Default Save and Replace Tasks

Would you like to see those nominated compete in a task to save theirselves and replace their position with another housemate weekly?

Those who are Rachael fans shouldnt base their choice simply because Rachael was put up this week instead of Dave (wahoo!).

I think they should! People say BB is an experiment, however I think BB1 was the experiment, and after 10 series we know what kinda stuff happen so it is a gameshow. And this lets the housemates fight even more to stay, gripping onto the last chance of being evicted on the Friday, and also because it will stir it up as they have to pick somebody to replacement - bound to cause cracks, and its fun!

So, should they keep it + why?

I like it - It's a way of getting those housemates that survive through the series by only never getting nominated up for the chop too - though not every week

this is the worst idea ever! Rachael's up for eviction, yet people in the house dislike Dave more. how bloody stupid. scrap this silly idea and leave the housemates to simply nominate without messing them around.

It's a great idea since it will stop certain housemates from flying under the radar - look at last year with Lisa - she would have been gone early one if Freddie had won the task to stay and put her up, which he would have.

It's not just about the HMs though is it, it's what we, the public want to watch, and I for one would be happy to see all three of them go. Shabby this week though, then Sunshine, then hopefully Govan, Ife, Caoimhe and Corin.
Look at last year with lisa's gang who all voted together to keep themselves in for weeks past their sell by date, yet Lisa, Charlie and Kris were hated by the majority of viewers.

Oh yes, thats a very good point actually! Housemates that are liked by majority of the housemates (but are tits) or are boring but nice to be nominated may not escape this.

I was going to write something very similar to this, but you have, so I won't. Instead I'll heartily agree.

The only problem is that I can see BB setting the task based on who he wants to see stay.

And in answer to the original question...I want it to be everyweek.

Shame this didnt happen last year, would probably have stopped a lot of the block voting.

Also, if one housemate really grates on the others...they cant just keep putting them up for eviction until they go...which will cause more tension

I'm a Rachael fan, but I guess it's how the cookie crumbles at times.
I would like to see this done every week, however, it should work like nominations.

Today, Dave had no reason what-so-ever to put Rachael up for Eviction this week, so I think that the winner of the task should then put somebody up for eviction with a VALID reason.

So if you say you're nominating somebody because they're popular and you don't think they will be evicted, that is not a valid reason and I don't think Big Brother should allow it, but if you was to put somebody up for eviction for a valid reason then yes, I'd like to see it happen.

Ah, but Dave did originally nominate Rachael so he had every reason to choose her - I think people are more irritated by the fact that he didn't choose Govan instead.

I cant see him being nominated to be honest, not unless he suddenly develops a nasty streak.

And I'm sure they have thought of that anyway and have found ways to accommodate him.

I think it should just be the save part, not the replace
