How often do you get your hair cut and what do you say to the hairdresser when she asks you what you want?

Every 4 weeks, and he's been cutting my hair for about 4 years, so I just let him do what he wants as he knows what he's doing.

I cut my own hair just if and when it needs cutting. I used to go to the hairdressers, but it just eats into money when I can do the job just as well myself or even better, as many a time I had come out the hairdressers not pleased with the result. I would watch them at cutting and stuff, then practise on family members who were very pleased with the results of my efforts One of my older sisters even got aked for the name of her hairdressers after I gave her a layered haircut

Every couple of months, I get it short down the sides and longer on top.

My mums friend does it so I can tell her exactly what I want without feeling annoying.

Every couple of months when I think the length and layers are getting too long or if I see any dead ends at the bottom, got one on Monday actually.

I have the same hairdresser most of the time so she knows what I get but if it's someone else I ask for about an inch off the length, the same for my layers and feathered at the front.

I pay Ł32 for a cut and blow dry and that's what I mostly get but if I want a cut & colour its Ł56

Ł38 it costs me, but it's with a guy who owns his own salon in Birmingham City Centre, and that's a discounted rate.
