SO DAMN TRUE Whenever I've played for a while and lost like $100-200 it's like it's hard to even realize you're losing that much. I love this wheel of fortune slot in AC tho that's usually $5/spin but it varies. If you get the wheel of fortune bonus, then the wheel above you spins with a $ prize, usually like ~$40 minimum & like $2000/2500 or $4000 max. You can actually get that bonus a decent amt but the wheel does tend to land on the lower amts a bunch, prob designed that way

Oh & @ the gambling part of discussion. Poker is so great because you don't have to worry about beating the casino's advantage, there is none. They just make their money from poker by taking a 'fee' from a game and all you have to worry about is how you / the other actual people at the table play & hoping to get lucky with the cards. But at least not hoping to get lucky vs. a casino system that's designed for you to lose to begin with

Such an easy form of entertainment & it's prob the best the way you do it making smaller bets too (fun but not that much risked) but I'm too much of a gambler that small bets like that would have no real effect with me. Basically you with alcohol?

Yup slots winnings def never reach the amt of slot losses for anyone I don't think. Maybe the few that somehow win BIG on it but even then I bet those end up losing most/all of it back if they keep playing

Loool yeah a $20 loss (but $45 too from blackjack before that) can 'satisfy' my gambling urge while not feeling too bad about it. $65 overall is still kinda like 'ugh shouldn't have played' but still doesn't really bother me with how used to it I am & especially considering the recent streaks.

Aw damn I think a season would be so fun for darts. Like for example NFL has a 16 game season & NBA has an 82 game season. Every team gets a schedule for that season and all teams play that many games. The best overall win/loss records at the end of it then make it into the playoffs tournament format. Really fun I guess kinda World Cup-esque but longer & some lil differences.

Yup the lose rate is unbelievably higher with slots. 100% a game to just play very occasionally & just hope that particular time you can get lucky. And even then you gotta play for a while, very unlikely you get lucky after just playing a few spins. It's prob the worst game EVER for you as you'd quit after 2-3 turns & that'll result in a loss practically every single time Ahh yeah gambling is tough enough when you know the game & usually even worse odds in these variation type games (usually a way casino's think of how can they make a game even more to their advantage )

Loool it really can be hard to tell who's genuine and I can imagine at like a hostel especially with all kinds of people and having to collect all that rent $ Yup it's a tough & awkward position on both sides for real.

I lost that tournament too (pretty quickly) lol oh well </3 Prob was the better decision tho as I could've easily lost more than that with the blackjack & after that I was satisfied/over gambling for tonight

Yeah I've had some decent slot wins tbf tho, like even big one-spin hits for $300-$500ish (including that day not too long ago where I got the ~$400 spin ), but the amount of times I quickly lost $100-200 that I put in a machine or online in those slot games is preeetty dumb and shows how much of a ripoff it is over time. It's one of those games where if you somehow manage to be one of the lucky ones that wins a major jackpot, like in the 4-5 figures or something, you better just take that $ & run cause you'll easily lose that back before long continuing to play slots But yeah that's pretty true @ a game like roulette too.

Maybe it's just that it's all I'm used to with sports but I love that format for it.

Ahhh yeah it's pretty lottery-esque, like to win those bonus amts, first one of your #'s picked has to get chosen for the big multiplier and THEN that same # has to land on the wheel that round. Doubtful to say the least. 30x is still good tbf, or SEEMS good, but it's really a robbery when you consider there's 37 #'s so 1 in 37 chance to hit for only 30x return is pretty bad

The arguing would happen regardless every once in a while but yeah I think everyone involved was just fed up already at this point Like I can see their side too especially during this corona period but they've been pretty bad/irresponsible with it not just now but for years even. Live blackjack version is FUN but takes even more patience waiting for every person to make their decisions (they give a pretty big timer & there's like some delay to it between the people & dealer so it literally takes longer to play a round than it would at the casino). I mix it up tho cause live blackjack is a fun vibe, most fun game at the casino & you actually do get a bit of that live feeling. Lol yeah I'm OTT with the gambling so I can't even do just one of the game a lot of the time ffs Also same with NFL/NBA bets when that comes around

In slots I feel like you can get those huge random lucky wins BUT you can also lose $ so quickly (the most/quickest between all casino games). The rest (games like roulette/blackjack) are tough and any MAJOR wins in them are unlikely / almost impossible but they're not as bad for maintaining a bit (having winning sessions with the losing ones & doing ok) but overall it's sooo tough to beat the casino long term.
