Actually pretty much every time I've seen her 'upset' it's been
after an argument, so I would imagine they're not aware that she reacts in this way.

She has nowhere else but the toilet, shower or diary room to cry. If she was playing the one trick pony mobster wife like some have said, she's spoiling her own game plan shedding tears. I'd like to think it's simply raw human emotion?

You could also argue that she knows how to play the game and get sympathy on her side. Crying works wonders especially after confronting someone seen as the 'bad guy'. I think she's pretty clued up on reality tv. There's nothing wrong with crying - it's what she says and how she acts that contradicts it.
