I feel that individual tasks are the way ahead with this team. I appreciate Barry and Matthew aren't able to be on during the day whereby the other 3 candidates are. Most of my ideas were for group tasks so I'm now hosting on a wing and a prayer :laugh: I can adapt task 3 to an Individual Challenge quite easily.

...so anyway...

..Matthew and Barry, I do think that you both did what you could within the restrictions of your online time and you obviously both felt included to do what you were able to...?...your entries for the first task../...the John Lewis task..?...were both excellent because you were able to work within your own restrictions and times ...it would be unfair to judge in a team task when it was so restricting for you both and none of that being a fault of yours...


...teams are always tricky anyway...I’m always on the same or similar pub quiz team because we all know our strengths and weaknesses etc and we all know the restrictions each have with online time so there’s never any pressure, you know...I’ve always been quite daunted when I’ve been in a less familiar team, myself...


...the main things required of the task have more or less been ticked from the list...choosing the charity...Parmnion did that and chose a fine charity and explained it well..the group was put together by Jake, who put together two fine groups...either one of them would have worked beautifully for the task...the songs were chosen by Nicky and he’s done an excellent job with the choices...especially difficult for Nicky to work in a team, I think...but he’s done so, so well...you’ve really played to your individual strengths and the delegation was well thought out ....and although the poster might have been done by an outside source, as it were...Jake, you ensured it was done for the deadline time and that’s the main thing.../..Boris GET IT DONE...


...the only thing that I would have loved to have seen as an add on thing...would have been some personal words regarding the charity...something emotional, you know...a personal reason for having chosen that charity specifically ...and that would have been a strength with Parmnion, I feel...to have done that..it would have added, I think...but it doesn’t detract that it wasn’t done, it was a good task and especially for some who I don’t think that have been part of a forum game team before and all working varying hours with varying commitments etc...well done all...:love:..

Most Sports Teams have an Animal Mascot of some description which they use on merchandise and often have someone actually dress up in costume as the character, to appeal to the fans and serve as a money spinner for the club.

Your task is to choose a sporting team, can be football, rugby, whatever you like, and design a mascot for that team, along with 4 items of merchandise featuring the character, to be sold as souvenirs, or keepsakes, or even items of clothing, headgear etc. Try and be original :)

For this task you may enlist help from ONE forum member who isn't involved in the game, but all ideas must be seen to come from yourselves, and this person may not suggest items of merchandise, only helping with translating your ideas into actual designs. A forum member can only help one candidate.

This is an individual task. Deadline is 5pm tomorrow evening. If thats not long enough let me know. Please pm me your mascot and your 4 items of merchandise details when ready. Also give a name to your mascot please. Xx

And it's possibly the last weekend before another lockdown so people might be busy this weekend too, so might be worth taking that into consideration.

Basically my mascot is a rainbow starfish called Charlie


The story of Charlie is he was born without 2 of his limbs so he has special prosthetic rainbow legs. But it makes him stand out, in a great way. All the other starfish are jealous of his amazing legs


This mascot is for team GB paralympic swimming. But appeals to children

Its to intice all kids to get into swimming including those with disabilities


We will have a wide range of swimwear and accessories. Starting with swimming hats, rubber ring, arm bands and swimming bag


Because everyone wants to be like Charlie!

basically my mascot is Flint The Black-Orange Fox, my city has a thing for Foxes mascots such as football club PSV having ''Phoxy'' and this one with its orange colours fits our hockey team to perfection

he is a mascot for my city's hockey team (Oranje-Rood) Orange-Red

Flint's purpose is to attract more youth to sign up onto our u16 u17 teams, be an inspiration to also bring troubled youth of the streets and give them a purpose in their lives to aim to be a international famous hockey player

I am THE FIDDLER, Mascot of Glasgow Celtic FC.

Well I'm not really, it's me parmy, saving money for the salty sugars, being the mascot myself.

My merchandise will be on sale on match day tomorrow.


It include are the usual stuff like t shirts and masks that you get in the normal mascot shops.

But also 2 NOVELTY gifts.

1 being a piggery bank, its novelty is that it is a musical piggery bank, and you must use all the currency that come in coin shape to play the song, the song is.....

