Hmm... what do we think? Do TiBB want blood? Jake and Calderyon both scored a point for Fawkes (the only shared answer), so... do they have another 21 points added to their scores?

Fawkes was the last to stand on the scaffold. He asked for forgiveness of the King and state, while keeping up his "crosses and idle ceremonies" (Catholic practices). Weakened by torture and aided by the hangman, Fawkes began to climb the ladder to the noose, but either through jumping to his death or climbing too high so the rope was incorrectly set, he managed to avoid the agony of the latter part of his execution by breaking his neck.

It's a tricky grey area... not known if he actually intended to commit suicide or it was an accident caused through the execution process. I'm on the fence on this.

Niamh.
25-08-2020, 11:01 AM
I think leave them off, he was on his way to the execution so it caused it indirectly anyway

Shaun
25-08-2020, 11:03 AM
Pointless, Ammi, it doesn't matter if he was executed or not for Top Answers  it's just a question - with Pointless - of if it's a correct answer or not. I think since he died whilst being prepared for execution (literally in the seconds building up to it), it's a fair answer, but I can see why some would argue it isn't.

Niamh.
25-08-2020, 11:03 AM
...I don’t understand why they would have 21 points added...?...is the TA or Pointless..

For Pointless, it has to be correct so you'd get the maximum score for a wrong answer

Ammi
25-08-2020, 11:05 AM
...let the answer go I think...but would they not just have had 2 points added..?...I don’t get the 21 point bit when they were the only two who said him...

Shaun
25-08-2020, 11:06 AM
Just to clear things up Ammi, if, for example, I posed a question:

Name a colour

and, in Top Answers, 20 members huffed something questionable and all gave the answer "Mutya Buena", they would still all score 20 points for Top Answers in that question. If they did the same in Pointless, it would be incorrect and they'd score the number of points per participants in that round.

Ammi
25-08-2020, 11:07 AM
...but anyways...no, no arguments I don’t think...it was a really fair answer...either way, it wasn’t Mr Fawkes day that day, it was the death of him...

Shaun
25-08-2020, 11:07 AM
...let the answer go I think...but would they not just have had 2 points added..?...I don’t get the 21 point bit when they were the only two who said him...

There were 21 players in the last round, so if anyone got a wrong answer they get 21pts.

Like with the TV show, Pointless, the "wrong" score is 100 because they ask 100 people their questions.

Ammi

Yeah, just 1 point though because it'd be framed from the point of view of "I scored 1 point because 1 other player said the same answer as me". Or, "I scored 7 points with Boris Yeltsin because 7 other members said Boris Yeltsin", etc.

Niamh.
25-08-2020, 11:11 AM
...oh so it’s not how many people have that specific answer...as in 2 points for that answer because bot Jake and Cald gave it..?...

They would get 2 points if it was a correct answer, you're penalised for giving a wrong answer (21 in this case as there were 21 players)

A bit of a disaster of a round for most, but well done to MTVN and our runners-up, MB and Jake :clap1:

I did think of people like Ann Boleyn for the famous person executed in the UK Top Answers question, but I put Ruth Ellis because the I don't think the name United Kingdom was used back in the times of the other names given.

Celebrities

1. Name an ex-husband of Cheryl Tweedy
2. Name a TV show with "Celebrity" in the title other than "Celebrity Big Brother" (or its spinoffs :oh: )
3. Name a winner of Strictly Come Dancing
4. Name someone who is famous for being a "WAG" ('Wife and Girlfriend' of a footballer)
5. Name a famous cat
6. Name someone who has presented the UK daytime TV show 'This Morning'
7. Name a celebrity who died in 2016
8. Name a (present or former) cast member of 'Made in Chelsea'
9. Name a gossip magazine that is, or has been, in circulation in the UK
10. Name a celebrity whose first name is John

For the Pointless edition: most of these questions are pretty open and there shouldn't really be a problem; for Made in Chelsea they must have appeared in at least 2 episodes. For question 2 it must be an english title. Otherwise, this is a lot easier than the other rounds, I think!

21 sets of answers this time, so each incorrect answer is worth 21pts!

Okay, so when I conceptualised this question, I was under the wrong impression that she had briefly married Liam Payne as well, so I didn't realise there were only two answers :( but at least this gave me the wonderful mental image of a Cheryl Barrowman power couple (I assume something went wrong with thinking of famous Johns, TM, but sorry, I couldn't reply in time before the round ended). Ashley Cole, the more obvious answer, gets more points; presumably because most of us couldn't be arsed typing the other guy's name  Ashley scores 11pts, other guy scores 7pts.

