the jive is Giovanni's favourite dance, so yeah i also expected a bit more from him in terms of choreography, this week was the road to blackpool, and upping your game, taking risks is good at this point in the competition especially when judges have high expectations of you

viennese waltz isn't that easy (forward turns, reverse turns, fleckrls, pivots) so Lauren did a good job, and got very deserved positive judges comments, Craig was right this was the first time she actually danced (in which he meant it like feeling a dance for the first time)

so yeah i hope she can keep this up, somehow i do think she might, confidence is good for athletes, and she's really getting more and more comfortable on the dancefloor and in the training room

Paso (character improvement) Jive (first high energy dance from her) and Viennese waltz (which was by far her best dance to date technically and performing wise beautiful)

i feel like producers screwed her over big time this week, everyone else has a showy dance with backing dancers, and she gets the argentine tango which you know won't cover the entire floor unlike everyone else who has a good dance for that huge ballroom floor :notimpressed:

i want to give a middle finger at those producers at screwing AJ over yet again, like last year when he wanted AT for the semi final and he got the dreadful samba instead cause producers knew Mollie's weak spots was with the party latins

hope so, Lauren's training clip you could easily see it was early training day just walking through the routine, and making mistakes in training isn't bad, then you can still work on that for saturday night bc that performance only counts

i have faith for Lauren tomorrow night, that training clip shown for Ian wasn't the routine, but just going through some steps (which is important to practice it first a bit, especially with a difficult dance as the argentine tango, so i think he and the at expert were seeing what she can and can't do on that day) they had full at rehearsals from tuesday and onwards


i think a intimate, sexy, romantic passionate AT can be nice for variety between many of the uptempo dances which might look a bit frantic, all over the place

Stacey's salsa training, armography looked messy, it was nice seeing her do a lot, but she did do too much according to Ian, (kevin also said he would throw everything in this performance)

Charles was flat footed, but his hip action looked okay, still if he is flat footed on the night he will get downmarked for that

Graeme looked surprisingly good (for someone who has no theatre experience) but i think the theatre/jazz experts Craig and Bruno will no doubtly wanting to see a great performance without flaws from him, and rightfully so since it's week 9

Joe's quickstep training looked okay-ish, i don't think the gapping should be in a quickstep, the backing dancers do that because it is Dianne's choreography


Faye's Paso training looks good, i hope she will extend her arms the best she can, especially since she has the right posture for this dance

if Lauren does well i'll cheer for her, if she doesn't (not the end of the world) i know she has a good fanbase, she has been in the bottom regions few times already and public saved her back then, and she thanked them by giving us 3 good week of improvement now, public saved Kate after a bad argentine tango, as this dance is a fan favourite, every strictly fan knows this dance is very tricky, so all Lauren gotta do is try her best, if she does well also with the judges that's an extra present i think

There's only about 7 to 8 votes re the judges votes..it goes from the highest to lowest with 1 to the one last and it will be 8 for the top choice.

no not at all, she has shown improvement the last 3 weeks, and i thought she gave it a good attempt at such a difficult dance which is the argentine tango

i am proud of her for working so hard in training, and Craig with that 5 i was like WTF i was fuming at that :o
