For me personally as I said to the other judges the reasoning was that I'd voted to save Liam so couldn't eliminate him and I felt Niamh had the edge over Lewis in the contest so far.

It was a tough decision for us. Vanessa found it particularly difficult as she liked all three entries.

It's not disingenuous, it's just completely facile reasoning on your part. Everyone gets an equal chance, regardless of what has happened in previous rounds. If someone finishes first for 4 rounds on the trot, should they be exempt from being eliminated if they're in the bottom group the following round?

You must know your point doesn't stand up to the slightest examination.
