She is not good in interviews
A previous aide said she hates them. They should have checked that before putting her in place Give Jenrick a go. ![]() |

Changing the Tory leader would be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Yes but not with either Jenrick or Braverman.
Because really Badenoch is just more thinking like them. Running after Farage's Reform ( UKIP MK3) Party in the main. |

I rarely watch Kuenssberg on Sundays but she had Justine Greening on, who I didn't dislike much during her period prominent in the Conservative party. However she said more or less, the trying to emulate Farage and Reform wasn't working under Badenoch. Who do you think could even now start to turn this around for your Party. Plus be able to pull back the support already lost to Reform. As I said, I know you like Jenrick but who other than him, who would you really look to, if you had that choice. Reality is the options are very limited and it'd be between Jenrick and Cleverly I think. Feels like the Tories are very squeezed as well because they're hemorrhaging votes both sides to the Lib Dems and to Reform |

The problem is that all the Tory mps have had there time. They need new faces with new ideas. The tories got their messaging wrong on immigration. No one can solve it legally but they never explained it. Once you get past the boris 3 word slogans, there is really nothing left and people seem not to be engaged enough to understand nuance these days

After Jenrick and Cleverly the favourites for next leader aren't even Tory MPs which says it all - Boris and Farage. I think most members would have Boris back in a heartbeat but there's no easy route back to parliament for him

In my opinion, Boris is the only person who could lead any kind of Tory revival.

My views on the Conservatives doesn't matter as I'm not a supporter of them.
However I've always had some agreement with the expression, better the devil you know than the one you don't. Very appropriate at this present time. I was never an admirer of Johnson, but he was a winner. Even I have to admit that, plus he was certainly a better bet than the PM before him and the one after him. In my view. I do think had he absolutely stuck rigid to the COVID rules he made law for everyone else Plus had he not tried to cover for or keep in place the MPs of his who did wrong, lobbying or financially and the worst one, trying to cover up for a sexual predator. I personally wasn't too bothered about his expenses and freebies issues I think with Ukraine and his then determination to really stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine. Then he likely would have been a much stronger bet still in any election. I wonder what he really thinks about things now. As for him coming back again. I'm not sure it looks like he'd even want to. Especially at this chaotic time. |

You never know with Johnson.
I'm thinking no way would he want to be involved with the awful state politics is at present. The awful more prejudicial attitude of Reform and some of its really horrible toxic supporters is extremely concerning. Although I wouldn't vote Conservative, despite my family in the past up to 2015 being more to the centre right of politics and many voted Conservative too. I nearly did in 2010, with my first ever vote, however I felt I couldn't trust them with the NHS. So I voted LibDem hoping for a coalition. Which I got but then the LibDems supported some really hateful policies like the bedroom tax, tuition fees and on the NHS too. However any day of the week I'd more welcome a Conservative Party led by Johnson than this awful Party around now, led by, in MY view, one of the worst bigoted and narcissistic individuals possible as to Farage and most of that Reform lot. It's absolutely not better the devil you know when the devil in question is an utter out and out scumbucket. Yeah I'm talking about you Keir Starmer.
Starmer and his barmy army of yes men and sycophantic followers/people who still vote out of habit to put it in a nicer way, are dragging this country into a veritable cesspit. The party do not have 1 single redeeming factor.
