They are both amazing actors, when Jeff started in Corrie he had a comedic role, he has moved onto a villain role with ease

Oh for sure. I didn't think you were one of those stupid people on facebook and twitter who seem to think that because Geoff is being so awful to Yasmeen and the story is uncomfortable to watch that the actors are awful. :laugh2:

The storyline between Geoff and Yasmeen is quite gripping IMO. Comparing it to Gray and Chantelle's storyline on EastEnders I think Geoff/Yasmeen are playing their parts super well. The abuse is very evident but with such an abstract/ambiguous execution that I am enjoying keeping up with the toll its taking on Yasmeen AND the drip-feeding of suspicion in characters like Cathy and Brian who kind of suspect something is up but are not sure how to approach the whole situation without crossing boundaries.

Really ridiculous scripts.
Even some of the actors seen hard pressed to do convincing performances.

The end of the Yasmeen and Geoff storyline was just totally and unbelievably bad.

Sad to have such a landmark of 60 years, with, for me anyway, at its very worst of storylines.

They have based it on a true life story of a couple who were attacked in similar circumstances a few years ago. Its hard hitting but stuff like it happens. I think they are doing a good thing highlighting what kids who are different face every day.

Although I hope they do not focus solely on it as we still need some.lighter stories too

I'm just watching now and it was really horrible to watch the attack but it's true to life sadly. I love Nina, they've let her slowly fit in and find her place and she's by far my favourite character and last nights episode was great.

I really hope the culprits get caught out and someone speaks up, Corey is disgusting and that skank Kelly needs to die like her dad.

If that storyline doesn't win awards I will be so shocked. The performances from Abi, Roy and Nina especially have been so good.

Fair play to the writers too for handling it so well, let's hope they resolve it just as well because the Geoff storyline ended in a whimper.

I agree to an extent but he never asked Asha to go to Nina's bedside and try and confuse her after having surgery like she did.

Asha chose to do that all on her own.
