Usually we don't know the twist until launch night. So why have Channel 4 announced the twist so early in advance???

There must be something more to this. They didn't need to announce the twist yesterday. They could have done it on launch night just like every other series. I have a feeling there's still some more big news to come in the next few days.

Maybe they're going to put profiles up on the website next week of the final 30 housemates and we vote for our favourites? and the top 16 become housemates?

yeah maybe. Or the contestants could just be really bad actors employed by Endemol. It's happened before!

could have something to do with the prize fund or all the contestant could be potential bb housemates

Okay how about this: on the Million Pound Drop the contestants are coming on as pairs. So far there have been 7 pairs + one single contestant. What if they ARE potential BB contestants, but WE the public have to vote before the series one person from each pair to go into the house.

On launch night, all of these couples will be sitting down and they'll find out which one of the pair has got into the BB house?

I think you're right, there's something more to it. There must be. Either that or they just want to gain as much interest for the launch as possible.

I'm still convinced that The Million Pound Drop is in someway related to BB. Davina, the 'secure & secret location', the money, Endemol, C4, the fact that all the contestants on the MPD all seem like plausible Big Brother housemates, etc. As someone said, there is definitely something fishy going on. But I don't know. If they're linked, I think it could potentially be one of the best ideas yet, if I'm honest.

To be honest... that is veyr interesting, thats the closest to me believeing its somewhat BB related, because i kept saying no. Why would most of them say they have been locked up? Or maybe they mean they need to be locked up away before appearing on the show anyways :/

Two people from Channel 4 hinted at this yesterday when the news was announced.

"BB11 Breaking news coming: LAUNCH NIGHT WILL BE HUGE" - Kate in the press office.

But they also mention having read all the newspapers in preparation for the questions. I thought once you were in hiding this was forbidden.
