Based on Brooke's confession.

I usually do but sometimes I feel like I don't need to on some days so skip it :p

Usually every couple of days. Only wash my hair twice a week too, which I think will horrify some on here :D

I don't shower everyday, I have eczema and it gets really irritated if I wash myself too much. My average is probably every three days or so. I wash my hair twice a week for the same reason.

Yeah every day for me but I'll skip a day sometimes so mostly like 6 times a week.

What was Brooke's confession btw? Just that she doesn't shower every day? I don't think it's much of a confession/problem tbh, I just personally feel greasy if I don't do it.

Well most people perspire/ sweat at least once a day ... going to work or when actually working and many sweat when they sleep maybe without even knowing ..

Stale sweat is a no no .

I'm one of the lucky ones .. a bloke who doesn't sweat much at all but as I say .. still shower morning and night

Once a week is plenty, you don't want to be constantly washing off your natural oils that protect you.

I get that too. It's the added chlorine etc that irritates, especially when hot water opens up your skin pores. Nightmare.

A decent shower filter reduces loads of chlorine. You feel the difference. They cost about £50 but last me around 2 years and well worth it.

Research what's best for you, but here's a good place to start:

Yes but out of wanting to more than necessity. I don't NEED to shower more than once every two days (unless I've been doing something physical) but I enjoy showering so it's every morning. I also feel like I've not woken up properly until I shower... Feel lethargic all day if I don't, but that might just be because it's such a strong habit? I can also just stick my head under and wash my hair and that "wakes me up" just as much as a full shower, so it's probably a placebo effect :joker:

Could be a sweaty day at work or you could have went to the gym

I have a water phobia, so showers are a total no go for me unless I can take the shower head off and have control of it

Maybe she prefers baths . I think a soak is nicer .

But if she's worried about her fake tan ,then maybe she shouldn't wear it all the time.

Every day at least once, twice usually in the summer.

Same, I can't go without a daily shower and without two during summer. It's mad hot in Southern France and I wear a suit every day even in summer.
And imagine sleeping with somebody that doesn't shower every day, ew.
And same goes for brushing teeth.

Once a day but if I'm not leaving the house I'm not bothering, so sometimes it can be 2 or 3 days

I genuinely can't start the day w/o showering, and don't really understand those who can. Will shower again if I'm going out in the evening.

at least once a day. even if i dont go out & about. i also like some feel better/woken after. cant say if you dont do nothing you dont need to. even if i dont do much i every so often have a slight hint of stank when i wake up. also some people have that condition where they have to shower a few times cause they get bad BO even just not doing much. that would suck. i knew someone that had it. cool dude but felt so bad for him.

I shower every second day. I have problems with my ears and the specialist said showering every day is not good for any skin problems

Unless you're doing something really dirty like working on a building site or something, you really don't need to shower every single day.

Then again, I used to work with a rather large guy who would sweat a lot so maybe that too.

You're that husband who shouts the wife and asks if she wants to get in your water after you've got out the bath, aren't you? ;)
