Yeah so there's a driver's ed class for ONE of the 4 marking periods. The way gym works for us over here was 3 marking periods would be gym and the 4th marking period would be a health class most years but sophomore year you take driver's ed instead of health. I'm not sure if ALL schools even do it. Is it not in schools at all over there? Would make sense why so many don't bother then, I might've been lazy to do that on my own (even tho I did have to re-do the written test cause of laziness anyway lol but without the school teaching it I might've not bothered at all for years). Jaywalking is technically illegal but I don't think I've EVER seen it actually get implemented or cared about lol everyone just does it anyway. But in a big city like NYC you really can't do it tho.

Ahh do you know any good hangover remedies? There's a lot that people say work but I don't even remember any ever, I basically just try to sleep it off & then stay hydrated the next morning which does help a fair amt. Idk maybe random but I think I got to sleep pretty late too like 4-5am but don't even remember exactly & it might just be tiredness building up but it just felt like a rough morning (prob the $ lost factoring in as well taking a toll on my mind). Pretty awake now tho.

Lol yeah most people prob would trade it instantly (which I do plenty times as well) but on the site where I traded for $300 I was just building up the points because it's all about accumulating points there (rather than earning 'chests' on the other site) AND they give you a better deal when you trade more so 1250 pts for $100 cash vs. like 700-750ish pts if I went for $50 cash etc. And I was doing good anyway so didn't feel the need to trade for a while but after this loss I needed a bit of a boost from that at least (it's the site where I lost big in blackjack yesterday & also where I did worse in poker, I actually profited a bit on my other site like $100ish & didn't do any casino on that one -- other site was -$1000 with like $700-800 blown in blackjack ). Casino games = bad karma I guess. I gotta stop with it tbh at least online, it's too easy to lose control on it & it's not even as worth it as it is in person.

Lmaooooo that’s funny I miss random dreams like that even something like that where I’m freaked out about something. I did have a dream a few nights ago that I don’t totally remember but involved me winning $7000 in a tournament that had a bunch of friends / people I know in it (and was on that 3rd site online that I stopped trying to play on ). But then instead IRL I lose big yesterday gahhh

Yeah you kinda do have to study because they put so many little details / certain things you kinda don’t even need while actually driving etc. & I think I just studied from my previous driving class notes in high school & the tests vary so I got lucky to pass. I always remember that test, so you need like 20/25 right to pass & when you do it at the DMV on the computer you find out if you got each answer wrong as soon as you submitted it & basically I needed to get like my last 17 in a row correct to pass & I somehow did it Did I explain DMV? It’s basically just where you go for everything license & car related (like when you get a new one or for any kind of renewal or inspection). I’d say so, I mean there’s sooooo many people using public transport there so the trains, buses, taxis are all over. YUP

Tbh it didn’t even feel super unlucky this time just super stupid Although the dealer did keep starting with 21 & getting the perfect cards that were needed sooo often so def did include plenty bad luck Yup hopefully, in need of a turnaround now I traded in any leftover points that I haven’t yet for $300 & $40 on each of my sites just to not feel as ****ty about the $ lost sksk

Yeah driving license. I was like 18 when I got my official license but there's a 'provisionary' (I think that's the term for it) one before it for like 6 months or something), could've at 16 but waited (then I had to retake the written test which I BARELY passed the 2nd time and the driving test was a breeze). Basically feels like I've been driving forever tho it's been a decade actually. Another thing that adds so much convenience tho but I get why many in London don't bother getting their licenses / a car. Many are like that in NYC which like I've said gives me that kinda London vibe.

Ughhhhhh I'm so damn heated right now. Blew about $900 today and the poker session didn't even go toooo poorly I lost like maybe $150ish on the poker portion tonight but in the middle of it I felt like playing some blackjack and it went ****ing ABYSMALLY. Lost the rest of the -$900+ on there. Made me play ****ty/unmotivated for the rest of my poker as well. Knew a reeeally bad blackjack session would be coming soon too but couldn't help myself. I was cooling down about it for like the past 30 mins to an hour but I still can't. Idk why I did that & I've been starting to lose plenty more days than not so I really gotta chill now. Def gonna take a break until Sunday at least and see what happens. So damn depressed/defeated over this loss, mainly because I was stupid with casino again when I know better by now to at least not go crazy with it but also feel like losses are starting to pile up now so frustrating

Ah ok whew just checked & I did win 1 of them so only a $12 loss so I'll take it (but also lost one of my free $5's in the process). Note to self: don't go for 4 parlay bets especially not when the matchups look unpredictable

Oh damn that sounds annoying. Do you guys have to renew your debit/bank cards over there like how it is with licenses? Pretty simple tho like they'll just send a new one and it SHOULD be fine even in your case with whatever's going on with it hopefully & you still get your next payment. Renewing license every 4 years is the worst tho, such a process and gotta actually go the the DMV and the lines there are ridiculous

Oh and nah I can't even really tell you're tipsy but it might just be that you've gotten tipsy/drunk so often over the last months so your typing just all kinda meshes into tipsy texting and I don't even notice a difference anymore

Nah some places are like that with co-workers but at this one we've only had very few "party" type of days (during work hours randomly, like a Christmas one where we went to a local restaurant the day before Christmas eve or so) but they're rare. One of my previous jobs at a law firm was like that where they'd throw parties all the time both during & after work hours & I would also hang with a few of them casually outside of work every once in a while etc. Just varies but I like how my current job is because those parties in particular can get awkward / rather not even be there We're still all close/friendly tho (and I've been working there over 3 years now I think 3 1/2+)
