So Bi wasn't medivaced, they just said it was her decision to leave, I suppose she was worried it would get worse or she'd just be a sitting duck. That's happened a couple of other times this year on the AU and NZ version where they very much stressed the competitor decided to leave than was medivaced.

The thing nobody mentions about Natalie is that while she is very bossy they all do what she says, I don't know if that's because they are just weak or if they still some kind of respect mixed in with the hate.

My, what an absolutely stellar episode of modern Survivor that was :love: In recent years I've never had the slightest hope that a regular episode would be edited so well, let alone one which features three tribes, two challenges, an entire mf'ing evacuation and an epic boot to, er, boot, so I was really impressed with how it all came together. Obviously losing Natalie Cole aka Natalie Napalm aka Natalie Can I Have Your Jacket Natalie is a tragedy the likes of which Shakespeare would sheddeth a tear at, but her OTTN legend will live on forever (and where there's a chance of Heroes vs. Villains II ever happening, I'll hold out hope that The Natalie Cole Experience has another few chapters to come yet) :love: :love: :love:

I was most impressed, however, by how many fun, personal character moments they managed to fit into one of the most tightly-compressed 42 minutes I've seen in a while: from the establishing of the Brochachos to "get my black ass outta here!" to the I'm-sure-now-already-iconic Jabeni jacket saga to

this episode was a delight to watch and it's very rare for me to say that about post-Kaoh Rong (post-SJDS?) Survivor. Like Troy, I'm still optimistic about the future of this season because of how strong the cast is - and really I should be crediting them with the sheer amount of fun character moments this episode before the editors - and I'm not even concerned about Former Fatty Dan v.2.0 having two idols (because the edit is treating him like the adorable joke he is :love:) or the existence of Nick (because of... erm... reasons (http://oi28.tinypic.com/nb84k8.jpg)). Anyway, I've yet to check edgic or the confessional count for this episode, but my gut instinct tells me that everyone got a confessional except Carl (yes, even Alison, who has now had just enough screentime for me to be more than 75% sure that she isn't Janet from The Good Place appearing in some bizarre cross-promotional exercise), which, again, what have you done with the real Survivor, Probst? Hmm? Hmmm?

Also the fact that the Jeremy/Natalie feud is continuing in the post-game interviews (Natalie blaming her failure in the game on Jeremy causing her severe back pain by trying to cripple her during the first IC :love:) and there are now several extra layers to the Angelina/John/Jeremy story and not to mention all the Instagram drama (last time I checked it was Dan vs. Jeremy, which... lol sure why not) is just the icing on top of the egg for me

WELP I did not expect that vote-off, I even had a whole post written up ready about how Mike is one of the worst survivors ever and all his 'deciding vote' eps have been so predictable and one-sided.

WHY couldn't he have decided to be Goliath strong last ep and kept Natalie </3 Lyrsa surviving last week was all for nothing smh.

Anyway Elisabeth's meltdown was a scream, and I'm overjoyed Angelina stayed (although it was really dumb of Nick to vote her off).

BUT I'm super excited for this merge episode because I can see the alliances going many ways however I expect more of a David-based group to prevail. (like a Nick/Christian/Mike type of core)

I don't mind the Davids getting an edge post-merge but I'd still love to see the Davie/Carl side of things come out on top (assuming they would start out on the same side as Nick/Christian/Mike etc.). Maybe even Gabby being a mess at the merge and flipping everything upside down... that could be gold too and then anything could happen. :laugh:
