What I meant was do you not want women to share your interest in Football?
Because tbf to women, it's hard to not use Football lingo without sounding "blokey."
But that's just my view.

i thought liverpool played like thugs last night. I'm not saying that Newcastle werent equally bad, but it wasn't a one sided affair
Of course it was … Liverpool obviously had to put up a fight but it’s nonsense to say they were equally as bad
There were three bad Newcastle challenges in the opening minutes .. then Newcastle left their foot or elbow in on practically every challenge
Joelinton was well Joelinton - he’s one of those players who foul throughout the game but rarely gets booked .. Kompany and Fernandinho used to be the same
The only Newcastle players who didn’t play filthy last night was the keeper , Livermento and the two wingers - the other eight were disgraceful imho
Guimares committed an endless number of fouls before getting booked then showed dissent after receiving a yellow card - the ref ignored it … he then went on to commit a further bad challenge and the commentator commented that he should be careful but he then went on to commit another 7 or 8 bad fouls … all waved on by pathetically weak ref
He gave so much to Newcastle that on three occasions VVD was seen on camera telling the ref to be “ fair to both sides “
Rant over

Who said they were … though it was just self defence or they would have been bullied into submission as the ref was far too lenient
He let far too many Newcastle fouls go completely unpunished ( not even a warning)
After about 3 minutes there’d been a few bad challenges then Joelinton kicked Gakpo in the side of his head ( Gakpo hadn’t even ducked down! ) - no yellow no warning !
Soon after VVD was seen to be pleading with the ref to be fair to BOTH sides as he had booked two Liverpool players for net to nothing compared to what the Newcastle guys were getting up to .
Most refs these days are either inept or home biased or both

Nobody has a chance now, it's a Liverpool title win with ease. However, watching Liverpool against anyone now is gonna be entertaining as every team they face will just think "we're probably gonna lose, so f it, lets just go for it".
Race for 2nd is anybodies guess, but you'd have fancy either Arsenal or Chelsea atm.

he should know that he is not up to scratch for the PL
This stinks of behind the scenes payoffs .......
Manchester City and the Premier League have reached a settlement in their dispute over the rules that govern commercial deals.
City have accepted the rules governing associated party transactions (APT) are valid and binding.
The club had mounted a legal challenge against the Premier League, claiming new rules were "unlawful".
"Neither the Premier League nor the club will be making any further comment about the matter," a joint statement said.
Last year, an independent arbitration panel found against aspects of the league's APT regulations after a lawsuit instigated by the club.
The rules were formed by the Premier League to prevent clubs from profiting from commercial deals with companies linked to their owners that are deemed above "fair market value".

Ange in at Forest
Strange decision
Sooooo
He’s a long time friend of the Forest owner ..,
Makes me wonder if the owner was gently forcing the manager out maybe hoping he’s quit and then wouldn’t have to sack him and pay him off ??
Ange could do well with forest
They have a half decent squad plus Gibbs White and Ange actually showed a different side to his tactics in those last 4 European games ( including the final success)

Call me a weirdo, but I will always support merit over diversity any day of the week.
Unfortunately we've never really had a society where it's judged on merit (especially in Football) but in my view the Manager/Head Coach position should be based on who is the best for the job that's available for the club, not based on race or because they're called Wayne Rooney.
And obviously I don't support Forest bringing Postecoglou in as their Manager, over a guy that gave Forest their best season since the Brian Clough era.
there is too much money involved in PL football for diversity to enter the argument when choosing a manager

I do agree with you personally.
Speaking for myself, I just want to see good Managers in Football strategically taking each other on, for all I care they could all be OAP.:joker:
I just find it concerning that the article basically just wants quotas filled instead of people that will bring a positive contribution to their clubs and the Sport itself.
If anyone thinks that this isn't a payoff then I'm a Nigerian Prince.
Hopefully the other 130 charges aren’t settled amicably …

Liverpool are theteam atm, nobody catches them. They've been pushed by other teams don't get me wrong, but late goals win titles, look at Utd in the 90's.
Chelsea will be let down by a very poor defence, attack wise we're in a healthy position. City, hard to tell, tactically if they get it right on the day, they are pretty much unbeatable, but as this season and last shows, that's not always the case. Arsenal are solid all round, and probably the only team who can make Liverpool nervous this season. Spurs, bit like Chelsea atm really, sometimes really turn it on, other times look lost and very beatable.
The way it's going atm -
1- Liverpool
2- Arsenal
3- City
4- Chelsea
5- Spurs
6- The rest

Dead right about Liverpool .. and your top 6
They are still bedding in their new players but winning
They looked great in patches the other evening so when they all gel they will be awesome
That said the same thing applies to Arsenal who look to have a better defence but poorer attack compared to Liverpool
It all rests on wether Viktor Gyökeres is the real deal or just a mediocre scorer

Happy with that. I'd have given Potter more time if he'd showed us literally anything to suggest he could turn it around. There was the Forest game but really that looks like a freak result set against the rest of his record
It does mean another big pivot in the way we'll play though. We need an end to the constant disruption

Amorim at Man Utd:
- 32 points in 35 games (relegation form)
- 21 games lost in less than a year
- West Ham have picked up more points than Man Utd since Amorim came in (and they have sacked Potter).
- Never won back to back Premier League games.
- Still refuses to adapt or change despite a 35 game sample size which shows the system is not working.
i like Amorim, but his failure to compromise will get him sacked

Like i said in the other thread, can't fault Sunderland's gameplan, defended well, frustrated Chelsea and our inexperience showed late on, was a silly goal to give away. We've been playing quite well too, but today had an off feel. We just didn't look like scoring either even though we had tons of possession.
Missing our best player is really starting to show too
Chelsea are such a frustrating team to support atm, they have the quality and switch it on at times, especially in the bigger games. Then other times we just look bored and laboured. We were way too casual today, and the chopping and changing by Maresca isn't helping. Though our injury list isn't helping. Tosin should have taken the Sunderland player out for the goal, took the yellow and saved the point for his team, inexperience really showing.
Fair play Sunderland though, defended well, and took their chances when they came.