So what you do is start of with a 1p to get the duel going, working your way up to the 2 pound coin to make the music kick off. That's a cost of £3.88 to hear the song, but really it's free cause it's in the piggery bank..we sell this at a cost of £19. 99 because its shaped like Celtic park. After my calculations and close scrutiny on the build and after an initial outlay of £220.13. I got the total build packaging and onto shelf price down to £8.32.

My other item is just one of those play with once and throw away items..

I was amazed at how eager the club was on this idea also, cause yes..i forgot to say..


Not only am I saving money on mascot wearers, but I'm also selling the ideas on the merch to the Celtic already and I can announce a PRE order of 11 FIDDLERS TICKLING BOWS have been pre ordered at a cost of £250.

I’ve decided to choose ice hockey as my sport as it gets overlooked here in the UK and it’s quite a brutal sport.

Its really rubbish but its the best I can do


Basically my mascot is a rainbow starfish called Charlie


The story of Charlie is he was born without 2 of his limbs so he has special prosthetic rainbow legs. But it makes him stand out, in a great way. All the other starfish are jealous of his amazing legs


This mascot is for team GB paralympic swimming. But appeals to children

Its to intice all kids to get into swimming including those with disabilities


We will have a wide range of swimwear and accessories. Starting with swimming hats, rubber ring, arm bands and swimming bag


Because everyone wants to be like Charlie!

This is excellent, Jake. I really like the thought you've put into the backstory, the positivity of that story, and how that fits with the group you want it to represent, and I love that you asked your kids for feedback.

basically my mascot is Flint The Black-Orange Fox, my city has a thing for Foxes mascots such as football club PSV having ''Phoxy'' and this one with its orange colours fits our hockey team to perfection

he is a mascot for my city's hockey team (Oranje-Rood) Orange-Red

I’ve decided to choose ice hockey as my sport as it gets overlooked here in the UK and it’s quite a brutal sport.

Finally someone doing a bad MS paint job, and boy do I love bad ms paint jobs, so really well done on that, and the tartan horn was an inspired choice. I also really like you've used something that represents your homeland, and if you'd produced a few more bad ms paint jobs on soe merch you would have taken this to the next level, but good job.

I am THE FIDDLER, Mascot of Glasgow Celtic FC.

Well I'm not really, it's me parmy, saving money for the salty sugars, being the mascot myself.

My merchandise will be on sale on match day tomorrow.


It include are the usual stuff like t shirts and masks that you get in the normal mascot shops.

But also 2 NOVELTY gifts.

1 being a piggery bank, its novelty is that it is a musical piggery bank, and you must use all the currency that come in coin shape to play the song, the song is.....

So what you do is start of with a 1p to get the duel going, working your way up to the 2 pound coin to make the music kick off. That's a cost of £3.88 to hear the song, but really it's free cause it's in the piggery bank..we sell this at a cost of £19. 99 because its shaped like Celtic park. After my calculations and close scrutiny on the build and after an initial outlay of £220.13. I got the total build packaging and onto shelf price down to £8.32.

My other item is just one of those play with once and throw away items..

I was amazed at how eager the club was on this idea also, cause yes..i forgot to say..


Not only am I saving money on mascot wearers, but I'm also selling the ideas on the merch to the Celtic already and I can announce a PRE order of 11 FIDDLERS TICKLING BOWS have been pre ordered at a cost of £250.

So now you know why I was busy on saturday...

Friday nights entertainment is on a yacht

We pick up and drop off from the Pier Head, Liverpool. Once on board, after a short safety brief, we set sail whilst you are enjoying a glass of bubbly up on the flybridge of our luxury yacht, Iantha.

We cruise the River Mersey where you will see the spectacular NEW Liverpool Waterfront. We sail passed the famous Liverbuildings and the Albert Dock with the new Echo and BT arena situated on the banks of the Mersey.

We sail on to see Gormley's statues on Crosby beach. On a clear day you can set your eyes upon North Wales and the Great Orme. We then cruise back up the channel to New Brighton where we drop anchor whislt refreshments are supplied.

Also didnt read the rule about not having the same meal two nights in a row so instead I will get the private chef for the friday and left some spending money for you all to be spontaneous I highly recommend just getting a pizza each while you walk around the dock and then have extra spending money for cocktails. :dance:
