How do you pronounce trolling?

I've recently been informed that "trolling" is supposed to be pronounced like "trawling", which makes so much sense but I just cannot get used to it - I've said it "trolling" as in troll under the bridge for such a long time, rather than trawl or the troll sound in trolley.