2) Name a TV show with "celebrity" (or an abbreviation of the word) in the title, other than CBB

Shaun - Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice
Mitchell - Celebrity Showmance
Cal - Celebrity Scissorhands
Niamh - Celebrity Playhouse
Ammi - I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here
Strictly Jake - Celebrity 5 Go Barging
Nicky91 - Celebrity Masterchef
Calderyon - Celebrity Duets Arab World
Rob! - Celebrity Come Dine With Me
MB - Celebrity Lanes
AnnieK - Celebrity Wipeout
Cherie - Wide Awake: Celebrity Insomnia Exposed

Tony Montana - RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race

Decades of poor programming means there are very, very few points to go around here. If you weren't pointless, you only escape with a point.

Niamh - Kelvin Fletcher
Ammi - Joe McFadden
Strictly Jake - Stacey Dooley
Nicky91 - Darren Gough
Calderyon - Darren Gough
Rob! - Aljaž Škorjanec
MB - Matthew Cutler
AnnieK - Natasha Kaplinsky
Cherie - Laura Main
Matthew. - Jill Halfpenny
MTVN - Kara Tointon
Liam- - Abbey Clancy
Black Dagger - Mark Ramprakash
Denver - Tess Daly
Smithy - Kelvin Fletcher
Jake. - Kara Tointon
Tony Montana - Harry Judd
Babayaro. - Joanne Clifton
Jessica - Chris Hollins

Plenty of celebrity winners here, but the sensible options were to either name a professional dancer they were paired with, or name someone who won a charity or Christmas special. Once again, only the 1pt of damage can be done here.

4) Name someone who is famous for being a "WAG".

Shaun - Abbey Clancy
Mitchell - Tanya Bardsley
Cal - Federica Ridolfi
Niamh - Tatjana Batinic
Ammi - Coleen Rooney
Strictly Jake - Christine Lampard
Nicky91 - Mikky Kiemeney
Calderyon - Antonella Roccuzzo
Rob! - Ana Ivanovic
MB - Izabel Kovacic
AnnieK - Shakira
Cherie - Ria Hughes
Matthew. - Carly Zucker
MTVN - Annie Kilner
Liam- - Paige Milian
Black Dagger - Michele Lacroix
Denver - Rike Nooitgedagt
Smithy - Georgina Rodriguez
Jake. - Victoria Beckham
Tony Montana - Abbey Clancy
Babayaro. - Toni Terry
Jessica - Fern Hawkins

I naively believed naming one that won SCD would throw others off the scent but I guess it ended up being the only shared answer :inamood:

5) Name a famous cat

Shaun - Salem (Sabrina the Teenage Witch)
Mitchell - Frisky (Coronation Street titles)
Cal - Sergeant Tibbs
Niamh - Sassy (Homeward Bound)
Ammi - Garfield
Strictly Jake - Nala
Nicky91 - Heathcliff
Calderyon - Scratchy
Rob! - Tony the Tiger
MB - Zarathustra, the Fat Art Cat
AnnieK - Bagpuss
Cherie - Snowball
Matthew. - Cat Deeley
MTVN - Claude Cat
Liam- - Tony the Tiger
Black Dagger - Berlioze Aristocat
Denver - Craig (Eastenders)
Smithy - Cat Deeley
Jake. - Top Cat
Tony Montana - Sylvester (Looney Toons)
Babayaro. - Isis (Star Trek)
Jessica - Fukumaru

Some of you were REALLY testing my generosity with the interpretation of the word "cat" here. I do not like accepting Tony the bloody TIGER but I guess it's a kind of cat :oh: so it counts. But I DON'T LIKE IT. Hats off to the two slags who named an actual person, though, and well done to Mitchell for not falling into that trap as he originally intended. Again, just 1pt scored here at worst.

