Shaun

I will eat several slices of humble pie for all the crap I talked about Jade in here earlier in the series if she's managed to convince Jack to turn on Faraaz, here

I mean, she'd still be useless  but a wonderful king/queenmaker

Shaun

One positive I would say for this series is that this feels a LOT less predictable than last year's finale

Ammi

…now they don’t know if they’ve banished a traitor or faithful…?..

Jade or Faraaz going here will guarantee Rachel and Stephen can win if they vote the same way going forward after this

Benjamin

No, not if the final 4 tie. And can’t come to a majority. It’ll be chance again.

Adamw92

No, not if the final 4 tie. And can’t come to a majority. It’ll be chance again.

Still a better chance of at least 1 of them winning than if Rachel goes here cause Faraaz and Jack can plot to get rid of Stephen

Never liked Rachel…BUT she was loyal in the end and I wanted Stephen to win as the game progressed as I normally route for the Faithfuls. I think Stephen played it really well…he was likeable and played a fair game without being nasty…whereas Rachel I found was mean in her tactics…she was good but she didn’t endear herself to the public like Stephen did.
The faithfuls were useless and the stronger faithfuls went too early. It all became a little too frustrating with clear clues being ignored until it was all too late.
It’s a brilliant show…I just love it. A traitor deserved to win on this occasion.

The series finale averaged 9.4m with a peak of 9.6m and an audience share of 54.9 per cent.

This is the biggest overnight audience across the market since the final episode of The Celebrity Traitors in November 2025 and makes it the most watched overnight audience of the civilian version of the series ever.

Just saw a report that Rachel's mother has passed away a few days after the final...

I don't think participants of competition shows receive their prize money until the show has aired, so unfortunately that may mean that she didn't quite get to fulfil her wish to help her mum (who I believe she said was diagnosed with Parkinson's in her 40s) :(

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czdq2nlgz6jo

The winner of the latest series of The Traitors has shared the news of the passing of her mother.

Writing on Instagram, Rachel Duffy said she was "heartbroken" at the death of her "beautiful wee mummy".

On Friday, she became the first female Traitor to win the BBC show.

Throughout the series, Duffy spoke about her mum's battle with Parkinson's Disease and also dementia.

During the show, Duffy from Newry in Northern Ireland, had said she wanted to take her mum on holiday to create memories.

Speaking to BBC News NI following her win, she said she was looking forward to treating her family, and her mum in particular.

"I rang my mummy this morning… I can't wait to come home and give her a big hug and say what will we do?"

"Anything you want let's go do it. As long as I get to spoil my family that's all I care about," she added.

"She [Rachel's mum] didn't get all the twists and the turns but she's enjoyed watching it. She's very proud."

Duffy, as well as her co-traitor Stephen, managed to win the competition in Friday night's final to take home half of the show's £95,750 prize pot.

Rachel opened up about her mum during her time on the show, and in the final episode, she became emotional as she talked about how she wanted to spend the prize money making memories with her family.

"When you know her [Rachel's mum] memories are going and you have an opportunity to help her create the nicest ones ever, that is very precious," she said.

Speaking after the final, Rachel's sister Joanne said how she wished to spend her winnings showed her sister's true character.

"Because Rachel wanted to get in there and get that money for mummy and what she wanted it for meant that it meant so much more than just the money."

That is so sad, my heart goes out to her.

Happy Rachel and Stephen won, they played a blinder.

Let's hope she can at least take some comfort and pride in having won for the purposes of bettering her mother's last few years, even if fate didn't quite allow for her to fully realise that ambition.

…that’s just so terribly sad…</3…her mom was also diagnosed with Dementia just recently as well as her Parkinson’s disease, I think Rachel said…she wanted to give her that holiday and those memories while she was still able to have memories..although the time wasn’t there to do that and to give that holiday, she said how proud and happy her mom was in watching her on Traitors…so she had filled her with all of the beautiful memories she needed, really……very sad and I’m so glad that her mom was able to see her daughter win…
