Yeah that's true but I'd even say vice versa it's sometimes better not to care about when you're losing $ too in order to turn it around more effectively. But tbf I'm thinking about it in a way of like having a good careless mindset for playing a strategic game like poker & it's just not that way for all gambling. Ahh damn, have you done bad with darts betting in the past? You've been doing decently well from what I've seen. I mean yeah sports betting can be tough tho but it shooould give better results than the typical casino games at least if you follow the sport and have a good sense of it.

In a way caring less is kinda the best thing you can do with gambling BUT first you need to actually know the games well (jk ) But nah that's mostly just the case for poker tho not really all gambling. In poker if you're fearless and making solid decisions that others are scared to risk, you can win a lot without even needing toooo much luck on your side. And it's a game that rewards persistence a helluva lot more than any casino game etc. ever could

And yeahhh leaving more $ on your account does make you care less It's almost like you forget that's your earned $ that you're risking because it just becomes a # on the screen and whatever you lose is less than that amt you have in total so you don't think of it as much. Not always a bad thing to care less tho. Like I actually cared a lot more about losing that $400 on the new site today than I would having a $400 losing day on one of my sites where I have more $ on. Luckily I haven't had to deposit money on those other 2 in forever now. *Knock on wood* not trynna jinx myself again

Btw after all that bs happened on that site I decided to last minute join into the $100 tournament on one of my trusty sites and I'm currently 28th in chips out of 28 left & top 27 win money. This could end brutally too but hopefully I can manage to sneak in to top 27 at least

So damn annoyed with that site. When I was using it years ago I know I was winning somewhere around $500-1000 on it one time but idk if I ever did cash any of it out and even if I did I lost that back and plenty more. Must be down a few $1000's on that site vs. profiting a bunch on the sites I stick around in. I knooow and I totally feel over it but I think in like a few days or weeks from now I'm gonna wanna try again So damn tempting, like something has to change and if it does the prizes on this site are AMAZING in like any/every tournament

UGH that other site blooows I deposit another $400 today and decided to only focus on playing tournaments for that site and INTENDED to take it slow with the smaller tournaments but that totally failed... Too many extremely good $50-100 tournaments and just no luck on that site </3 I lost them all. Blew the entire deposit ($15 left) in like two hours DONE with it

Ohhh almost forgot, I used my $10 on Tottenham vs. Sheffield last min earlier. For like $7.50ish win. They're down 1-0 rn tho. Soccer suuuuuuuucks

Loool is there anything specifically you do? Like certain #'s you stand with and certain you hit with or all random-ish decision making? There's also splitting when you start with a pair (that's sometimes good/sometimes not) or doubling down (which is VERY important to use when you start off with a big advantage vs. the dealer). Once you get the rules more and have a good idea of when to hit & stand you can do pretty decently in that game (although bad streaks will still happen too )

Yup "it's all good anyway" is basically just how I look at it when I'm on a hot streak but have a losing game/day - at least after I take a few mins/hours to cool down And I totally get that, I guess for me it's just like I understand the losing part of it and because I've been able to do so well overall in my life I'm just like eh if I didn't take these risks, I wouldn't have that extra $ anyway or some really fun times because of it (both doing the actual gambling & spending the $). It does suck when on a bad streak & having control is important & often tough to do during those times. I've had plenty of **** ups like that including recently

Ahhh you couldn't guess from the AC trips or you mean before even knowing about those? I mean I'm gambling a biiit extra rn, like I'm usually good with sticking with my sports betting during the seasons & playing poker mostly on a Sunday or whatever. I've just gotten more hooked during quarantine & because I'm on a nice streak (esp in the more recent months since at first I was re-addicted to video games/Fortnite but playing a lot less now). But still it's always been a top hobby / big part of my life for myself & friends. I don't always mention to everyone and never or hardly ever mentioned around here.
