Default Your Opinions on the BB13 House

So now that the majority of us have seen the house pictures, what do we think?

I know there's another thread - but it's huge and full of random links and the pictures are scattered about everywhere. So post opinions here, on the layout, theme, rooms etc etc

I'm still in shock at how amazing it looks and how much they've made it look different. I hate how they keep using landscape sort of walls though like last year we had the fake stones, now we have the Las Vegas skyline thing in the garden - but whatever, it just looks fantastic. The Bathroom isn't that good though.

And the fact they've moved the bedroom. BB9
The Garden pisses all over last year's, it's just brilliant I'm just worried that it'll look horrible on TV.

Default So, what's the verdict?

Edit: we must of made these threads at the same time. I love it! Huge improvement!

Think its so much better than last year, loving the garden & the bedroom, not to sure about the living room at the moment.

I really like it, but I'm still annoyed they haven't really changed the layout and structure, just moved a few of the rooms around and moved a few walls.

Knew Marcus wasn't to be trusted. And the fact the Diary Room is still in the same place for now the 5th (main) series in a row is just ridiculous.

I'm in the middle. Better than last years with some nice areas and nice bits of design (inside dining table). But overall it's still a tacky vibe that hasn't been shifted since BB9 with the coloured lights and landscapes on the walls.

Don't love or hate it. I like the living area and garden. Everything else is a bit meh to be honest.

I think it's ok, but it's miles better than last year's house.

The Diary Room really does need switched, I don't see where the logic is in keeping it there - and the stairs are annoying now too the way they're the same position - I liked the hall, but I guess it's good that they changed it from spiral staircase to a straight one.

I'm a little confused on this room though:
Spoiler:

The big main part in the middle - nearest to the garden windows, what on earth is that?

Cheap, tacky, crap, etc. Looks like it's a house for 2003 or something.

The dining table. There's a picture of it tweeted somewhere, with two long benches either side of it instead of chairs.

I like it, it could've gone very tacky and tasteless, but they've done well. It looks simplistic but professional, and I really like the theme of 'Las Vegas'. I would've liked it if they went with it a little bit more, but it's certainly an improvement on the other houses C5 have made.

Not the best house ever but I really like it. I think they've done a good job all things considered. Although I hate that the diary room is yet again underneath the stairs and I don't like that the staircase leads straight into the house again, I think there should be a vestibule or a door blocking the staircase from the housemates.

Really? I dunno - the bathroom looks outdated, It depends. It looks really modern in some aspects.
The bedroom just reminds me of BB9 though.

My review-

for sure this house beats all the houses since BB9- however I really dislike the whole bright lights feel to it- makes it look like a studio.

The garden is amazing- really nice apart from the las vegas backdrop- the pool and jacuzzi and everything are lush.

FINALLY the bedroom is in a different place [first time since BB9 the bedroom's been placed elsewhere]- I love having the bedroom in a different part of the house it's fantastic- yeah the bathroom's nice too being elsewhere.

The kitchen we haven't see much of but looks okay.

So we have the whole space where the bedroom used to be for free use? What will that be used for?

Glad they changed the staircase however wtaf don't they put a wall there or something? I dislike the open plan staircase thing a lot and the diary room corridor is pointless to. I swear if they keep that same padeed diary room backdrop....

This series looks promising so far- all we need is one killer twist to make the series it's own.

Apologies. I wasn't under the impression you had to be a professional in a specific industry to have an opinion on it.

People have opinions. Deal with it.

The house sets out the whole mood for the series and if you really dislike the house it can be difficult to put up with it all summer!
