The Higher ups don't care about where you come in the charts, only the sales matter and Joe's sold loads. He's not got the Christmas number 1 (probably not anyway) but it's guaranteed he'll go to number 1 next week and he's still had one of the best selling singles of the year.

He hasn't bombed or failed yet so there isn't much point in getting upset.

He'll almost definitely get #1 next week, I expect most who were willing to download it already have so RATM will fall out the chart, but X Factor winners singles hold up for a few weeks
