I used to always have a Kadabra in my team, he was my favourite pokemon. I never had an Alakazam though as I didn't had the cable so I couldn't trade with anyone s0b.

Well tell a lie I had an Alakazam in the newer games since you can trade over the internet but that's not the same.

It was so dumb how you had to trade it for it to happen, I worked on my Kadabra for ages to try and get an Alakazam, got it up to level 50 before I realised it wasn't going to evolve
