blowup that actually seems a lot more serious than it usually is :omgno: I think I kinda side with Austin overall on this though because James does always tell Austin when he's wrong even in a situation he thinks he's right in but then just defends others without the same right/wrong approach. Maybe it's because I'm tired but in a way I didn't enjoy any of that drama this episode aside from certain little moments (that I probably commented on here) being kinda funny. I'm getting kinda disappointed with this season, there's basically no characters I've been able to get behind fully and it makes the drama and series as a whole feel empty or something.

Alluc was my go to site for everything and I had to find another place to watch BBCAN. The episodes on videobrother aren't as good quality as the Openload ones via Alluc. :(

Although tbf I looked at the next episode I have in CBB16 and the quality still seems great :clap1:

Oh they're good for BBUK episodes, especially the older ones.

But the quality of the BBCAN6 episodes seem less sharp to me, I think they're in 480p, whereas on Alluc they had 720p.

Episode 26 Day 25

Oh hell yes I love when they reveal the DR footage for nominations :flutter:

Janice yelling to Chlevi afterwards for who knows what reason :laugh2: (in support of them, that people have to go through her first to get to Chloe basically is what I'm getting here lol)

Austin (and some Jenna) vs. Natasha :joker: Natasha does have a point, Jenna & Austin can't take another opinion very well :laugh:

Now James vs. Austin & Jenna lol... things are DEFINITELY kicking off this episode. And in a more entertaining way than I've usually seen this season. :clap1:

Episode 27 Day 26 Double Eviction

Austin/Jenna talking with others again about James strategically voting threats for nomination or what not. I don't really think so at all, I feel like he means his reasoning because he kinda consistently shows it in his conversations.

Why is Jenna saying "well if me and Austin go, watch your back" when the final nominations already happened? :joker:

Jenna going first is perfect :clap1: Janice going second is pretty shocking to me :omgno:

Although thinking about it, it does make sense that Bobby would stay I guess as the only UK person up for eviction. Austin being the sole survivor American. :joker: Austin & Janice make sense as the last two Americans as sort of the two focal points from the American side (aside from maybe Farrah as another focal point).

I gotta say, I'm not like a big Janice fan or anything but she was a pleasant surprise after a not-so-fond start for me. I had a slight general liking of her towards the end. :clap1:

Emma: It's gotta take big BOLLS!
Janice: No it's not BOLLS. I don't have BOLLS. :laugh2:

Episode 28 Day 27

Oh ffs @ Janice dancing/twerking in front of the camera & nearly mooning the camera at the beginning of this episode :skull:

Each team between the US & UK have to pick someone from the other side to answer questions.
*Austin & Jenna say Sherrie is the most boring and Janice disagrees*
Austin: So who do you think Janice?
Janice: I think I'M the most boring!
Austin: *fed up, not having it* That's not a possibility
*Austin & Jenna object to the way Janice is acting and say she's just acting this way to look good with the public*
Janice: No I'm not
Jenna: So you think you're the most boring?!
Janice: No actually I think YOU ARE Jenna. You're boring me to tears.

The difference in emotions :joker: :joker: :joker: This season I did like how the US team could never get along and cooperate, especially in tasks, and usually because of Janice :joker:

Episode 29 THE FINAL

Bobby using his... morning wood... to hang his hat on :skull:

6th place - Sherrie (makes sense, thank you to the British public for not having one of those weird 3rd-4th place results that happen often)

5th place - Chloe & Stevi (so ROBBED)

4th place - Bobby (yup he should've been the next one to go of the 4 :clap1: ... he was pretty disappointing for me I was hoping for him to be a lot funnier in the beginning)

I felt like this would be the F3. I don't remember if Austin gets 2nd or 3rd place though. :think:

3rd place - Natasha (eh makes sense, she wasn't that much of a focal character)

So this means James wins as I was suspecting. I like it but even while being one of my top favorites throughout, it's not the most thrilling win. :think: I almost would've preferred an Austin win despite liking James much more. :laugh: But idk I don't think an Austin win or a Natasha win or anyone else really would've been all that either tbh, just a lot of results I would've been content with and James probably is the best one to win this season.

I gotta say though, a Chloe & Stevi win in that final would've been epic for the lolz. :joker:

Omg it's been such a long time that I almost forgot about the James/Tila early moments until just now. :love:
