the reason AJ acted surprised when he got Lauren, was just because he was expected to get Katie, Stacey, Ashley one of those 3, but he definitely feels the Chemistry between him and Lauren, and they had a bit of training hours yesterday, he said he's Lucky to have long arms so he can support Lauren with her disability, and she will be facing him closer to his face, which is also good to show the Chemistry more on screen during the performances

she's going to Australia now for the competitions and she'll be back in time to rehearse for their week 1 dance, and no one leaves in week 1 anyway so at least not that added pressure either yet, and when they have to prepare for the week 2 dance she can put in all the training hours she'll need


and from the other celebs he likes Joe a lot, Joe actually inspired him to also make his own YouTube account, and doing some backstage vlogging for this years strictly


and he also had some nice words to say about Faye, that they (him, Lauren and Faye) had been seen going to rehearsals together

Lauren being world champion paralympic triathlon now really is a good positive confidence boost for going into strictly :flutter:


i heard volta's being mentioned for susannah and anton, during strictly the best when they shown us training footage of this years line up, so maybe Samba for them in week 1, or a cha cha with some different cha cha techniques :think:

they will start off simple, yet slow/romantic with the waltz, but also simple because Lauren is a complete beginner for this

and today he is gonna pick her up from the airport, then they have tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday's studio rehearsal, so enough time for a simple/romantic waltz i guess :love:

Lauren is a hard working girl, she wants to be treated like everyone else, those first steps vid wasn't that bad at all, a good top hold tbh, for someone who wasn't fully committed to strictly yet, now she's back from Australia she is fully committed to the dancing and wanting to improve herself week by week, and i just hope no showmance rumour at all for AJ this year, this year should be about the dancing and his teaching skills for him, and also just turning Lauren into a dancer :hee:

and he's doing the live tour :dance: same as Giovanni, Gorka, Graziano, Neil, Pasha, Oti, Amy

yeah but they gave good constructive criticism and ok maybe Darcey, Shirley should've given a 7, but still if she can pull this off after just 2 days of training, well we should be open to surprises from her and AJ, for what they might pull off with more training hours

yeah, Joe was a good laugh and surprise of the evening last night for me, i gave a 7 because i didn't want to overscore him myself :)


i gave Susannah a 6 because she did give effort to the difficult dance that is the samba, and i thought anton was worse than her, she was still better than Ann Widdecombe who didn't give effort at all in her performances

i hope Salsa, since that would be a safer choice to go with for week 2 i guess, since she does know some traditional salsa techniques, different from strictly version of the salsa but still, maybe that could be nice some traditional salsa technique and good difficult lifts