6) Name someone who has presented 'This Morning'

Shaun - Emily Atack
Mitchell - Nigel Havers
Cal - Jenni Falconer
Niamh - Ross Kelly
Ammi - Ruth Langford
Strictly Jake - Marvin Humes
Nicky91 - Mollie King
Calderyon - Judy Finnigan
Rob! - Coleen Nolan
MB - Samanthi Jayawardena
AnnieK - Jenni Falconer
Cherie - Liz Earle
Matthew. - Coleen Nolan
MTVN - Ross Kelly
Liam- - Twiggy
Black Dagger - Ross Kelly
Denver - Bryony Blake
Smithy - Ben Shepherd
Jake. - Sharon Marshall
Tony Montana - Stephen Mulhern
Babayaro. - Christine Lampard
Jessica - Caton Keating

I guess I didn't specify by "presenting" that it meant hosting the whole thing so a lot of you went with the specialist guests for things like makeup, finance, celebrity gossip, etc. Ross Kelly scores 2, the devil hellbitch scores 1pt.

7) Name a 2016 celebrity death

Shaun - Chyna
Mitchell - Michael Cimino
Cal - Dale Griffin
Niamh - Alan Thicke
Ammi - Pete Burns
Strictly Jake - Ron Glass
Nicky91 - David Bowie
Calderyon - Garry Marshall
Rob! - Jean Alexander
MB - Farouk Shousha
AnnieK - Harper Lee
Cherie - Michael Nicholson
Matthew. - Fidel Castro
MTVN - Sylvia Anderson
Liam- - Robin Hardy
Black Dagger - Leon Russell
Denver - Phife Dawg
Smithy - Anton Yelchin
Jake. - Caroline Aherne
Tony Montana - Fidel Castro
Babayaro. - Edward Albee
Jessica - Shimon Peres

Sorry to resurface some old wounds here, everyone! What a **** of a year. Just the one shared answer.

8) Name someone who's appeared on 2+ episodes of Made in Chelsea

Shaun - Francis Boulle
Mitchell - Miles Nazaire
Cal - Emma Walsh
Niamh - George Amor
Ammi - Sam Thompson
Strictly Jake - Amber Atherton
Nicky91 - Jamie Laing
Calderyon - Melissa Tattam
Rob! - Alik Alfus
MB - Will Colebrook
AnnieK - Louise Thompson
Cherie - Josh Coombs
Matthew. - Emily Blackwell
MTVN - Oscar Ligenza
Liam- - Will Colebrook
Black Dagger - Ed Ford
Denver - Binky Felstead
Smithy - Harry Baron
Jake. - Joel Dommett
Tony Montana - Sam Cussins
Babayaro. - Julius Cowdrey
Jessica - Hugo Leefe

I cannot find any evidence that Joel Dommett was in Made in Chelsea at any point :suspect: Everyone names someone unique bar Will Colebrook, that troublemaking little prick.

9) Name a gossip magazine that is, or was, in circulation in the UK

Shaun - My Weekly
Mitchell - Into Soap
Cal - Mad About Boys
Niamh - Mizz
Ammi - Hello
Strictly Jake - Lifestyle
Nicky91 - Daily Mirror
Calderyon - Reveal
Rob! - Let's Talk
MB - Reveal
AnnieK - Reveal
Cherie - IN
Matthew. - Best
MTVN - ¡Hola!
Liam- - New!
Black Dagger - Xplode
Denver - Take a Break
Smithy - Closer
Jake. - Bella
Tony Montana - Heat
Babayaro. - Woman's Own
Jessica - Smash Hits

I was pretty open to the interpretation of "gossip magazine" here because Smash Hits was obviously primarily a music one, but definitely thrived off of boybands and that sort of gossip. But I had to discount Nicky's answer here since it's quite obviously a newspaper and not a magazine. Reveal scores 2pts.

10) Name a celebrity whose first name is John

Shaun - John Cooper Clarke
Mitchell - John O'Hurley
Cal - John Barea
Niamh - John Dodson
Ammi - John Travolta
Strictly Jake - John Thompson
Nicky91 - John Barnes
Calderyon - John Goodman
Rob! - John Virgo
MB - J. Eddie Peck
AnnieK - Jack Nicholson
Cherie - John Mellencamp
Matthew. - John Rocker
MTVN - Fabolous
Liam- - John Brotherton
Black Dagger - John Grimes
Denver - John Morrison
Smithy - John Epperson
Jake. - John Edwards
Tony Montana - John Cleese
Babayaro. - John Altman
Jessica - John Bernard Riley

Miraculously, everybody gets a pointless answer here!

