Sian is really overrated out there, but Freddie at least can be funny and has some idea of the game compared to some of the others. The newbies are there to be picked off and that's normal on reality shows. I think they could have started with more but didn't have the confidence to do so with the new format, hopefully if it comes back they make it a larger project, this was like an experimental run.

Overall predictable blocking of Ryan, Mairead and Precious.

I know not everyone likes them - but I LOVE the cliffhangers. The production is on fleek, as Alex said :laugh:
Mairead was hilarious but she did try too hard at some point. Dan's face when she came to his apartment was a picture!

I think the context of this show is important though, if it were Big Brother I'd probably like Sian but the interesting thing about The Circle's premise is the potential for catfishes and it has been since the start. If there were 8 real people in there what would the point in the show be? May as well just stick them in the BB house

She doesn't have a storyline though! Anything she's been involved with has been the product of others doing (Precious taking offence towards her/Scotty flirting), aside from that she has for the most part literally just been ~there~. Alex - like all the catfishes - automatically has a storyline through virtue of them being catfishes, i.e. will they get away with it, and most importantly (the biggest part of the whole show) the anticipation for their reveal to another player.

The series hasn't had enough catfishes/fakes, and although it seems inevitable it's going to be pretty disappointing and a bit of a waste of time when one of them doesn't win. In fairness I have the same sort of issues with Dan and many of the others, but they don't annoy me like she does from time to time

Freddie and Sian are my two favourites because
Freddie - as much as he is SO annoying sometimes, he has BY FAR played the game the best. I know Alex is much more of a catfish, but because of that he’s also very boring. Watching Freddie lie his way through, scramble in situations such as the football one is brilliant TV imo and he does make me laugh a lot.

Sian - She’s the realest imo, she’s had her funny moments and her arguments but always says it how it is and is therefore still loved by everyone. She’s the best ‘real’ person I think and if anyone who’s not a catfish is going to win, it should be her (not Dan)

Dan for me is just arrogant and snakey and I just don’t really warm to him

I don't think the program is about being real, and if someone's real is probably means they are less nice I guess. I think Sian has depends a lot on the alliances that Freddie establishes and his gameplay.

Sian gets a lot of girl support on twitter they see her like a girl next door who they can relate to but who has model pics as well. And the other women in there just haven't lasted, so there's very little competition there for her. But I definitely don't think she should win.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Sian wins it, as she's the eternal influencer. Her only possible competition is Dan, and I'm really up for it. Harry doesn't stand a chance. Freddie could come as a surprise, but I don't think he'll have enough in the ratings. Kate unfortunately won't win the 50K but she stands a good chance winning the public vote by a landslide (Sian or Dan might have a chance, but I'm not so sure about the level of support).

I would love a Dan/Kate triumph, but I'm OK with Sian winning it - she might not be my fave, but I think she's done well in the game, which is a pretty much what The Circle is all about.

Sian really had no competition for her place in the game once Aiden went which was kind of boring. Alex was always keeping more in the background as a catfish, and the newbie younger women were always there to be picked off. The Precious storyline seemed rather forced and fake for me, Harry was probably meant for her after Scottie was dismissed. It's just seemed too easy for her with Freddie on her side and others not playing much of a game.

Overall I want Kate and Freddie as winners. Freddie just did more and Kate had one of the toughest tasks and pulled it off pretty well for a first series. The public vote is likely to be more along sympathy vote lines for Dan or Sian. The players vote is hopefully more suspenseful than recent votes have been.

I'm glad Harry went. That was like so awkward, him calling out Freddie like that! I mean, I'm straight, but I always thought it was bad manners to ask, and assumed if the person wanted you to know (or if it was relevant) they'd just tell you. It's not like they're going to have sex while in the Circle! So it was like so irrelevant. It is interesting how hard it is to keep up as someone who you're not, though. Freddie and Kate have both said some pretty stupid things, but that horse woman going after Dan, that was way too funny.

It's hard but with a game about deception impossible. I do think the producers wanted a slow reveal like Space Cadets, three of the newbies immediately said Kate wasn't real (Harry, Mairead, Scotty), the emoji game starter for Kate was a giveaway.

Dan wasn't really tactical enough. Sian is simply overrated, people say she is more 'real' but she has deceived like all of them have at some point, like when she told Kate they had made up while sticking up a finger up.

It is a game about deception and Freddie's was obviously meant to be part of the game as presented to us. I suppose he did go into the lads chat to heavily push he was straight, something Sian didn't know. I didn't like Harry, but more because he was put in for a showmance.

I do think that as it's a Jury Vote as such, the blocked players should have been sequestered. There's potential for them to be swayed against people due to the lies they told when the aim of the game is to be the most popular within the circle. They're gonna end up voting for the most inoffensive player now.
