Your Grizzlies lost again </3 (I bet Utah Jazz against them so it was good for me ) I'm only 1-1 with the NBA bets so far today tho, got a bit screwed over on one of the games (team won but close loss with the - spread). 76ers -10.5 and they won the game by 9 so I lost. So close & point spread screwing me there but the return if I bet them upright would've been like $3 so I don't mind take those big spread chances for the much more reasonable profit when it hits like I've gotten in a few others that were big favorites. YES @ getting back on track with the darts!!! Glad you reminded me about it so I went with it too for a win as well! Oh OKC's up by 11 vs. the Lakers rn tho!!!

Lol that's also true it'd be pretty tough to win these bets without even knowing basketball yet I'm kinda dumb going for darts bets when I don't actually watch / have a clue BUT somehow I've been able to do aight with it anyway

Idk I've had a few losing sessions too but true I've been doing pretty well lately after that previous streak like a few weeks back where I felt like I was losing almost every time & a few times pretty big L's. Also limiting it a lot more with NBA on now & maybe even more limited with BBUS starting (I CAN'T WAIT FOR TONIGHT!). I mean yeah the limits I play at you can EASILY lose at least $100 in a very short time so it's all risky but as long as it goes well overall I'm so here for the ups & downs even

That's the team that has my fave NBA player Carmelo Anthony and I really wanna see him do well (I also like the team in general, their main jerseys are black which I like and there's a lot of players I like on that team). There's also a story behind Melo that's kinda a lot to get into but basically: Melo has been a top tier player for like a decade & a half in the league but he's never been able to win a championship & also had some teamwork issues / basically got blackballed out of the league for a year+ just recently until he made his return this season. He's always been a bit underrated for his talent because of his limited big-time playoff wins but that also has to do with the teams he's been on (including my Knicks). Unlikely the Blazers win it all but I would LOVE to see them do well

Lmaooo as long as you have that article link handy then you should be able to remember it more easily after a while It's seriously SUCH a better betting format tho imo so if you did get used to it & started feeling good enough about it then you should take a chance with it in the future Today the point spread could easily screw me over as I'm going with all favorites that have negative points, and some quite a bit -, but I'm hoping it works out, I feel ok about it. Always aiming for a 3/5 type of day at least tho & I'm hoping that's the case with my 5 NBA today after so many underdog picks won yesterday (and kinda the day before too).

Oh yeah I lost like just under $100 late last night pretty quickly so that sucked & totally ruined the decent profit day I was having from sports betting ugh I feel like the slow winning process with sports betting is making me hate losing any amt in poker now because it can reverse the winnings so fast ffs But I gotta think of it separately tbf because I did have a NICE winning day with poker just this past Sunday. The betting is like my side gambling grind. that hopefully results in a + overall too

Yup it’s the same for NBA too, like games that seem like an obvious win will only get you $1-2 return or less for a $5 bet & then many times they’re not as obvious as they seem. Just totally not worth it which is why I got into spread bets a looong time ago I think spread betting might be tougher with darts tho because of how it’s +/-1.5 & games tend to be close from what I’ve noticed so it’s so hard to call

Ahhhh yeah I’ve turned down some invites too even but only during certain busier times in my life when I was trying to finish up college & stuff like that. I mostly go tho & feel bad turning it down. It’s weird but I even get invites from distant family that I’ve barely talked to as well but it’s kinda like a +1 invite with some other family member(s) that they know better

Blazers from Portland & they’re just aaaaight, just similar level to the Grizzlies before the NBA restart, both right on that edge of trying to make the playoffs, but the Grizzlies have been pretty bad so far in the restart while the Blazers have been solid. (Blazers beat the Grizzlies in their first game back) But yeah OKC is just kinda one of those teams idc about Most people were expecting them to be pretty bad tho so they’ve overachieved which is cool to see

Ohh I've prob been to like 10+ lol (prob even more since I was young but like 5 within the past few years). Just too many between family & friends (many even distant family & none of my close friends are married yet) so I'm kinda over them I just feel obligated to go most of the time esp those where my whole family is involved with. But still, they're not the WORST or anything they can still be a lot of fun

Yeah tbh if you're used to the outright betting you should just go with that as betting something you're not used to can be disastrous. Maybe try to hit on one of the upsets happening as they're pretty common for sure Yup even a 1/25 favorite lost today it's crazy

Oh yeah I've been meaning to mention that @ parlays. Like the amt of times I've gone like 6/10, 3/5 etc. if I just went for parlay combos I'd prooobably actually be losing $ with the sports betting rn instead of ~+$200. Exactly why I never liked doing parlays. But for some reason I'm kinda liking it with darts & MLB (despite not winning **** with MLB until the past 2 days finally lol).

My team is Trail Blazers since my Knicks are out of it. They actually just got a NICE upset win a few mins ago. I should've been biased and went for them in a bet () but tbh I would've leaned towards Houston winning that one (even with -4 for the spread bet) so I just wanted to enjoy the game without $ on the line and root for my team and it was a GOOD one And I don't HATE your OKC team Just not a team I've ever really rooted for sksk There are certain teams I hate like the LA Lakers, Houston Rockets & others just cause of some of the players etc. OKC is just a bit of a boring team lol