Geography

1. Name a US state whose name begins with a vowel
2. Name a colour on the flag of South Africa
3. Name a country that shares a land border with Brazil
4. Name a capital city of the world that begins with the letter A
5. Name a river other than the Amazon, Nile or Thames
6. Name a volcano other than Vesuvius, Krakatoa or Etna
7. Name a country that is landlocked (has no sea coastline)
8. Name a city in Europe that isn't a capital city
9. Name a language that is widely spoken in more than one country, other than English
10. Name a city that has hosted either the Summer or Winter Olympic Games since 1896

For the Pointless edition: All questions that ask for a "country" as an answer must be an independent country as recognised by the UN. For #4, it must be a capital city of a CURRENT country, not a historical one. In fact, all questions are dealing with their current state; so South Africa's CURRENT flag, any European city that is not CURRENTLY a capital (but may have been in the past) for #8. For #10 I will allow all answers that have hosted either a Summer or Winter Olympics, even if they are not technically classed as a "city" (I would assume all hosts have been cities though).

Just a general warning since there've already been a couple of slips (for Pointless):

- For #4 I do need a capital city of a country, I won't allow capitals of states, municipalities or counties.
- For the rivers/volcanoes, I do need a real one that exists; there are thousands of both without delving into fiction :D One member (Rob) has given a very cheeky answer that is definitely allowed and I'll be impressed if anyone has the same thought.
- For #3 it must be a land border, no sea territories or islands nearby thank you x

Will update the post above with any new votes received.

12 sets of answers so far (so halfway? ish?) so here are some teasers...

- 6 different rivers have been named in Top Answers
- But only 2 different volcanoes
- One other question is, so far, unanimous
- Whilst two other questions are cases of "everyone says the same answer except one poor sod"
- In Pointless, there are already shared answers in every question except #5, #6 and #8
- And there is, at the moment, just the one pointless answer for the South African flag colours.

I'll post the Pointless scores, and the mid-way league tables, tomorrow, or "today" lol, I am literally nodding off

To tide you over, here's Round 6 to get thinking on.

https://i.imgur.com/8EpRKVL.png
Science & Nature

1. Name a documentary or series presented by Sir David Attenborough
2. Name an element on the periodic table whose symbol is a single letter
3. Name a type of renewable energy
4. Name a moon that is in our solar system (other than Earth's moon)
5. Name a winner/laureate of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry
6. Name a species of animal that has suffered at the hands of poachers
7. Name a species of bird that is native to the UK
8. Name a country severely impacted by the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004
9. Name a poisonous type of mushroom
10. Name one of the body's five senses

For the Pointless edition: For #2, there are fourteen correct answers and they have one letter for their chemical symbol. Please name both the element AND the symbol. For #7, they must appear in the wild. For #8, I am considering countries that took physical damage only. Plenty of countries lost tourists to the disaster, but I am only accepting answers that were in the Pacific/Indian Ocean. For #10, the five senses are pretty obvious and there's no sneaky "ESP" or whatever to try and suggest :p

All of the other questions are pretty open to interpretation unless you go completely off the rails and start naming moons from solar systems other than our own :spin2:

ffs I originally had Spanish but opted for Mandarin bc its literally the most common language :s

**** it, I'm having a second wind and I'll just storm through now. As mentioned above, 20 sets of answers means that an incorrect one would be worth 20... if there are any!

Pointless

1) Name a US state that begins with a vowel

Shaun - Indiana
Niamh - Oregon
Rob! - Idaho
Calderyon - Utah
Denver - Ohio
Strictly Jake - Illinois
Cal - Illinois
Mitchell - Idaho
Cherie - Arkansas
MB - Oregon
MTVN - Indiana
Matthew. - Iowa
Ammi - Arizona
Liam- - Illinois
Jake - Utah
Jessica - Oregon
AnnieK - Oregon
Babayaro - Indiana
Smithy - Utah
Black Dagger - Arkansas

There were 12 potential answers here, and nobody said Oklahoma or Alabama. As a result, many points lingering. Oregon scores 3, Utah, Illinois and Indiana score 2. Arkansas and Idaho score just 1.

