Default What was your favourite BB series?

For me it is only one, the only series I have ever seen from Day 1 to the final, and it was the one I keep being told was 'the most boring series ever'

BB4.

I was supporting Nush throughout, and was gutted she was evicted so close the the end, and then on I think I was routing for Ray in the final. Can't recall much about the series anymore, but I think there was a bit of chemistry between Steph and Cameron?

Anyway, number of reasons why I feel I have something for BB11, but this series has kinda inspired me.

I remember enjoying what was the first international BB swap.

Who was the guy that swapped with Cameron?

Torn between BB5 and BB6.

Both had so many LOL moments and lots of drama, plus the best housemates.

Wow.
I have never seen a thread like this before on a popular Big Brother Forum thats been running for years.

BB9 was the best series.
Very Very Underated, would of been loved way more if Jade hadnt of ****ed up CBB5, Then the producers ****ed up BB8 which left poor BB9 to try and pick up the peices.

Did a good job, as its the best series.
BB6 and BB7 Were really good too.

But BB9 Comes out on top, I hope one day you all rewatch it and realise just how good it was as people seem to forgot.

Well considering BB7 had golden Housemate and a Golden Eye, I think its the golden year.

That series is loved by pretty much everyone tbh.

I've watched every Big Brother series fully since BB6 (although I watched bits of BB3 and BB5) and my favourite has been BB7, with BB6 very close. I probably would have rated BB5 a lot higher if I'd have seen more of it, but I wasn't really too into BB at that stage. BB6 got me into it
So yeah, BB7.
BB8 was a disappointment, can't see what was so great about BB9 (tasks were awful, series was quite dull) and BB10 I loved actually (go Roddy!)
In order (highest to lowest rating from BB6 onwards):
BB7
BB6
BB10
BB9
BB8

BB9 was my favourite, with BB7 being my 2nd favourite (brings back very good memories of Summer '06...)

BB7 is by far my favourite series. Every highlight show was full of actual highlights because the housemates were all entertaining in their own ways. Every day had a new drama, fall-out, romance, and it kept me (and others) gripped for the next installment.

BB6 is my 2nd fav. Kinga got a lot of s**t off people, but I thought she was an epic housemate. Once again, constant entertainment in a variety of different ways.

BB5 is then 3rd. I think it was so successful because BB4 was so...(sorry to say it)...boring. The public asked for "normal" people after BB3 put in it's most outrageous housemates to that point, and when they met the public's demands it flopped to the point where advertisers pulled out. So BB5 came back with it's most wackiest HMs ever, and it was pure entertainment.

BB5 is a close 2nd, so different to BB2 but soooooooooo dramatic and entertaining

BB10... So underrated, but I thought it was an incredible series!
BB11 comes second.
BB9 comes third...

Deffinately BB2 was the best BB ever. It seems like an awful lot of forum members didnt start watching BB till later, BB2 was great, Brian Dowling had me in stitches 24 hrs a day, Bubbles was fun too and a great BB romance with Helen and Paul.
BB5 was good but totally different reason, not a lot of laughs but loads of drama.
BB2 the champs

My thoughts exactly - BB9 may very well been the best season and yet it is strangely under-rated.
The explanation (as far as I can see) is that the concept of BB itself had maxed out and was on the decline,
yet,
just as you put it - IF a few years from now people look back in comparison they will (hopefully) see just how excellent BB9 really was.

IF the series had been canceled at the final of BB9 it would have gone out on top of the world and the perfect ending.

(bb10 a disaster joke of a season imo but I am glad they got to redeem with BB11 and close it out with some dignity)
