Yep. The bloke Van pelt was dating was a Red John operative and tried to kill Hightower and van Pelt. Then in the final episode it was all heading for Bradley Whitford to be named as Red John then we had the incident in the coffee shop and Jane killed him. A bit of a shame that they got a guest star like Bradley Whitford then only had him in two scenes.

It's been ages since I saw Season 3 now, what was the red herring again, was it to do with Hightower?

hhhmm Gina, I'm not sure I buy her persona at all tbh, I think those theories about her not being rich and all that could be true. Tbh I find Sallie more offensive than her, she gets genuinely nasty when things don't go her way where as it seems like Gina is playing a game and thinking up things to argue about more so, I'm probably way off lol