2) Name a colour on the flag of South Africa

Shaun - Black
Niamh - Black
Rob! - White
Calderyon - White
Denver - Green
Strictly Jake - White
Cal - Red
Mitchell - Green
Cherie - Red
MB - Gold
MTVN - White
Matthew. - Gold
Ammi - Green
Liam- - Blue
Jake - White
Jessica - Gold
AnnieK - White
Babayaro - Blue
Smithy - Gold
Black Dagger - Red

With only six options it seemed inevitable there'd be no pointless answer, although Liam- did look like he'd sneak it with blue before Marc came along. Blue, Red and Black just share 1pt, Gold and Green share 2, whilst White picks up a hefty 5.

3) Name a country that borders Brazil

Shaun - Colombia
Niamh - Peru
Rob! - Guyana
Calderyon - Suriname
Denver - France
Strictly Jake - Suriname
Cal - Paraguay
Mitchell - Uruguay
Cherie - Colombia
MB - Bolivia
MTVN - Suriname
Matthew. - Bolivia
Ammi - Argentina
Liam- - Uruguay
Jake - Peru
Jessica - Uruguay
AnnieK - France
Babayaro - Paraguay
Smithy - Guyana
Black Dagger - Suriname

Ten potential answers and it seems the revelation that Brazil shares a border with France was too curious an observation to resist here, scoring 1pt along with Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia. Not as bad as Uruguay, with 2pts, or Suriname, with 3pts, though! Venezuela passes by as an unused pointless answer.

4) Name a capital city of the world that begins with the letter A

Shaun - Accra
Niamh - Alofi
Rob! - Ashgabat
Calderyon - Ashgabat
Denver - Ashgabat
Strictly Jake - Andorra la Vella
Cal - Apia
Mitchell - Athens
Cherie - Andorra la Vella
MB - Ashgabat
MTVN - Antananarivo
Matthew. - Antananarivo
Ammi - Amsterdam
Liam- - Apia
Jake - Athens
Jessica - Algiers
AnnieK - Asuncion
Babayaro - Asuncion
Smithy - Athens
Black Dagger - Athens

I agonised over which letter to use for this question because the letters L, P, R, B etc. gave off too obvious answers for Top Answers and I felt this one would split the room quite interestingly in both games. It did! Sorry Niamh, but I've only just checked that Alofi is the capital of Niue which isn't an independent country and is classed as a part of New Zealand :( Some other big scores here: Athens gets 3pts, as does Ashgabat. Apia, Andorra la Vella and Asuncion only get 1pt. Unused pointless answers here were Amman, Addis Ababa, Abuja, Asmara and Ankara.

I'm up for putting the incorrect answer to TiBB here since it's a tricky area; Niue is a "self governing nation in free association with New Zealand" but... technically isn't an independent country recognised by the UN

5) Name a river other than the Thames, Amazon or Nile

Shaun - Dart (UK)
Niamh - Lee (Ireland)
Rob! - Witham (UK)
Calderyon - Tornionjoki (Scandinavia)
Denver - Žeimena (Lithuania)
Strictly Jake - Yarlong Tsangpo (China)
Cal - Minho (Iberia)
Mitchell - Ishim (Russia/Kazakhstan)
Cherie - Guadalmedina (Spain)
MB - Hunza (Pakistan)
MTVN - Kuakanjoki (Finland)
Matthew. - Don (UK)
Ammi - Mississippi (USA)
Liam- - Onyx (Antarctica)
Jake - Cray (UK)
Jessica - Nenagh (Ireland)
AnnieK - Orinoco (Venezuela/Colombia)
Babayaro - Oise (Belgium/France)
Smithy - Vid Flumina (Saturn's moon)
Black Dagger - Sutlej (India/Pakistan)

Unsurprisingly, this was a completely pointless question!

6) Name a volcano other than Etna, Vesuvius or Krakatoa

Shaun - Kaena (Hawaii, USA)
Niamh - Rinjani (Indonesia)
Rob! - Mount Olympus (Mars)
Calderyon - Suwanosejima (Japan)
Denver - Mousa Ali (Ethiopia/Eritrea/Djibouti)
Strictly Jake - Pico de Fogo (Cabo Verde)
Cal - Piip (Russia)
Mitchell - Shishaldin (Alaska, USA)
Cherie - The Nut (Australia)
MB - Nabukelevu (Fiji)
MTVN - Villarrica (Chile)
Matthew. - Arenal (Costa Rica)
Ammi - Kilimanjaro (Tanzania)
Liam- - Rajabasa (Indonesia)
Jake - Taal (Philippines)
Jessica - El Chicon (Mexico)
AnnieK - Pacaya (Guatemala)
Babayaro - Shinmoedake (Japan)
Smithy - Sapas Mons (Venus)
Black Dagger - Paricutin (Mexico)

Once again, unless I'm missing something, a completely successful question for everyone.

