John & Edward have reportedly auditioned for roles in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Hobbit.

Speaking to The Sun, the twins revealed that they were invited to audition for Deathly Hallows.

"It would be really cool if we get the part," one of the brothers said. "I'd like to play Hermione's boyfriend."

The pair also hinted that they had been offered roles in The Hobbit, adding: "Filming starts in July in New Zealand and only lasts a month, so that will be a nice holiday for us. They were doing castings in Dublin so we went along.

"We heard Ronan Keating has auditioned as well and it would be so cool if we were in it with him. We want to be in loads of different films and we've been offered so much different stuff but Louis [Walsh] decides what we do."

John & Edward release their debut single 'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)' on February 15.

It says in that article they've auditioned for The Hobbit which has Lord of the Rings characters in and was written by the same author of the three Lord of the Rings films. So it hasn't got the LOTR name but it'll still be classed as LOTR when it comes out on DVD (sold in box sets with the other 3, ect)

The Hobbit was always my fav out of them all. Can't wait to see it on the big screen and getting Del Toro to direct was a genius move.
