Pretty much yeah I prefer to get in later for that reason buuut the downside is many people are high in chips (basically the tournament $ in chip form) from playing for a while before you've even started.. so then you have catching up to do to get more chips (which you'll need to get at some point in order to make that top % & especially the top tier placements. And also people with a lot of chips can play more aggressively and comfortably compared to you getting in hella late with a small amount of chips to work with Either way I still like getting in later with many people already knocked out of the tournament without even having to do a thing And nnnn SO true it's literally over a week's worth of pay for me in just 4 hours. If only it was easier to maintain & repeat these kind of wins </3

Noooo don't go for roulette you'll regret it & that reminds me on Sunday part of that $350 I was losing before the big win was from a $100 slots loss. I lost that **** QUICK like I think it gave me about two $5 wins and that's it; I was so pissed but it kinda actually motivated me in the tournament so eh ). But yeah I need to just erase casino games from my mind entirely unless I'm just having some fun at AC.

I'll prob just pass on the offers entirely lol the golf one is sketchy and parlays are a no-go

They do kinda ok and idk exactly cause we won't mention everything like I said but I know they end up blowing it most of the time when they are doing good. But that's kinda how gambling goes, like I have a lot of setbacks too, everyone does.

Yuuup it all depends on how many people enter but still even just a 6-person game for $100 would be around $400 for 1st place & $200 for 2nd which is solid for having to beat so few people (which would also take like 30-60 mins to complete). That's why I love tournament poker But still it's hard to get these top placements all the time Top 15-20% typically get around/almost double of whatever the buyin is tho and it's very doable. Started at 7:00 but you can join in up to 2-3 hours later depending on the tournament which I did (around 8:30-9:00). There's both advantages & disadvantages to joining in late but too much to get into $700 profit for ~4 hours of playing tho

Literally JUST finished. 6th place for a NICE win again. But damn I thought I was gonna repeat for another top 3 that woulda been crazy! It was $100 entry tho (smaller prizes than even the $50 one - but that's cause Sundays are crazy for poker). Still a ~$700 win

Yeah around 4-5 hours, got up just before 10:00 & then went through my morning routine after getting set up. That's kinda typical for me at home tho, I hardly get a thing done in the first 30-60 mins of work Nnn I literally can't nap almost ever, I'm wide awake again now it's always just the mornings I'm tired

Yeah also the sports betting usually involves the most convo between my friends & others because it also links in to sports talks that I have a bunch and it's kinda the most fun / most common form of betting too. Like one, kinda two, of my friends are actually bigger into sports betting than me (they'll put like $100 on games constantly & usually influence me too lol). But I def have the most interest with the poker/casino type of gambling. Yeah people don’t tend to be interested in win/loss gambling stories unless something crazy happened or it was huge. From my experience plenty people like more general gambling talks tho. Me & my friends are all into it tho but even then we don’t tell each other every gambling result we have, we’ve gone through years of gambling so it’d get tiring over time The darts betting is new to me tho so I will prob keep following up with you on that if you ain’t bored by it