7) Name a landlocked country

Shaun - Botswana
Niamh - Niger
Rob! - Rwanda
Calderyon - Luxembourg
Denver - Turkmenistan
Strictly Jake - Burundi
Cal - Laos
Mitchell - Mali
Cherie - Laos
MB - Moldova
MTVN - Liechtenstein
Matthew. - Laos
Ammi - Austria
Liam- - Botswana
Jake - Tajikistan
Jessica - Laos
AnnieK - Chad
Babayaro - Nepal
Smithy - Niger
Black Dagger - Switzerland

With 49 potential valid answers here, I was expecting fewer casualties. As it turned out, there was something enticing about Laos, as it scored 3pts. Niger and Botswana both score 1pt.

8) Name a city in Europe that isn't a capital city

Shaun - Kharkiv (Ukraine)
Niamh - Cork (Ireland)
Rob! - Lincoln (UK)
Calderyon - Lappeenranta (Finland)
Denver - Dubăsari (Moldova)
Strictly Jake - Lancaster (UK)
Cal - Obeliai (Lithuania)
Mitchell - Chelmsford (UK)
Cherie - Galway (Ireland)
MB - Radviliškis (Lithuania)
MTVN - Bangor (UK)
Matthew. - Inverness (UK)
Ammi - Manchester (UK)
Liam- - Velika Gorica (Croatia)
Jake - Chelmsford (UK)
Jessica - Aveiro (Portugal)
AnnieK - Manchester (UK)
Babayaro - Sochi (Russia)
Smithy - Poznań (Poland)
Black Dagger - Kharkiv (Ukraine)

Manchester I can understand being a popular answer. Chelmsford, maybe, if a couple of you live near there. But ****ing Kharkiv!? THANKS A LOT, LUCAS.

9) Name a language, other than English, that is commonly spoken in more than one country

Shaun - Maithili
Niamh - Persian
Rob! - Bengali
Calderyon - Portuguese
Denver - Bantu
Strictly Jake - Hausa
Cal - Malay
Mitchell - Portuguese
Cherie - Persian
MB - Kirundi
MTVN - Tswana
Matthew. - Gaelic
Ammi - French
Liam- - Albanian
Jake - Russian
Jessica - Arabic
AnnieK - Mandarin
Babayaro - Bhojpuri
Smithy - Klingon
Black Dagger - Greek

Not a great round for the P languages, aapparently.

10) Name a city that has hosted an Olympic Games (Winter or Summer) since 1896.

Shaun - Calgary (1988)
Niamh - Salt Lake City (2002)
Rob! - Salt Lake City (2002)
Calderyon - Helsinki (1952)
Denver - Sarajevo (1984)
Strictly Jake - Garmisch Partenkirchen (1936)
Cal - Cortina d'Ampezzo (1956)
Mitchell - Tokyo (1964, 2021)
Cherie - Squaw Valley (1960)
MB - Albertville (1992)
MTVN - Sapporo (1972)
Matthew. - Moscow (1980)
Ammi - Rio de Janeiro (2016)
Liam- - St. Moritz (1928, 1948)
Jake - Sarajevo (1984)
Jessica - Albertville (1992)
AnnieK - Munich (1972)
Babayaro - Sydney (2000)
Smithy - Chamonix (1924)
Black Dagger - Antwerp (1920)

Not too much damage here; only a point at worst

I don't know if I already clarified for the moons question for Pointless, so here goes since it'll need more explanation than most. The idea of what does and doesn't constitute a "moon" is confusing as hell; anyone who watches QI will know that astronomers love to pretty much make it up on the spot and change their mind all the damn time. SO... to avoid confusion, but without spoiling potential answers for either game, I will say that the following planets have the following numbers of moons (ignoring Earth because our moon doesn't count for the question)

Mercury - 0
Venus - 0
Mars - 2
Jupiter - 79
Saturn - 82 :omgno:
Uranus - 27
Neptune - 14

and Pluto isn't a planet any more so its five moons do not count :(

I will only accept answers from the above numbers

The reason I didn't put Barcelona was that capital city can have different meanings - Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, and Munich is the capital of Bavaria.
