When Brad and Lucinda went on their date and the discussion of him living in the north and her living in the south of the country came up, that was probably a deal breaker for both of them. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were sat at that seating area discussing whether their relationship would work on the outside and ultimately coming to the conclusion that the best thing to do would be her staying and him going.

I think one of the problems with Brad couplings is that when the girls first meet him, they’re so infatuated with how good looking he is but it then never goes beyond that. He’s a bit too self centred and focused on himself rather than the girls he’s been partnered with and the situation with Rachel didn’t do him any favours either.

I was very sad to see Brad go,I really liked him and not sure I will watch the rest of it …there were far less compatible couples, that had no connection at all, just friendship..

My first comment on this season and I have to say its by far my least favourite. I am only barely sticking with it if I am honest. I have absolutely nothing against blondes (some of my friends are blonde) but Jesus when they are casting the girls should there not be a bit of uniqueness in their look. I have never seen so many girls with long blonde hair in the first two weeks episodes. Now Shannon went first and Rachel is gone so there is only Sharon and Kaz left and a bevvy of blondes. The only girl I really like is Lib I think her look seems more natural even though she, like most of the others has had work done which truly is very sad. They have covered the mixed race sector well but I live in hope that maybe we might get ONE girl with nice dark hair in there. Please dont give out to me. Its just that the girls look so SAMEY

I predicted they’d be bottom, Luicinda was new and had no fans. Also her voice is annoying. Can’t imagine anyone choosing to vote for her, and Brad had previously gone from girl to girl and wasn’t that liked by the public. I personally didn’t mind him but I knew he wouldn’t be a vote getter

Aaron and Kaz were always going to be safe (both popular)
Hugo is popular (saving Sharon)
Faye and Teddy had a lot of airtime the episode of the vote it largely focused on them (and also Faye causes some drama)
Millie and Liam seemed to be getting on quite well and neither are problematic (but I thought they’d be in the bottom 3 at the time to be honest)
Chloe and Toby had caused drama and likely got votes because of that
Liberty and Jake don’t need an explanation

Brad and Luicinda were kinda just there sadly, and got lost along the way

Faye likes to be in control…she is the Alpha female in there. I don’t think she will find anyone in there because she wants to project this tough image…and it will be a big turn off.
Lucinda is going to drive me mad…What is Aaron doing? He needs someone with a brain cell…:laugh:

I really did too but the more I have watched, the more I really think she is insecure and has been hurt in the past. During the challenges, there are times where she almost looks vulnerable and she doesn't want to open up to people.

Lucinda comes across as being closer to 15 than 21, in a lot of ways, her reactions to certain situations etc... just very "teenage". It's a bit of a mess that's she's been paired with Danny who was showing signs of being possessive/controlling within a day of being there :umm2:. She's already "anxious that he'll be angry" / "worried about how he'll react" ... massive red flags all over it.

He keeps saying "Something feels off I dunno what" but I think he knows fine well what it is :laugh: ... she wanted to choose Liam, right up until the last minute, but realised that he didn't want to and was happy where he is so she changed to Hugo. Yeah he started chest-beating as soon as she showed any indication that she was OK with Aaron's flirting. Honestly I don't think he matches the usual "vibe" of Love Island at all... his scenes come across more like "Ex On The Beach" (where they're constantly kicking off and punching holes in the walls etc.)

I think Abigail is such a refreshing change from all the bevvy of blondes this year Honestly the blonde huddle are all canoodling together and they have absolutely no unique qualities atall. I thought AJ had a different look and Kaz is lovely. I know I mentioned hair colour before and I have nothing against blondes but the AMOUNT of them this year is much much more than any other year. We have had two black girls (one who is still there) and two brunettes (both who have been dumped) It would have been nice if two dark girls had come in It is my least favourite series ever. Of the blondes I do like Liberty cos I think she is the prettiest of them cos the others lips are truly awful. I love Kaz and I love Abigail now. I hope she stirs is up

I disagree on Abigail....she knew exactly what she was doing with the whole "take my arm bit"....and even when she knew that upset Chloe on their second chat she did it again. Gutted that Lucinda's gone. Love her or hate her, she was a good islander who contributed. I don't understand what the producers were thinking even doing a dumping and making Toby and Abigail immune, knowing full well that Lucinda and Aaron would go.
